Finally came around to watch this, came here from Glass Heart (watch that, believe me!) and that Satoh Takeru is a main surely helped me get the push.
I noticed that Satoh Takeru looked way thinner in GH, but I like him in this series, too. I mean, did you see that man? And did you hear him sing and watch him play piano or guitar? Heavenly!
A lot of people found the romance surprising or not fitting at all, but I beg to differ, politely...
I thought that the love of Naoki for Akane was pretty obvious, he put it all into his music. The lyrics, the melodies, the emotions...He just didn't understand that they were romantic feelings and not just inspiration or seeing her as a muse.He did it with the others, too. Each one of them got different music, different sounds because he let his emotions talk through his music. He loved his brother just as much as Sho, but they were different kinds of love, so they got different sounds. I think that the people closest to him understood that and that was the reason they all stayed. And through their love for Naoki, they could make such amazing music, going above and beyond for him and their fans. I really loved the last episode, the energy swept through the screen and I felt as if I was there, right in front of the stage!
On my 4th re-watch, will probably do so until I get tired and IDK until when lol, I mean for me everything was…

I asked my partner, who is a Japan fan and I mean the country and culture, if those series are over the top with…
I'm glad I could bring another pov into the pitt π I think that those differences between our cultures and such make it even more interesting and we can learn so much π
.... .... ... ... I'm at a loss of words, like damn! They rippen my heart out and all! And what a way to end this episode?! How can we wait for a week after this?
The BGM really intensivied the emotions from the actors, it was like it pierced right through my heart! Beautiful!
it's not the best but it does makes me wanna see takeru satoh and keita machida in a BL together π
I Politik disagree with the "it's not the best" part, but strongly agree with the BL part! They could have just ended as a throuple or poly, imo, but the BL part was really strong and emotionally just perfect!
damn how i missed seeing satoh takeru and also suda masaki on screen and now i got them TOGETHER??? AND THEY GO…
I feel you! I started at the black screen for who knows how long because I couldn't understand that it is over! I could watch easily double the amount of episodes, listen to every song that got played, watching the actors act like their lives depended on it! I mean, all those raw emotions? Like, hello??!! That isn't easy to pull off!
This is AWESOME! All the characters are perfectly flawed, the story is well written, the actors are so captivating and the songs? Where should I start? I.Fucking.Love.Them! Banger after banger, emotionally charged, emotions you don't unterstand, messages you can't just say out loud.
This is easily one of my Top 5 shows this year and the closest to my all time fav japanese Media, NANA. (If you have not watched the anime, this is your sign! Music just as captivating, characters you want to protect, and strangle, you will know who I mean! and so many emotions! Get your tissues, snacks and water, tea or whatever, and enjoy the wild ride! Believe me, the soundtrack is still playing daily in my house! )
side note.... The chemistry between the characters is chef's kiss! All actors were so amazing, I mean, it is almost freaks how well they showed all those complicated emotions through their eyes, micro expressions, the tone of their voices and their beautiful tears!
If there ever will be a second season, I will be the first, front row with TenBlank banner, t-shirt and all!
Well, it said in the trailer that this will be the most chaotic BL we ever see and it stayed true to it xD Loved all the chaos, the slow build up and all. It's not for everyone, but if you want a nice mix of everything and a beautiful and soft growing relationship, give this a try!
Tbh I am kinda tired of JBLs where 30 year old men act like a couple of 13 year old. It's the big 2025 and grown…
I asked my partner, who is a Japan fan and I mean the country and culture, if those series are over the top with their portrayal, because I find it irritating, too. He said, that that is fairly common. Once because of their culture, no PDA and relationships are still a private matter, and second because of the "study hard, work hard" mentality. They just don't have time to learn how to "couple" in their teens and twenties, so they can be awkward around the person they like. Even more difficult if it is the same sex. It's not illegal in Japan, but still frowned upon, so that can explain their stumbling throughout the dating phase.
Sounds logic to me, even I can be awkward around people I like, new friends and such. And my friends wouldn't describe me as a shy person π
I couldn't stop grinning xD Nut is just a force, I loved every second of his screentime! And he is real xD I would be confused, too, he was so cute talking to himself xD
I just ship them all π π€£
I can't describe how much I love this show, the cast and the production team!

And Wenai! My dear Wenai π€©
Until then, I will share your pain! π₯Ή
Is it todays motto to keep the ending open? TT

The last time I liked every song was with NANA and that is almost 15 years ago!
