Everything was very cute this episode, you just want it to go on for hours! I hope people perservered from the…
I don’t see how this series got better. The quality was the same from ep1 onwards. It’s just that people have no patience and want to go directly to the fluff/passion.
Ahem, that was not a shower scene. For a shower scene, watch TharnType :P
Did you watch MODC? I'm not sure reading your comment. I honestly don't care much about the sex scene. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it, I didn't need it. But in the previous episode they kissed (before the sex scene, which then got a continuation in the next episode) and I immediately thought: "If someone tells me those two guys have sex NOW, I totally believe it." That only happened to me in some Max&Tul scenes where I felt it's believable those two had sex. Most actors in BL series are straight anyway and I don't care about what they do in their private life, I mean I don't ship them, but even though a scene is well made, I normally think "Nope. You two never had sex and never will." Even though the chemistry between Tharn & Type is pretty good, I have a hard time believing they have sex. Gulf is the problem for me like it was Art back then in What The Duck where Mew&Art delivered the worst sex scene I have ever seen in my life LOL. Hopefully they pair Mew up with a better guy in the future.
That's ALL we were asking for. Some soft moments like the hand holds, and the arms around his waist, maybe a sweet…
A FB post appeared directed to New's fans where he complained about how they are harassing his girlfriend. Someone on YT explained to me that she follows Tay&New for a while now and she has seen the exact same post two years ago. She also said, New has many haters and they just want to drag him down. No idea if that's the truth. The whole post and the whole drama made no sense to me. He had a girlfriend before, which was never an issue and never affected his friendship with Tay. Why should it? In that interview where they were sitting apart, it was obvious that Tay wanted to sit closer, but in the last second he changed his mind like he suddenly remembered that he cannot do that. I have also seen how New touched him without thinking in a rather inappropriate way and then Tay brushes his hand aside. It's like they want to avoid being shipped at all costs. In another show they were obviously very distant, but then they had to play a game and they were touching each other like before and nothing is awkward. I'm just done with this. It's exhausting. And DBK is just not an enjoyable series.
What I am recommending? I'm not an avid BL watcher. I just occasionally tune in and binge watch some series. I'm also very picky. The nicest I have seen lately was 2moons 2 with Ming&Kit and Forth&Beam. At the moment I only enjoy MODC and I'm waiting for the sequel movie of Boundary Crossing.

To be fair, Kao was completely different in Kiss The Series too. I strongly feel the author doesn't know what to do with this character and reinvented him now 3 (!!) times. I'm normally don't interested in actors and their private life. The only ones I ever "stalked" where the two from Addicted, Max&Tul and Tay&New. The latter had such a beautiful, complex and deep friendship like I have never seen before. Now suddenly everything is so strange between them. I get the impression the problem lies with New. He doesn't seem to like the whole shipping thing and is focusing more on hetero roles, which is strange considering he had no problem back then when he was paired up with Earth in Waterboys. He also delivered a pretty sensual kiss in this series. Now he looks like kissing a man is the worst thing ever. I don't know what happened between those two and I don't want to follow the gossip. I want to live in my bubble where they are still the best of friends.

I don’t think TharnType is that hot, otherwise I would watch it despite the story not being to my liking, but I gave up a while ago. I can see why people like Mew, but Gulf is in my eyes a rather unattractive guy from his face to his acting to his body language. Max&Tul are still the hottest pair in my humble opinion.

"Yeah I think they're not friends in RL" You mean they are not friends anymore? Because before they were great together and "best friends". I saw some recent interviews where they were sitting apart to the point that it was really obvious something is not right. It put me in such a bad mood that I stopped watching.
Those awkward pauses are for sure a Thai thing. I also find if funny when they are just standing around in such an unnatural way as if they wouldn't know where to put their arms. Watching Taiwanese drama is pretty refreshing, because they don't do that.
Regarding TharnType: I don't like Gulf and that's a big problem. His acting, his character, his appearance – I'm not a fan. Mew is more charming and his appearance is more captivating (at least that's how I feel). I have the same issue with MODC: Hao Ting's character is not to my liking. I recently discovered how important it is that you can fall in love with BOTH actors of a couple and that's not always happening. In DBK New is dragging the Kao&Pete ship down too. Tay is by far doing a better job.
I'm not sure if characterizing Kao as "not caring" is valid. He was there for the filming of the cooking video…
I think the script is partially to blame. I had no issue with his acting in KMA. Still, New isn't very convincing in most of his roles. I don't know what's holding him back.
He is such a complicated guy in real life. More of an introvert, always playing the victim, but in fact he is savage and it looks like it's hard to get along with him. But then I saw in an interview how Tay&New had to answer questions about each other and it was shocking to see that New knew everything (!!!) about Tay, vice versa that wasn't the case at all. This shows how he cares about others, how he understands and observes others. I feel like he is more emotional and introspective than Tay who honestly is a rather simple and out going guy. So why isn't he doing a better job when it comes to acting? It makes no sense.
I most be in a minority... I actually liked Episode 7. At last we got a romantic moment between Pete and Kao.…
New has such a complex personality in real life ... It's hard to understand that guy. It's also hard to understand how those two are best friends for so many years when they are so different and always on each others throats. It's really a mystery ... Talking about DBK: The chemistry is gone and I'm fed up with New trying to look cute all the time. At the beginning Tay wasn't any better, because he tried to look hot all the time. It's mostly the script to blame I guess. They just messed this up.

All those BL series airing at the moment (MODC excluded) seems cheaply produced and have some pacing issue. Regarding TharnType I'm bothered by the pace too. It's just not that exciting. I feel there is not much to the story even though the plot had some potential. And then those annoying pauses before the characters speak – sigh! Talking about slow speech: you can watch DBK at 1,5 speed on YT and you will be able to read the subtitles just fine. That really shows how SLOOOOW the series is.
I have no problem if Pete&Kao don't show us any kiss. If the chemistry is good, that's all that counts. A sweet scene here and there, maybe a hug or a peck on the cheek – perfect. But the chemistry was off between those two from the very beginning. Their interaction feels awkward and forced to me for some reason. That kiss wasn't that bad, but it was far from great, especially after seeing the make out session in MODC which felt pretty natural. Tay&New just seemed to force themselves while kissing. This is just the worst. Really. This ship is sinking like the Titanic. I don't feel like watching this kiss every again.
If you mean the comments on YT: people there are less critical. But here on MDL you see how many are disappointed.

Which comments are you reading? People are pretty critical and negative about this series. Maybe that changed recently, because the people who don’t like it, dropped it finally. I should too, I guess. I‘m honestly so disappointed in the whole BL season. TharnType is not my cup of tea, because of the story, yes, but also the pacing and acting. UWMA is pretty cheesy and rather annoying. MODC is the only interesting show at the moment, but I‘m not really loving it either.

I don't want to spread negativity, but this series is incredible bad. Like they aren't even trying ... the series is completely unable to connect with the viewer on an emotional level. Mork & Sun are nice, but they don't get me excited either.
