"However, I still don't see how that is relevant to the discussion." Jesus Christ! Not even a question is allowed? Even my favorite BL shows had rather lack luster first episodes, so I was wondering what kind of first episode you think was good, because this show had the best first episode I have ever seen regarding thai BL.
But I don't understand the complaints from the fans who hate GMM putting the subs later. People! They are not…
The views always drop. Maybe people just watch the first part because they are curious or it gets recommended by YT? In most cases the first part of every episode has always the highest views until there is a part with intimate scenes which people watch over and over again. When they add subtitles the views will increase again.
Don’t know how this one will turn out, but the 1st episode was one of the most enjoyable I have seen in a while. Good humor, good pacing, good acting. Much better than everything else that aired in the last couple of months.
Why r u is really shallow ... what a shame ... the script is sooo weak ... I'm a bit disappointed after watching…
When I think about the #metoo debate some years ago ... There are so many women out there fighting for their rights and the men are always the bad guys (mostly white heterosexual men) and then they are reading rape stuff for their pleasure. I know it's just a kink or a fantasy, but it's still strange. I honestly believe that more women out there are obsessed with rape fantasy than men.

I know. That's why I'm always annoyed if people talk about those BL series like they would support the LGBT community when in reality it's just a fetish of heterosexual women. When I see those fan meetings and girls are screaming their lungs out when a guy unbuttons his shirt I highly doubt those are lesbians. The problem with Korean BL though is that it's just too depressing. I enjoyed movies like "No regret", "Night Flight" or "Cutter". All masterpieces, but really hard to watch. It's a difficult situation. It seems there are only two options 1) telling a good but depressing gay story or 2) feed the fantasies of fujoshis. I would wish for something in the middle.
Can't help it, I've been re-watching the episode since yesterday. Makes me notice their acting and their expressions…
The problem with Thai BL is that they always seem to follow certain genre rules (for whatever reason). It's slow, cheesy, full of fan service, clichés and second hand embarrassment with unnecessary dialogues. Characters are talking about getting something to eat or going to the toilet - who cares? 2gether felt very fresh and unique. I watched it twice without subtitles just to enjoy their facial expressions and the comedy. It's more similar to Taiwanes BL than the typical Thai BL. Less episodes may help I guess. I often feel like a series could be much better with better pacing, better directing and a better scripts. Most of the time the actors aren't at fault.
Ep. 5..It's all about humor and fanservice now. Not that I'm complaining (well I am, but not because of any hatred)…
Why r u is really shallow ... what a shame ... the script is sooo weak ... I'm a bit disappointed after watching ep 5 ... too much fan service ... I don't watch those series to look at half naked boys who are a decade younger than me ... I like the relationship, the chemistry, the tension. But well ... 2gether is looking good. I wonder how it will turn out ... If they don't start providing better stories, I'm out. This is just not fun anymore when you feel like losing brain cells watching a series. Just make it a bit smarter for once! I watched the gay side story in "Love with Flaws", a Korean Drama, and it had so much more depth that you will ever find in any thai BL. Is there really no capable writer out there? Is it that hard?
No, they are not. Just don't be so spoiled. We can watch this for free after all.
I know the subs are bad. I'm just not bothered by it. And I don't see a big change in the meaning of a scene or can you give me an example? Because someone was posting a video where a guy was translating a scene in ep 4 so fans will understand it better - and it didn't change anything for me. Whatever I thought about that scene it was 100% the same. Even though the subs are bad, it's easy to figure out what they are trying to say. Of course better subs would be nice.
DO THOSE GUYS KNOW THEY ARE IN A THAI BL SHOW? Because I get the feeling they don't. They aren't standing around all stiff not knowing where to put their hands while delivering rather cheesy lines in a slow and dramatic manner with awkward pauses in between. Those guys are actually ACTING with their faces, their bodies. I'm seriously shooked. From now on it will go downhill for sure, because this is just too good to be true. That's the best acting I have seen in any thai BL to date. Especially Tine (Win) is doing a great job. Where is this guy coming from? He really goes all in ...
The side characters make this show a comedic masterpiece
This show isn't the smartest out there. While I watched ep 5 I felt like losing some brain cells. But the humor saves it. It really feels like a parody sometimes. The timing of those noises we hear in thai BL is also pretty good. The scenery is great. It's obvious they really care about the colors of the background. Whoever filmed, produced, directed this has some talent. The story itself is 100% cliché though. I feel like I have seen similar storylines hundred million times before. But I guess that's the whole point.
Didn't think they would finally kiss. After all that teasing! Couldn't believe it until their lips finally touched. The millisecond before that happened I still thought NO, they aren't gonna do it. But THANKFULLY they did :P
No, they are not. Just don't be so spoiled. We can watch this for free after all.
The series will be on YT in no time and most people are watching there. I don't think they make much money. I saw an episode that had half a million views on YT. That said, those series don't have much depth anyways. Not to mention that they recycle storylines. I personally don't think not understanding everything takes out the fun. Use your imagination! If those dramas would be so complex that a single translating mistake would change your whole perception and/or understanding of the story, then yeah, this would be a problem. But let's be real for a moment. This is not great filmmaking with life changing dialogues.
Less episodes may help I guess. I often feel like a series could be much better with better pacing, better directing and a better scripts. Most of the time the actors aren't at fault.
