Okay ... I feel like I watched a different series. "Tharn made unwanted sexual advances, for the 2nd time."He…
Yeah, I have heard about the drama with Art. I dropped What The Duck, because it wasn't to my liking and I honestly don't want to try watching it again. So I don't know if Mew looked "better" in the past, but I suspected he went through some rough times. I hope this series doesn't get too much hate. Everything is just so toxic lately. Don't like it, don't watch it. I think it's terrible if actors, producers, directors get hate. As a viewer you can write a negative comment/review, but that's it. This shouldn't get personal. I mean if he didn't recover fully from what happened in the past, and now people are hating on the series! Jesus!
Talking about the novel, I'm even more confused now. Is Type gay or not? If someone gets abused as a child there are more or less two outcomes: they show exaggerated sexual behavior – or the opposite is the case. Type seems to be a rather typical heterosexual man who doesn't seem to have problems with his sexuality. But we don't know about the abuse. Did it happen over years or just once? Was it a stranger or a family member? Those factors play a big role in how this kind of trauma develops. Whatever. If the author is not going that deep, I‘m not mad. It's a story after all.

Not a fan of Tay? *crying in a corner again* LOL Then you will miss Dark Blue Kiss? What a shame. 3 will be free wasn't to my liking though. I think the actors did great (Joss too for a rookie), but the story was so far fetched and all over the place. I couldn't get into it :( So I cannot tell you to watch it ...

This has to do with sexuality I guess. I mean I like any kind of action (girl/girl, boy/boy, girl/boy). I'm still not over the threesome kiss in 3 will be free. It was so beautiful *crying in a corner*

I have to try to erase that scene from my memory to continue this show (I'm a big dramaqueen I know xD)
Local fans are complaining again? Sigh ... In the meantime I will replay that scene. The girl is cute *blushing* Those local fans should try making their own BL. I guess, then every series would be the same and they would be happily watching the same stuff over and over again. I even read somewhere they are also complaining about the actors not being attractive enough? I think the cast is pretty good looking and charming.

Never heard of Dante's cove, but it seems I didn't miss anything? The first thai BLs I watched were so cringy, I never understood why people are going crazy about them. But now I'm a fan too. I think everyone has the right to criticize a series, but it angers me if people are coming again and again after EVERY episode and complain again and again. I mean, we get it, they don't like it. Move on! This is such a horrible situation for the actors, producers, directors. That "hate culture" is a bit worrying.

LOL. I'm still mad at Knock for never kissing his girlfriend in "Together With Me". For me it makes the whole plot more believable if there is some boy-girl action too. Not necessarily regarding the (gay) main characters, but at least put a hetero pairing in the show or a female friend. A universe where everyone is gay and male just doesn't exist. I really enjoyed the hetero couple in Trapped and I love Yihwa and Cho in TWM. Still I'm here for the gay, of course :P But hetero, lesbian, bisexual action is great too :P

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! A love scene with a woman! NOW I'M HOOKED! I LOOOOOOVE IT! My BL dreams came true! I soooo hate it, when they don't dare kissing women in BL. It makes everything so unrealistic. And what a scene this was! I'm fainting ... ahhhhhh ... Oh god, now I cannot wait for the intimate scenes between the boys! YEAH! Sorry, just had to came here to say that. Don't understand a word or what's going on though. No subs :(

And they are getting better and better. Some years ago BL series were cheaply produced, rather cringy and bad acted. Not to mention that most of the old days low budget gay movies were depressing and ended with one of the characters dying. Nowadays we get cute, romantic and well produced series.

Okay ... I feel like I watched a different series. "Tharn made unwanted sexual advances, for the 2nd time."He…
Oh, I think, Mew is an attractive guy. "Dark" and "edgy" is something that many find attractive. I just strongly feel that he looks a bit unhealthy. It's the eyes, the face. He isn't that slim, but when you look closer he seems to have very low body fat. This guy is just bones, muscle and skin. When you look at the image of him on the actors site his face is much puffier. I wouldn't even recognize him seeing him now in TharnType. I normally don't comment on actor's looks. The only time I did that was when watching "Because it's my first life", a Korean Drama, where the male lead was HEAVILY underweight, but everyone was like "He looks so hot." Mew on the other hand doesn't look underweight. Like I said, I cannot point my finger on it, but I still think for his age he looks a bit "wrecked", which sure is part of his charm. I find him much more appealing and attractive than Gulf. What I meant with "sensual": That scene at the end of ep1 was HOT. It's obvious Tharn is lusting for Type, which some people don't seem to like considering the circumstances. This is not some puppy love.

Talking about the series: The pace isn't that great. Ep 1 started with "I hate gays". Then we only got a tiny flashback that showed us how they got along before. They didn't take their time to develop this relationship. Also, Type blushed in the last episode, because of Tharn. I just think it happens too fast. But well, it's not that big of a deal. They have to start somewhere I guess.

Amen! Not hate! Thailand is top notch in BL and this series is no exception!
It's always the same in the BL genre. It's NOT about the story and the characters or the writing, it's mostly about how people want their BL to be. Fluffy, hot, cute, romantic ... Surely not controversial and politically incorrect. Sigh.

