As much as I think this show messy AF and a few other things bother me, I have to say this . In all fairness,…
"the horror on Can's face" - it was worse in LBC. This time they try to show us at least that Can falls in love too. I don't hate it, but I doubt that we will ever see a nice kissing scene between those two where Can looks like he enjoys it. I get the feeling Plan is hating all this stuff with a passion (kissing/hugging/affection). Today I watched a video of a fan meeting and the host wanted to hug him and he escaped LOL He is very reserved in nature and apparently he is not that good in acting to fool us.
I love how everyone is like "after this episode..." Don't forget we're only half way through, we shouldn't be…
I don't see how this last episode was any better than the previous one. I watch this for Tin&Can and the reboot is slightly better than the original story (the relationship is less forced and Can shows some signs of falling for Tin, but that's just my preference). The writing is still messy and lazy. Episode 5 was too sappy and the story just doesn't flow right. All those other characters and couples are unnecessary. They should do it like in "My Engineer" where every couple got an equal amount of screentime. I'm really not a fan of that writer. Obviously there is something about the characters and stories she writes that people enjoy, but they should hire a co-writer or something. With some small changes this series would be much better. Now it's just all over the place. People who say it's getting better are most likely referring to the plot who seems to make more sense now. But the writing is still atrocious.
hehe, yeah, tbh the hair in Thai BLs always has me scratching my head a bit. the actors know so much better what…
The plain hair style suits the character, I guess. But he was better looking in LBC. It's a horrible thing to say but sometimes he looks ugly. And that's just a crime making him look ugly when he is so pretty in real life. Those bangs that cover his eyes give me anxiety. Just cut them half an inch and I can die in peace. I always thought that Thailand is rather strict (like many other Asian countries) so it's not common for students to have long (and/or colored) hair and ear piercings, and those series try to portray "normal" students.
I love Tin&Can and the reboot of their story is done well. All the other couples creep me out, though. And Tin's brother? If he wants to be a villain, be at least a good villain.
Asia being obsessed with the "fair-skin" look creeps me out. I'm as white as a sheet of paper. Where I live tanned skin is considered beautiful. But nobody would ever describe someone based on his skin color. It's a crazy world.
R.I.PIt's alright to go through bad times & there's always someone to talk to even if you don't think there is.…
"Suicide is never the answer" is easy to say for people who didn't experience this kind of thoughts. If your life is so miserable, what's the point in living on? To be more miserable for a longer time?
Who fought Can's new hair style would be a good idea? Plan has such a pretty face and now they give him those bangs that hang over his eyes and look badly straightened? I'm a bit mad about it.
I'm not sure what you mean - it's so stereotypically BL that I feel I'm watching all the other BLs I've ever seen.
How is it stereotypical? There is good acting, good filming. I don't feel like skipping a scene. The dialogues are good. It's like a normal solid TV series. Not cringy, not boring, no second-hand embarrassment until now. You cannot reinvent the wheel.
About Plan being uncomfortable: I really like the new season and watched some Mean/Plan stuff, fan meetings, fan…
This was a pretty big rumor back then, but today YT recommend me an interview where Mean talked about not doing BL roles anymore, and he was polite and charming and said nothing inappropriate. I wonder if back then this was just blown out of proportions.
No need to sh*t on Thai BL when praising Korean BL. Thai BL has a lot of flaws, still my favorite couples are…
I don't watch (Thai) BL for the fan service. I'm not a "shipper". When I talk about "BL couples" I mean the story they show us on screen. And there are some stories that really excite me and I was on the edge of my seat to see how those guys realtionship develop and if and how they will get together. I don't have that feeling for Korean BL. But there are only two series out now. So I will wait what's next to come. But in general I never watched those cheesy romantic Korean Dramas. I like the Action, Fantasy and psychological stuff. Especially the psychological stuff like in Night Flight, Method or Eclipse. WYEL tried to be psychological, but at the end it was just unnecessarily complicated and they were beating around the bush. What I want to say: Until now Korean BL is good, but it doesn't excite me. Mostly because they go in the light-hearted, cute, fluffy direction and I'm not living for it.
I always thought that Thailand is rather strict (like many other Asian countries) so it's not common for students to have long (and/or colored) hair and ear piercings, and those series try to portray "normal" students.
It cannot get any easier ...
