Omg! Thats one of my fave bl movies of all time and I didnt notice that he was Jonathon in that movie! Thank u!
I was really impressed back then. And that love scene! Hot!

I don't care much about the other couple at the moment. But I want to see more of Ray. I still can't believe that he was Jonathan back then in Eternal Summer. One of the first Asian Gay Movies I watched, and one that I remember still to this day. Love of Siam, No Regret, Eternal Summer! The good old days. 14 years ago! How time flies ... BL came a long way, that's for sure!

They're both childish to an unrealistic extent because the writing is so sloppy and eye-roll inducing. The whole…
"maning up" Hahaha! I'm only worried about the plot not making sense, but I think the dialogues and the tension and the lovey-dovey and/or hot scenes will be good. They will make it work. I trust Sam & Yu. They just needed some lame-ass-excuse to separate them for so long, so that they can meet in a different setting as adults. Sigh.

This is what glues me to this series. This is one of the few times I see a couple in a BL looking and behaving…
Exactly. Those two just seem to like each other genuinely. Everything feels so natural and real. I think it's mostly Yu's doing, though. He has no boundaries when it comes to skinship. He is always all over Sam ;P

As far as I could figure out the timeline goes like this: Shi De went to America in June 2020, Shu Yi visits him in July 2021 (and then didn't contact him anymore) and Shi De goes back to Taiwan in 2022 a year later. A year later!! You were madly in love with this guy for a decade, finally he loves you back - and then it takes you a year (!) to fly to Taiwan after he doesn't answer your texts anymore? How are we supposed to believe THAT?
I still have some hope regarding Shu Yi's out-of-character reaction. I think there is more to that. Maybe they had some issues before, or he suspected that something is wrong. No idea.

Don't know what the writer was thinking. Just keep the plot simple and focus on the characters and their emotions. No need for such an unrealistic complicated background story apparently caused by miscommunication. Sigh. Not to mention that something else must have been happened when Shi De went back to Taiwan, because again years (!) go by until they see each other. This time Shu Yi is veeeery mad. I wonder if the girl and the baby will play a role in the sequel. My guess is no. Whatever responsibilities Shi De had back then, I think it's a thing of the past. They just inserted all that stuff to find some weird explanation why they got separated for 5 years. But I still believe in miracles, so who knows? Maybe everything will make sense.

I thought about it and have no idea how they will fix this. Sam seemed very worried in the latest live. They know that this project is risky. At this point I don't have much trust in s2. Hopefully we get more background and explanation regarding Shu Yi's reaction. Shi De on the other hand is such an annoying character. Not talking to Shu Yi, keeping things from him, not meeting him for 2 years (!!!). I cannot think of any plausible explanation. Sick mother/stepsister/half-brother etc. Come on! You don't get a week off in 2 years? It also seems that Shu Yi didn't answer his messages for a year. Imagine your boyfriend isn't contacting you anymore, and you take your time and go find him a year later! This is so far-fetched in modern times with video calls and cheap flights. Shu Yi appeared very hurt, but in s2 he is angry at Shi De. Not to mention that the father must play some role. This looks too complicated and messy. I never had high hopes for s2, because I'm too used to disappointment. But seriously ... HOW can they fix this? Just go with the boring plot, that the father did something to separate them, and we are all fine.

This spin-off should not have existed, imo. It just made people feel confused and less excited even with so many…
People are exaggerating like always. It's just a series, not real life.

I think this is just some kind of special. They just put together some scenes. It's very random.
I really hope they are going more into it. In the music video there is this scene where Yu is looking at his bracelet while he is sitting on his bed, his laptop near him. They didn't use that in the spin-off. Thy reused the bar scene three times, so hopefully they will reuse some of the spin-off scenes and add some new ones to explain better what happened. If fans are rioting now - then this will get ugly. I think there is a lot in s2 to come that will make many unhappy.

Well, we saw the bar scene three times: in Ep6, in the spin-off and in the MV of the OST. I wouldn't be surprised…
I almost skipped forward, because I have seen that bar scene often enough. But those two love-birds being cute and kissing each other on the cheek was lovely <3

It's no. 1 on WeTV at the moment. I think that little time and effort was worth it. I see it as some kind of advertisement.

*eye roll* they wasted money to make this when they could have added this to s2 and hash things out better. Wtf…
Well, we saw the bar scene three times: in Ep6, in the spin-off and in the MV of the OST. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those scenes in the spin-off will be repeated in s2. This episode felt like a preview.

I think that whatever happened that wasn't explained in the special episode (but probably the baby is his nephew…
Was there any timeline explained? 101 days of love after he arrived in America. So they were 3 months together at this point. Then he wrote his first mail to him. We see the hospital bills. Then next scene suddenly Shu Yi is in America and sees Shi De with the girl and the child. How much time passed at this point? Not to mention that Shu Yi looked excited to see Shi De and I have no idea if Shi De even knew about him coming to America. The mails make no sense. Maybe it's a translation problem. Then Shu Yi broke up with Shi De and didn't reply to his messages and Shi De went to Taiwan 2 years later since they separated. Sigh. What can be so important that you can't go earlier? Taking care of a baby? Nah, there are other people to do that. And what happens then? Again three (!) years passed? Is now Shu Yi's father coming into the picture? They said in the live that everything will make sense later on, if I remember correctly. They phrased it differently, though. They said there are lots of hints and the pace is fast. I'm not mad about this, to be honest. But I find it funny how going to another country is treated like being on a different planet. It's not. I was separated from my family for many years when I studied abroad, and it's normal to talk hours on the phone. So I never felt like I was gone.
