Yes, the whole phone conversation was showed in episode 11 I think. It wasn't that noteworthy, just some very…
You're spreading vicious lies that possibly youth could read, pertaining to the so-called challenge. It was in NO WAY relevant. I think you specifically wanted a chance to spread more evil and this drama was your vehicle. Reported.
"Will Possibly Star" "will reportedly lead" "will be the main lead" "did receive the offer" ALL are within the "article" and are contradictions.
As frequent "news" writers, I think lo_ve, and the others should question why there are so few Likes and Comments on "articles" which report a celebrity's proported involvement on projects. Most MDL accounts know if they read them it's a huge waste of their time.
Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed it. I like your perspective about how if one has a flexible imagination…
I woud think you'd take the number (which is high) of people who like your review as a confirmation. Those who don't want to read them can scroll pass. You be you and write to your hearts content. Otherwise, you're hiding a part of you others would like.
I read more reviews than I watch dramas/movies. As an avid reader, I consider reviews as mini chapters in a book which if one has the imagination that reading from a young age has developed, then one doesn't neccesarily have to watch.
Your review was one of the rare that provided an uplifting, informational, and comprehensive portrayal. It was a pleasure to read. So much so, I'd hoped it was longer.
So, it's 2023. This is the most positive time for people in the LGBTQIAAP+ community (so far) and there has been…
Acceptance from the general public is one thing and that's still questionable here in 2023, but asking a conservative NATION to go mainstream with the LGBTQIAAP+ ( you left out a Q) is quite another. Don't AT me. I have family members, and friends who are LGBT+. I made a point of asking what they prefer to see and read and it's inclusive when it's written as LGBT+. I had this on Hold, but now thanks to your rant, I'll watch (and after a friend's rec).
have you tried watching one JCW's dramas "Empress Ki" and "Healer" his best dramas in my opinion. Especially Empress…
I know you commented 2 years go, but I wanted to say your comment is the most honest and self-reflective reply I've ever read here on MDL. You put a smile on my face today.
Episode 16 when Ji Soo asks her mother "Why make me a fatherless child?" earned screenwriter Baek Mi Kyung a higher rating from me.
Once you've seen countless dramas (and movies) one tends to start picking apart the scripts, the direction, etc. yet, it actually makes it easier to pick out (discern) the lines, dialogue, a gesture directed or improvised, a camera angle, etc that merits a broader appreciation for the script writer or invites a closer look at their projects.
Justify it however you want, this new director has single handedly ruined the show for me, pacing is pure garbage…
I was awaiting Episode 13 to drop early this morn and while waiting I thought do I care at this point. So I went to bed instead. I'll finish the season, but my enthusiasm has greatly diminished. It's like they're all just going throught the motions to get it done at this point.
I watched it for the first 4-5 eps but dropped it to watch later. Today I randomly selected ep 10 to watch but…
>>"For me everything looks so terribly sad and gloomy, with the baddies always winning and rejoicing in the mercy of Do Hak. JJ is doing nothing significant too."<<
I think that's exactly why I'm having a hard time with it. I sat here tying to think of one moment during episode 10 when it wasn't sad and gloomy and all I could come up with is the kisses. But, as fleeting as they were they didn't lift the "veil" so to speak, of the past several episodes.
I don't want the sky to break open with song and dance for everyone but seriously, how much more doom and gloom can everyone take? I don't see 6 more episodes turning Do Hak and Jung Jin's story around. Not at the pace the writer has shown us so far. Like Diphylleia Grayi has said, each episode has been a circle, and it's been a repeat of the previous episode. Sure, we usually see a drama getting stuck or stalling around the mid section but for goodness sake this is ludicrous.
If not for Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, Do Sang Woo, Jin Yi Han, and So Hee Jung I would've sent it to the Dropped list.
I was considering this last night, and while reading the reviews I saw "I knew I shouldn’t trust this writer considering a certain disaster I disliked. " Now I'm curious. Could you share, please.
What is going on with kdramas this past year. Feels like there's nothing to watch
Stale. They've gotten stale. I'd suggest rewatching the dramas that drew you in, or watch older dramas, or choose one long running drama with 100+ episodes of an hour each to take a much needed break. Or wait for the winners of the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards to be listed and watch them, or rewatch.
I am gonna be honest with you. In my opinion, it's not worth it. I only continue because I am already on episode…
The last several episodes have been repetition, with only 1 new development (the father's death). It's been beyond frustrating. The screenwriter basically came out of semi-retirement for this, and really, if it isn't wrapped up with a satisfying ending I'll be putting the writer on a do not watch list.
