I agree. There have been a number of Users who have volunteered to clean up the SPAM comments if given the authority to do so, but MDL not needing the help I guess, has allowed them to flourish. One artical in particular has more spam comments than regular normal comments about the article.

An "institution" isn't an 'association'. You're giving more credence to it. Institutions are established with a board of directors, etc. There's nothing online anywhere so my speculation about this 'association' is that it isn't real and the 'head' is solely interested in getting his name and face in front of the media.

There's nothing regarding this association as to its established date. So it is relatively new considering there's no info on it online anywhere.

Actually, Pekora, a single User account can submit 3 reports in a 24 hour time span. In essence, this is giving Users more incentive to creat additional accounts so they can additonally report. It has made me wonder if MDL is using this ploy to up their User count. Why limit the legit accounts, instead of taking care of the bot accounts and reports? SPAM comments use to not exist here. Now, there are up to 4 and 5 under some articles, and they've remained up to 7 days without being deleted. Now, we're seeing porn comments. Once a site is allowing such, then that is when we know the site has gotten too big for them to handle.

Take screenshots of your CW, PTW, etc bc MDL Terms of Service states they can shut down at any time without prior notice.

As if the public would believe him IF he were innocent. If guilty, no one would publicly refute claims that could easily be verified by law enforcement (you did mention crimes and not just gossip or rumors). Yes, my background is/was in law enforcement and the first thing we learned in classes in Uni was that anyone can bring a statement against someone else for anything, regardless whether it's true or not. The purpose of an accusation is for the public's opinion of that 'someone' to be changed/damaged. Every single citizen can be accused of anything and that scares the h*** out of me. I seriously can't stand my neighbor, it's mutual, and could accuse him, and he me, of anything criminally which would get LE involved, but by not being able to prove the accusation it stops us from doing so, simply bc neither of us want to expend the funds to do so.

I'm not defending him. I don't stan the man. I abhor abusers. I'm telling you how easily it is for the public to be manipulated. If the public pressure does reach a point where law enfocement has to get involved, then good bc every bit of it will come out, including the claim that he was in a relationship with her before she was of legal age. I applaud the family of KSR for hiring an attorney to file a complaint to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against YouTuber Lee Jin Ho on charges of defamation based on false information. In my lowly opinion, she was exploited from 9 years old onward while everyone involved stood by and allowed the abuse....for reasons. My hope is this young woman's death is the catalyst that has awakened the public to see/demand real change in the industry.

It doesn't matter if the actor eventually accepts the offer. The speculation beforehand is the problem with this type of article, so much so it has affected another writer who previous didn't post articles until AFTER confirmation from all parties concerned. Gossip and rumors are poison. One drop and the whole supply it touches is tainted.

This is the type of "news reporting" that has been allowed on MDL for months, if not years. It has directly led to the proliferation of Users demanding more articles presenting all sides in the biggest controversy on this site in the last few days. I certainly understand the reasoning behind their demand. The 'writer' lo_ve and Lily Alice provided the catalyst for all articles regarding the controversy to be posted here on MDL.

Speculation is gossip and rumors, and is NOT CONFIRMED EVIDENCE. Many MDL Users have complained for months and months about this practice, yet here we are; there's no denying it's turned into a rag/tabloid site.
