Don't get why this still has 8.6...Out of all the BL dramas released so far, the story is the most unoriginal…
I don’t care about the unoriginal plot. You cannot reinvent the wheel anyways. In Kiss Me Again they also had the most cliche BL plot you can think of. But the execution was much better. DBK is just boring. I‘m a TayNew fan, but this is too much.
Since HIStory2, writers know the boundary of consent, which sets itself apart from other Thai dramas.
Please, just stop. I'm tired of those complains about TharnType. Just don't watch it. It must be nice being young and having the energy to complain about things over and over again. I decided to drop it after ep 3, so what? It's out of my mind. I will drop DBK most likely too if it doesn't improve. It's really not that serious.

Well, there was a forced kiss without any consent in the last episode. I wouldn't decide the quality of a series just by the consent issue. It's about the characters, how they are written, how they develop etc.
Yep. Some people can't handle the bully thing and some people can't stand the aggressiveness of Sun. That's what…
What makes this so good is that those characters feel real like real people with real issues. Not everyone in real life redeems himself. I can get invested in those characters easily while I have a hard time doing so with other BL shows that air at the moment. This is very raw.
Out of the bl dramas released so far, this and Dark Blue Kiss are the only ones that don't have "consent" issue…
DBK isn't that mature. The conflict between Pete&Kao is extremely childish and forced. Tharntype is ... ugh. Whatever. Make Our Days Count is my last hope, really.
I think that’s the point though. He’s supposed to be ill and sick a lot, because it raises questions as to…
The actor was casted because his appearance fit the character, but I feel a bit strange knowing that in real life he really is that skinny. He didn't lose weight for the role.
Honestly the plot is kind of trash. So unoriginal. But since Tay and New are in this obviously we're going to…
The plot in Kiss Me Again was unoriginal too, but it worked very well. I felt like they did a good job where other series failed. This time though ... sigh ...
So basically....Dark Blue Kiss is about Pete jealous of an 18 year-old that Kao tutors who Kao doesn't even like…
I wonder if it's getting better. I feel like the characters changed again. I don't know what annoys me more: the timid, soft, shy Kao who is afraid of a fight with his boyfriend, or the hot headed Pete with his childish jealousy. I remember those characters differently ... especially Kao ... sigh ... While being in a relationship can make you vulnerable (you don't want to fight with your boyfriend), this is just too much ...
A smooch? I wonder about that too. The underwater kiss (at least I think we viewers are supposed to believe they kissed) in the first episode was such a tease.
Pete and Kao are a classic example of a couple who end up break up over a little misunderstanding. They are in…
They are both so annoying, sorry. Kao seems to be afraid of having a "real" argument with Pete (like you said, he wants peace) and Pete is just exaggerating. Why does Kao have to chose between Pete and tutoring Non? This is so stupid. As a working adult I just shake my head about this whole situation. That Kao has to use his tutoring money to support the family must be an Asian thing. I would never want my sister to support my studies when she is studying herself. Also, if you have problems with your roommate, endure it. I had terrible roommates too! On a side note: if Pete is so bad at his studies that he cannot get in that famous company, why isn't Kao tutoring HIM?
I agree it looks childish but there are people like him that exist who are really this insecure and can often…
Watching the trailer I got a different impression of the storyline, which is completely my fault. I thought Pete would be annoyed by Non and a bit jealous like we know him and then, when Non makes it clear he wants to steal Kao, he would talk with Kao and Kao would not believe him, because Pete is the jealous and hot headed type. So this time Kao would be somehow at fault – and not Pete. Instead once again Pete is the problem child here. They should put a halo on Kao's head, because he can do no wrong. If at this moment it would be clear, that Non wants Kao, then the whole conflict would be different and would make sense. But just being annoyed by those short encounters is very stupid. The same goes for Kao btw. He was annoyed in ep1, because Non was cutting the line. Really? And then you start fighting with a stranger over a milk shake? This is what I call a "forced conflict" LOL There are people like this out there, no doubt. But I don't know at the moment if I want to get invested in this childish behavior and conflict :(
So I now watched it with subtitles and even though I love Pete&Kao and their rather mature conversations they have in this series, the conflict itself is so childish. We are supposed to hate Non and I'm just sitting here and thinking about getting a gun, because if THAT's a reason to hate somebody, there are people out there I have to shoot immediately. No joke. This brat is annoying and cocky – that's it. He doesn't even want to steal Kao from Pete at this point. Well, he intends to, but Pete cannot know that. And even if he tries, so what? Pete is just too insecure and childish. How can you be bothered by such a brat? This tutoring thing is a big opportunity for Kao, he should be supportive. Will they drag this out until the end?
LOLWell, many seem to think Tay is hot, I have no opinion about it :PI feel like they are playing it safe. The…
Yeah, with the music and everything it's a bit soap-operish. Those scenes in the swimming pool were pretty unnecessary. I can imagine such a scene with an actor like Max would work. Not sure if Mew could pull it off though :P I personally don't drool over any male actors, but I'm more used to the "western" idea of a good looking man. Most of those Asian actors look very "boyish" to me. I sometimes feel like a pedophile staring at them :(
I've just watched the 1st episode(I know I'm a week late and an episode behind) and from all the BL series that…
LOL Well, many seem to think Tay is hot, I have no opinion about it :P I feel like they are playing it safe. The series seems very carefully produced and scripted, but at the same time there are just no "sparks". I said a while ago Tay&New will rule over the BL heaven if they play their cards right – but that ain't it. They should have made this relationship a bit more spicy. In Kiss Me Again it was so sloppy and all over the place, but it worked. Also, the humor was much better. Kao was my absolute favorite back then. I found New in this role cool and hilarious at the same time. In Dark Blue Kiss he just tries to look "cute" the whole time, while Pete has to look "hot". Sigh. Sure, it's always more interesting, if a relationship is just starting compared to when they are together. Like in Together With Me Next Chapter where I felt like they had to struggle to come up with an interesting plot (at the end many hated it). I just wonder if they couldn't give us something more exciting. Guess not. I must say Sun and Mork aren't doing it for me either.

I had no idea those guys are that funny.
