ppl really shouldn't criticise this drama just because they argue that it isn't realistic ... it isn't supposed…
What bothers me the most about this drama, that it doesn't provide any emotional depths. I lately binge watched some Korean Dramas that made me really think and reevaluate my life. Crash Landing on You has just nothing interesting to offer until you want to know if the leads are getting together or not. At this point I don't care. If I think of dramas like "Memories of Alhambra" which were much more suspensful or "Something in the Rain" which was much more emotional and also one of those dramas that made you think about life and love, Crash Landing on You just feels meh. (I took those dramas as an example because both leads where in them and I enjoyed both dramas much more). Not every drama has to be deep. It's enough if it's cute and funny. But I personally I'm bored to death watching this. That doesn't mean that I think it's a bad drama, it's just not for me.
On Dr. Romantic Season 2 Jan 21, 2020
Beautiful episode, but Dr Kim is much nicer in season 2 ... Refusing to treat a patient is a huge deal, but he didn't say much. They both didn't show up to the surgery, but he was pretty calm about it, not wanting to pressure them (?!?). Imagine a situation like this in season 1 where he was much harsher because of less important things. He made life very difficult for his juniors. In season 2 he is the nice, smart and forgiving teacher/father figure you would expect him to be. I'm not complaining, just a bit surprised.
On Dr. Romantic Season 2 Jan 19, 2020
I enjoy season 2 more than season 1. That doesn't mean this season is better, but in season 1 the "chemistry" between Dr. Kim and the young doctors was BAD. Dr. Kim and Dr. Kang were SO difficult together. And the femle doctor was just a mess. It was frustrating and hard to watch. Dr. Kim also behaved like a jerk most of the time to lecture his juniors. In season 2 I feel he didn't change, but the dynamics are better. The chemistry with the new doctor Jin Woo is much better. I feel like they are on the same page. I really like his character. As a doctor he is very professionell and doesn't panic. That combined with the bad boy image is a bit cheesy, but it works. The girl is the completely opposite, but it works pretty well. I'm excited for this new series.

there is a difference with a doctor who has issues and is working through them, and the doctor who is putting…
I 100% disagree with you on this. It's VERY realistic how the situation is handled. I myself have some anxiety issues and work in the psychological field, but NOBODY will take you aside and tell you "Look, you have to do something about it." Everyone is busy with climbing up the ladder, with his own job, with his own private life. This is just how the world works. People stay silent and observe - or they just don't care. If I remember correctly in the first surgery where she assisted the surgeon told her to focus several times. I'm sure he isn't concerned about her and will think she has to figure it out herself, unless HE gets a problem, but at this point it didn't happen. She is a capable and smart doctor, you cannot kick her out just like that and ending her carreer in a second. Where I agree with you: I have no idea how she could even become a doctor with those issues, but she is smart and sly so she managed somewhow. The way how this is portrayed, how she blames others, how she always tries to find away around the problem, is very well portrayed to the point where I think the author himself has some experience with this problem.

God, I really hate In-bum's dad (Geode's president or whatever his position is). Just go away, man.
I hated him in season 1 with a passion, but not in season 2. I somehow cannot take him serious anymore. He is just a small man, greedy, power hungry, and envious of Dr. Kim.

When she felt asleep in the OP room she had to chose between a) being suspended or b) being transfered to Dr. Kim's hospital. This issue wasn't taken lightly. It was mentioned she could lose her licence. And since she is at Dol Dam Hospital Master Kim has obviously an eye on her. After doing a good job in the ER she got her first (!) patient. Nobody is overlooking her problems, but such a situation isn't resolved with going to the therapist once or twice. She has some heavy anxiety issues. It's pretty common that people try to hide this and deal with it somehow by deceiving themselves and trying to deceive everyone else. When you have such problems you're not aware what you're doing. She is not going in the OP room thinking "if I fall asleep, the patient will die, I don't care". She obviously takes those pills to be able to endure the situation and to do a good job. The only odd thing is that those pills make her sleepy. There is other medication who takes away anxiety without having that side effect. You would think she is smart enough to take those. In general her character is rather annoying, but in the first season it was the same. Dr. Yoon was driving me crazy. No idea why the author decides to make the woman so helpless and weak. This new girl is at least a bit cocky and doesn't feel the need to apologize the moment she opens her mouth like Dr. Yoon did.

Maybe its only me. The drama start with high note and fall flat into the middle. Don't feel like continue watching…
I really enjoyed the first episodes, but since ep 6 I'm rather bored. It's a good drama and they do a lot of things right (music, production, acting), but it's really not that captivating and it's a bit too cheesy and silly for my taste.

If Extraordinary You's rating peaked at like 9.3 while it was ongoing (since dramas that generate a lot of buzz…
lol, so true. That 9,3 rating of Extraordinary You was so exaggerated.

The whole cast is brilliant so much so I even like the fiancee with resting bitch face because of her I learnt…
There were many arranged marriagges back in the day and many of them worked out well while here in Europe where "love" is so important and without love everything is worthless every third marriage gets a divorce. I'm no fan of arranged marriages either, but this is a different culture and who knows? Maybe it works out. Of course I'm rooting for Se Ri and we all know she is endgame. But in some cultures a marriage is more than falling head over heels for a person. It's a choice of living together, bearing offspring etc. In fact the idea that you marry, because you love that person romantically is very new. 200 years ago this wasn't a thing. NOWHERE.

I think she did a lot until now. There aren't that many options. This is supposed to be North Korea after all…
I'm normally very easy annoyed by helpless female leads, but like I said, that's North Korea. She cannot leave the country. Even as a North Korean citizen you cannot go to another town (in North Korea!) without permission!!! You cannot move freely around. She is stuck in that village, but she tried to escape twice (!!) The second time by herself. She even went out to socialize with her neighbors, in hope she would get Ri a promotion and so he could get her out. Her life is in danger if they found out who she really is. The best choice would be keeping your head down, hiding and planning the next escape. And that's exactly what she does. I get the impression you think she can just hop on the train and go out. It's not like that at all.

I think seri is such a lovable and funny character but my only issue is with how the writers are portraying her…

Person Hyun Bin
I like him a lot as an actor i watched most of his series, but ...since secret garden his face shrink i was so…
He lost a lot of weight and had problems gaining it back. In Secret Garden he was extremely thin. In the currently airing drama "Crash Landing on You" he looks much bigger (his body and face). I doubt there was any plastic surgery involved.

I am going to watch this drama just for Hyun Bin. I have loved him since Secret Garden (he was hilarious) and…
Same here. I liked him in My Lovely Sam Soon, loved him in Secret Garden. Unfortunately I didn't like Hyde, Jekyll, Me and thought he was done with dramas. After binge watching Memories of Alhambra the last few days I'm so in love with him like back then when Secret Garden aired. I'm so glad he is doing fine. He seems to be such a humble and talented human being. I wonder what's so great about him ... I don't get it myself. Watching him makes me feel happy and relaxed.

So dont watch it.
Unfortunately I have watched it – while hoping for it to get better – and lost many brain cells along the way.
On Memories of the Alhambra Dec 21, 2019
I'm at ep 6 now. Incredible drama. I wonder why I never heard of it. And Hyun Bin is great like I remember him. I thought he doesn't do dramas anymore. So happy I was wrong. Crash Landing on You is looking good too, but this one is extremely intriguing.
