Maybe you should give more Thai BL dramas a chance. Some might be a bit stiff but I found the most enjoyable BLs…
I have seen it. It is one of the more mature stories you can find. I remember the main characters worked on a school project. Nuer was writing about great love stories, Porsche was working on LGBT rights. At the end he said: "Look at the diference. Your work takes you to temples, mine to night clubs." Great line, really. But I wasn't a fan of how the (apparently hetero) friend was in love with his gay friend the whole time. I didn't see that coming. It felt so rushed and out of the blue. Also, it seems there was a bad end and I was just not invested in the characters enough to go there. I only watched two or three episodes I think. Still it was a good watch.

One thing that disappoints me about with the longer "double episodes" is that when a new one starts they don't…
LOL, I double checked if I clicked on the wrong episode. I also was hoping to see how that "kneeling scene" was resolved. Maybe that's why some people think the pace is wrong. The pace is okay, but if you skip those scenes it really feels rushed. Like later on Hao Ting just asks Yu Xi Gu if he can came over and I was like ... what kind of relationship do they have again? After that kneeling scene I didn't expect Yu Xi Gu to be so ... submissive. But maybe he was afraid, Hao Ting would tell the school about his job? Still a great series until now.

I'm pretty sure I watched (or at least tried watching) almost every Thai BL series out there. My favorite BL couples are 1) Korn&Knock (Together With Me), 2) Pete&Kao (only in KMA) and Tin&Can (Love by Chance), 3) Ming&Kit and Forth&Beam (2Moons 2). You see: all Thai series. Still how they deliver their dialogues bothers me. It's the same in TharnType, always those pauses before they speak, especially Mew does it. I'm well aware that's a cultural thing. I have seen some hetero Thai dramas and they also do it. Chinese/Taiwan series are just different and more to my taste when it comes to the acting. That doesn't mean that I in generell prefer Taiwan BL series. I'm not even a HIStory fan like others. MODC will most likely not became one of my favorite BL series, but the acting is very enjoyable to watch.

Thai series should take some notes from Taiwan. And I'm not talking about the plot, the character, the production. I'm talking about how they deliver their dialogues. There are some over-the-top scenes, yes, but in general their acting is very natural. They are not standing around and saying "uhuh" like they do so often in thai series. When they have deep discussions you don't see the actor anymore, only the character. Even though I'm sure there is a make-up team that touches them up constantly, you're not aware of it. Not like in some thai series where you feel like it's a constant photoshoot and you as the viewer have just to admire the beautiful looking faces while they deliver their lines in such a slow way like they don't remember them.

I think there are a few lessons in this series. It's about understanding each other and their circumstances, it's…
It can get very ugly very fast on this site, I know. I'm not bothered by it anymore. I guess I'm used to it. And I guess actors/directors/producers have to get used to it too. At least the many comments show that people are emotional about a series. I also feel that because so many different people come together, the opinions are more balanced out. I hate it when a very bad series gets lots of love (and no criticism) and a very good series gets constantly bashed by everyone for no good reason. Lately it's more like there is an equal amount of haters and lovers, if that makes any sense LOL. Look at TharnType and Dark Blue Kiss. There are also many people who hate on it. I always try to not "hate" on a series, but I'm also a very critical thinker and like to point out good AND bad points. I think MDL is after all still the best place to have some deep discussions.

I agree and disagree... I love their friendship moments when they talk about being in love and their silly and…
I'm not sure about the development though. I think the characters are written like this. While I enjoy Hao Ting's silly personality, I just hope they just keep it down a bit in the future. I'm not bothered by Bo Xiang, but TWO silly characters is one too much ...

i feel like im one of the only ones that is actually happy with the pacing of this show lol i honestly hate it…
Who is saying that kiss was unacceptable? It's getting ridiculous now ... The pace was also okay. I was more surprised about the second couple.

What an amazing fictional drama that doesn't aim to teach me life lessons, morality, law and order, etc, but just…
I think there are a few lessons in this series. It's about understanding each other and their circumstances, it's about learning from your mistakes, about changing your views on life ... Compared to other BLs there is plenty to learn from.

Atleast better than TharnType series atleast
I always respected your opinion. But if you think TharnType is any better than this, then I'm out. Like seriously. TharnType is some kind of smutty fanfiction where a psychological trauma gets handled very badly and is done to make it "hot". The fact alone that such a trauma is used to make an erotic series people can drool over is tasteless. It's on the level of 50-shades-of-grey regarding the emotional depths. You can still enjoy it if you don't take it serious (the kissing scenes are done very well and rather tasteful), but calling this a masterpiece (even though you just did compare it to another series) shows that people have lost any reasoning.

I'm so very disappointed with season 3 of HIStory. I was on the fence with Trapped, because I had no love for…
You're a bit harsh, really. It's good if there are different stories out there. Not everyone enjoys the same. I like it so far even though it has some problems.

I'm really liking this, but Hao Ting's character is so over the top. It's getting annoying. How he and Bo Xiang behave, because they are in love is just too much. There is some chemistry between the characters, but because the whole being-in-love is portrayed in such an exaggerated way you feel a certain distance. It's still early, but at the moment it's hard to imagine how those two couples will develop a mature, serious, intimate relationship when in both couples (!) one of the characters is so childish.

I have to say Hao Ting's ex can really act. Theis drama really showcases many talented young actors and actresses.
Hao Ting's sister is also great and very likable.

I like New, but I think he should stick with straight roles, I think Tay can pull it off, but not finding either…
I think the script is at fault. Tay was incredible in 3 will be free. In DBK he almost seems like a bad actor. Same with New which I liked in Waterboys and KMA. Here he looks like one of those pretty faces who cannot act.

Oh that's annoying imagine dropping a series because they think they're not good looking...how sad. I personally…
YXG would be gorgeous with some more weight. He has a very beautiful face.

They must be blind.
I don't think he looks any better in real life. His hair is messier, which makes him cuter. Still his hair is rather thin (and not shiny and thick). He looks malnourished. There are a lot of people who are very skinny, but don't look sick. There are also many people I suspected being sick, but they tell me they just cannot gain weight (if that's true). He doesn't seem to lack energy though. In the series he jumps over the fence like it's nothing. What got me shocked were his hands. Very slim fingers.

After watching TharnType, I proceeded to watch the clips of DBK with Engsub. And yes, I agree with your opinion.…
I don't remember any other BL that made me giggle like this. I just don't get the humor in thai series normally. I'm more a fan for subtle humor and I normally hate over-the-top-characters like June, but in this case he did a really good job.

They did a good job in Our Skyy. It almost feels like someone else wrote DBK. Many people complain about the lack…
They had a rather silly but cute plot with a great romantic scene. You can find it on gcinee, it's ep 4 if I remember correctly.
