While I had been curious about the drama since I saw the trailer, I didn't think I would like it that much. But…
Omigosh, I'm so happy you posted here because I want to say that I'm counting on you to do a long edit of this beautiful couple. I love your short edits and I play them over and over, and I would love one that encompasses their journey from start to finish. Pretty please 🙏🏽🙃
Hearing those words, although Yan Hui's mouth was pressed to contain her laughter, her eyes slightly narrowed:…
Thanks to you, I started the novel and I love their bickering as well. I'm also now in chp 12 and just passed the section you quoted. I also liked this bit in chp 11:
"Tian Yao felt like Yan Hui was just like a child, freely jumping up and down on his sore spot, then proudly walking off. She gave no time for him to prepare a comeback.......
It really put one in a bad mood......"
The part you quoted is his 'revenge' for her putting him in a bad mood 😂
Rewatching mode on... ep1 the first slap YH gave wasnt the dark aura😅😅😅 was the snake🤣🤣🤣 i missed…
I’d commented way back that YH gives epic slaps 😂 She gave SY one too but it was more like a cuff than a full on slap. My faves are the snake slap and the first DP slapfest; DP’s image never recover for me after that 🤣
Cute but forgettable. I liked this a lot in the beginning. It was entertaining and the female lead was no damsel…
I feel differently but I totally get where you're coming from with some of your points. I agree that FY/DP was a mediocre villain; I was hoping he would step up at the endgame but, alas, no.
I really liked the side characters/secondary couples, though; I felt they added interest to the story without 'stealing' time from the leads. I must admit the acting for Zhu Li didn't impress me and it took a while for the character to grow on me.
As for the charm, I felt it got lost after ep 16 but some was regained after the Ghostly Eulogy was found and the leads start partnering up again. However, between episodes 17-21, some irreparable damage was done to the drama, most of which I blame on the BXS pivot.
I also wanted to commend you on this respectful comment; I love that you expressed a different viewpoint in a way that doesn't belittle those of us who may have liked the drama a bit more than you did 🙂
you might not know him but, Yuchi Longyan is in one of my list HAHAHA
Yes, I remember seeing that many people only stayed for the secondary couple, which gave me a lot of pause. I always watch a drama for the main couple; if I have to stay for another couple, I'd be super tempted to just drop it.

Thanks! Miss the Dragon is one of the xianxias I gave a pass on back when it was airing, due to reviews and comments I read. Maybe I should take a second look.
Omigosh, how could I have forgotten Wen Ke Xing?! Hmm, let's see, I'll fit him between Dong Hua and Xuan Ye, lol. But white-haired Tian Yao is in another league - all I'm thinking when I see him is 'ethereal' 😇
Me and my fickle obsession with white-haired men: first, it was Dong Hua (Eternal Love/Eternal Love of Dream) but he got thrown over by Xuan Ye (Immortal Samsara). But now, both are relegated to the past since I 'met' Tian Yao 🙈😆
This is why I am satisfied and content with the ending. I kept my hopes low since I know we can't get those really…
I agree with everything you said; I would've loved a longer reunion but I'm happy with what they gave us. But, seriously, Youku playing around too much. When I saw "The End", I literally sat up straight and was ready to let loose! 😂
