For anyone wondering why they couldn’t recognize each other:
1. the room is supposedly very dark, we can't see anything from the footage it it was dark so obviously they'll dim the lights so we can see.
2. Voice and scent recognition? Sheng Shaoyou isn’t familiar with Hua Yong’s original dominant scent. Hua Yong has been using suppressants to mask himself as an omega, which makes his scent smell submissive and completely different. In fact, in the previous episode when Sheng met someone behind the curtains, he caught the orchid scent and thought to himself, “Orchid? Is that Hua Yong? No—it’s a dominant, an S-Alpha.” So he clearly didn’t realize it was Hua Yong.
3. Everyone was intoxicated by pheromones. With the heat/rut pheromones in the air, their senses are OFF and Wen Lang just lost his mind because of the omega scent xD
