I feel it's the opposite. I have no issue with Mean. He still gets me with his intense stares. But Plan is over-acting. It's not cute.

There is no need to warn people about this. It's natural seeing animals killing other animals. We are living in an over-sensitive society who has forgotten how nature works.

Unpopular opinion, I know, but I must admit I like the new Tin character. I feel they look closer. In LBC I liked their dynamics and their chemistry, but their story/relationship was a bit problematic. There was a lot of tension between them and it always seemed (until the very end) that Tin was forcing Can. I don't know where their relationship in ACTL is going, but if it is more loving, I'm not against it. The only thing that annoys me is Plan's over-acting and his bangs. But Tin being softer and well, more sad, it's not that bad.

I guess you have never seen a cat playing with a mouse ... Such comments are proof that people have lost any connection to nature.

I don't like how they milk those BL couple. We had LBC Tin/Can, ReminderS, then 2Wish, some music videos etc. People like them, want to see them, and so the writers/producers don't bother telling a good story. I could never get into the 2Wish couple. I know many people didn't like Together With Me Next Chapter, but I always felt they tried to connect the prequels Bad Romance and Together With Me and did a rather good job. At least they tried something different, they tried telling a story! Now Max&Tul have a new project that will hopefully not disappoint. Tin&Can on the other hand get a reboot? It's so obvious that the story of a couple is not important, this is just about looks and chemistry. The same with Pete/Kao, where they changed Kao's character in every series just to be able to write a (cliche) BL story around the two beloved characters. I wonder what they will do with Team/Win. Again a very charismatic and good-looking couple, but their story in UWMA was paper-thin. There wasn't even a story. I watched their scenes several times and still didn't understand anything about their relationship, though I compliment Boun for saying those cheesy lines with a straight face. Well, back to ACTL: I don't dislike it. It's just tiring. The older you get, the more shallow those series appear. They are digging so deep in the whole "genre" that I feel we just get "copy and paste"-content. LITERALLY in Tin/Can's case, where the story gets retold.

I'm honestly confused why people are soo into this. The guys are gorgeous. I love Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. I LOOOOOOVE them. Really, really gorgeous, sweet, talented (especially Yibo, he could make a living with this dancing skills alone, a natural talent), but this story is just meh. After I read the novel I'm a bit disgusted. The manga/manhua adaption is also disappointing. The art work is horrible. So cliche. The whole love story is typical for Chinese BL. It's about rape and aggressive/obsessive top and weak bottom (I'm talking about the novel). It reminds me a lot of Addicted/Heroin. It's terrible written too. Those sex scenes! Jesus Christ! The last time I read something this bad was 15 years ago when I got interested in BL fanfiction. That those badly written, pornographic fan fictions are getting a series is funny. I cannot imagine something like this happening in the Western world. I have read better German and English fanfictions that of course never made it to the big screen. Talking about the series: the characters are much better than in the novel, but the love seems rather one-sided to me. I rated it with a solid 9, because there was some greatness to be found, but seriously ... it's not the best thing ever. I lately wonder about Chinese mentality, about their crazy toxic fan culture, about the reason why a BL story gets that popular. What's happening in the minds of young Chinese women? It's a bit concerning. How they brought down Xiao Zhan and it wasn't even his fault. All because of some pornography ... Jesus. Really concerning. I'm a BL lover too, for 20 years now, but I never was that crazy.

I think 7,5 would be appropriate even though I rated it lower

Watch the Project S series. I started with S.O.S. Skate Our Soul. I had no idea that Thailand is capable of doing something like this.

I think that BL series are rated rather high on MDL. Trapped has a rating of 8,9 when many high-budget Korean dramas with a great storyline are rated lower. A BL series must be pretty bad to not get a 8+ rating. Even Together With Me: Next Chapter has a rating of 8 when back then everyone hated it. And 2gether wasn't that bad after all. At least the first 6 episodes were enjoyable. I really don't know if the rating will drop further.

There are many BL series rated higher than 8: every History 2 and 3 series, TharnType, Together With Me, 2moons etc. I would rather say until it's not terrible it gets a rating above 8. 2gether's rating will not drop under 8 either.

You should move on. This is pointless. How long do you plan to hate on it? What's the goal or benefit here? I never loved a BL series as much as I loved this one. And now I'm disgusted. But I moved on in a day. Btw: Max&Tul are coming back in Manner of Death. Hopfeully the BL kings will save our lives and show us how to act as a real BL couple.

Btw ... the cultivating thing, the magic (some is blue, others is yellow etc.), the meaning of the instruments - was this ever explained in the series? If yes, I would like to know in which episode, so I can rewatch it. I feel lost here. Or do people know this only because the are familiar with Chinese fantasy and have read the novel?

I'm not familiar with Chinese fantasy at all. This is the first Chinese drama I ever watched in my life.

I'm glad they censored the love. I'm a sucker for soulmate-stories. Their relationship was so great, it doesn't have to be sexual. Not to mention that I got some strong asexual vibes from Lan Zhan. I don't know about the novel and I guess the romance fits the story, but in the series I felt like nothing was missing.

Love With Flaws was really emotional. The few scenes they had were very powerful.
