First off: "who are you to decide who is important and who isn't??". When did I EVER decide who was and who wasn't important? I just love how the mindless read things into what others say. LOL

Two: I didn't know he had an MDL profile on MDL for his participation in TV shows. Unless a User knows OF him they wouldn't know why he has a profile here. So, yes, he deserves an article just as much as any 'actor' and MDL should be ashamed for NOT acknowledging his death.

One of the problems of all of this outrage is that they're focusing on just the man, and NOT demanding the entertainment industry change their practices, nor are they calling for the government to pass harsh laws for protection, OR the agencies to force out their clientele that are known to them (and everyone else) for this behavior which inflicts lifelong trauma on their victims.

Focusing on one thing and not another is showing, sure, they abhor abuse, yet at the same time they're alright with watching their dramas. As long as they're entertained, oh well. And yes, I'm guilty of this by watching, but I''ve also taken steps to not watch anything when I've become aware of the predators. The hard work still awaits; personally banning the agencies that have them as clientele, writing emails to the streaming sites that offer their dramas, etc.

Today I'll add to one of my Lists, the name of the director of that particular drama, and won't watch anything of his going forward. Why didn't I do it years ago? Bc sometimes it doesn't 'hit' a person until something awakens them. This controversy has awakened a trauma that I've carried my entire life. I still reserve a right to see a full investigation into this whole mess from the top down to just this one man. It'll take SK citizens to demand changes to their country though and I'm SO hoping this is their moment for change.

If the ROOTS of child and adult abuse, especially sexual, are allowed as they have been, not just in SK, but across the world, our world will see more of this, not less.

I do report. The problem is that there are more comments that a single User can't report. This limits the "more no, pf people reporting". If 2 Users report 3 comments in the first article they read, then for the next 2 articles they aren't able to report bc MDL has restricted the nimber of reports by any one User to 3 in a day. This means to get them deleted, Users have to rely on everyone else reporting.

I've seen comments up to 7 days remaining under the articles. Spammers also hit the same articles over & over & over. My scrolling days are over. This should've been handled properly and swiftly from the start. I think the site has grown beyond what they're able to handle. But who cares, it isn't my site so if it eventually is so overrun by such as this then, oh well, the site won't be missed I guess.

One of the characteristics of a good man is that he's able to discern between a woman being happy when she cries vesus a woman being sad when she cries. A tiny scene in Ep 5, yet it totally is the expression of a great writer, rather than the ordinary.

This is what not deleting the SPAM comments quick enough has led to. SMH, what a shame. Since MDL doesn't seem to care this will be my last comment under such as this. I'm sure MDL will LOVE that the Users are giving up on wanting this site to flourish.

The herd mentality is strong surrounfing this controversy. Herd mentality is never good. It depends on the whole thinking the exact same thoughts and not as a individuals, and to not EVER question anything other than what the herd has been TOLD to think.

If tomorrow the idea is pushed that the sky isn't blue but brown and has always been a muddy brown from the beginning of our planet's birth, they would EXPECT the masses to believe it. A rare few who think critically would question this, so the powers that be EXPECT the masses to kill any descenting voices. Witness those who have taken a neutral stance in all of this the last few days. The herd is calling neutral thinkers, "pedos", "pedo supporters", "lovers of the actor", and other vile names. It's all a part of expecting the herd to take care of what the powers want everyone to think. What's so vile about it is there are victims/survivors of pedophilia who still have enough humanity to think for themselves. We wait bc we know first hand that most aren't believed when they have had the xourage to tell somone what has happened to them. The family, friends, etc being the herd, didn't listen. So most victims don't follow a herd mentality about any incidence. There are the rare few who's, for one personal reason or another, individual opinions refuse to squashed.

As a lifelong survivor, I find it appallling that most don't know the actual meaning of a pedo, nor do they know anything about what a victim/survivor goes through. The label is applied to everyone that doesn't support the herd mentality in this particular case, as if they refuse to acknowledge the words coming from victims of childhood sexual abuse, pedophilia, adult sexual assault, etc.

Our world hasn't reached the point where those rare few are put to death, yet, but there will come a time when there will be a public outcry for it. Witness many of the comments here telling others to "Kill urself".

All of this is misdirected. If the herd took the opportunity to demand change in their country, then that would be productive. But the herd doesn't think beyond what it's told to think. No critical thinking is allowed.

They acknowledged that there was a controversy, concisely. They didn't delve into he said/she said conspiracies. They reported like reputable news outlets have done since their founding.

LOL. You don't even realize Dispatch is a tabloid media pushing scandals for their profits, like the National Enquirer. I read my local, state, regional, national, then international news every morning. What I don't do is read tabloids. You people haven't a brain cell between you to critically think, to analyze, to see all sides of ANY issue, and immediately jump on what the masses and junk 'news' tells you to jump on, and they eat the profits up. You run with hearsay, serve their needs, and all the while call it 'evidence'. They thrive and depend on those who immediately serve their purpose which is publicity for profits.

I get my news from the big credible news outlets in Korea, and they HAVE posted about this. Stop reading the rags and read legitimate news. "not even 1 big news outlet from SK wrote about him"

Sometimes all it takes is that one situation, that one spark, for change, for people to unite and demand the change. Hopefully this is the spark.

In the meantime, all those sane folks calling out others for their hypocrisy are being bullied in the same manner. People just don't think critically anymore. They're like ants running around with no direction while stumbling over the Queen. First it was all on her. Never stopping in the middle to remember the multitude of comments they'd made about her. Then it was his fault. Who will it be tomorrow? The aunt? I never thought I'd ever see comments like this on a drama and movie site. Two and 3 years ago it was quite dif.

In SK I know of one adult actress who, probably at the direction of the director to elicit a real reaction, grabbed a teen actress' breasts from behind while they were in a bathtub full of bubbles. Being a victim myself, I recognized the horror on the young actress' face as being a real reaction. I've despised that adult actress ever since. Another scene shows her legs spread apart with underwear on. Nothing will ever change my mind she wasn't exploited while filming was going on in that drama.

So much wrong with this it's considered vile. The woman is dead, so there is NO "is full of drama" for her anymore. You weren't raised right. NOT speaking ill of the dead is a basic value (empathy) parents teach/instill in their children, if they're good parents. This is nothing but attention seeking. Your soul is in serious trouble, boy.
