True, she did have to force him into this fake life as a way to protect him from ending up like her, but it resulted in a lot of terrible things for him having to live a lie. Honestly, as an adult, he now has the choice to live how he wants. His father can’t control or harm him anymore. He could move on from loving Gao Tu that’s his biggest mistake.