I agree so much. I honestly think of Tharn as Techno said, a really good guy. People will probably hate on me…
Honestly I am not a fan of Type. Hating a gay guy because he was molested by a pedophile makes no sense to begin with. Becoming gay himself later on makes even less sense, He starts to get attracted to Type. I wonder how he will deal with that. He really behaves like a brat.

In Kiss Me Again we learn how Pete & Kao became a couple. Kiss Me is the sequel, even though it was released before.…
Yeah, in Kiss Me Kao is nerdy, insecure and jealous, while Pete is confident and mature. In Kiss Me Again Pete is immature, obviously the jealous type, hot headed and a "bad boy". Kao on the other hand knows exactly what he wants and doesn't let anybody mess with him (especially not Pete) It's like Bad Romance/Together With Me where Korn & Knock got an own series because of their chemistry and popularity. But there at least they kept the characters the same until the end.

"i JuSt WaNt To HeLp YoU rElAx"Tharn made unwanted sexual advances, for the 2nd time.Tharn triggered Type's trauma.Tharn…
Okay ... I feel like I watched a different series.

"Tharn made unwanted sexual advances, for the 2nd time."
He dit it, because Type was badmouthing his father. So Tharn snapped and wanted to get back at him. Type is grossed out by Tharn because he likes men, so Tharn is using this against him, by touching him in an inappropriate way, showing him condoms and stuff. A dick move, but efficient. He obviously feels hurt by Type's reaction to his homosexuality, so he is fighting back with exactly THAT.

"Tharn triggered Type's trauma."
How should he have known? Type seems like a cocky idiot who just hates gays. You would never expect him being so vulnerable.

"Tharn did not feel any remorse."
I felt like he was out of it in the whole episode. There was that scene in the bathroom where he looked horrible. He obviously knows that he did trigger something and isn't feeling good about it. He later had a talk with his friend who was also worried about him. He took care of Type and didn't touch him more than necessary. He washed his body without lifting his shirt. He looked rather uncomfortable, but others seem to think he looked aroused? I'm lost here. He also didn't want that Type's friend tells him, WHO took care of him. "You don't want it to be me?", he said later on to Type, knowing that Type will feel disgusted again and he doesn't want that.

"Tharn deserved to be punched.
Tharn deserves more than a punch.
Tharn deserves to be in jail."
In the first episode Type was enjoying the kissing and touching, while he was sleeping and obviously not aware of WHO was doing it. To a certain degree he even responded to it. That didn't trigger anything bad, there was no violence, no threat of violence though there was obviously no consent. So I get why people are upset. I too mentioned several times this is not a good start. The second scene in ep 2 was different. But what exactly did Tharn anyways? He hold him down and touched his leg. Go to court with that. Good luck!

"Tharn deserves all the hate from Type and more." Well, Type doesn't hate him anymore at the end of the episode. Though he hated him at the beginning without any reason – just because he is gay, what obviously took a toll on Tharn.

"Tharn is a sexual predator."
Yeah, because he goes after any guy or what? We don't know enough about him. I read somewhere there is a side story about his ex boyfriend. As far as I remember it was not Tharn's fault that the relationship didn't work out. Tharn is portrayed as a very sensual guy in general and I think his appearance is to his disadvantage. Mew should take care of him, he looks like a drug addict. There is something very edgy and dark about him.

"Type is a victim.
Type needs help.
Type should fight back."
What kind of help? Let's be realistic here. People just don't recover from that stuff, you have to live with it. Type fought back until now with all those silly mind games. He hit Tharn in the face too, when he was helping him wake up. That kind of violence isn't nice, but nobody is complaining about it. I love Pete&Kao of Kiss Me Again, but I'm surprised that nobody was bothered when they fought to the point where Kao was hitting Pete unconscious. I'm honestly still shocked about that.

"Type shouldn't feel indebted to Tharn for taking care of him when he was suffering from trauma induced fever caused by Tharn himself."
Again: How should he have known that he would trigger such a reaction?

I feel stupid "defending" this series, because it's not that good to begin with. Such a plot will always be questionable. I personally don't see much problems with Tharn regarding how his character was written (I'm only taking about the writing and not morally judging his personality), but I don't get where the attraction between those two is coming from and that's just something that makes this story "cheap" for me. Tharn seems to be drawn to Type. Yeah, he is gay. That's apparently enough of an explanation. But why feels Type attracted to him too? It seems like he is falling for him slowly. Like what the hell?! How? Why so sudden? I wonder how many abused children end up in a happy gay romance in real life. My guess: none. They are also focusing too heavy on sexual stuff like watching porn and jerking off, while making a joke out of it. That combination between heavy trauma and comedy is always a bit ... well, problematic. In general this story has some potential – or can go downhill pretty fast *fingers crossed*. We don't know yet.

In Kiss Me Again we learn how Pete & Kao became a couple. Kiss Me is the sequel, even though it was released before. You don't have to watch it. Pete & Kao have almost no screen time there. Also their personalities are a bit different.

Even I have to admit that this series is taken a big risk with a few of their scenes and bordering on being highly…
When I saw the trailer and read the plot summary I thought this is going to be a terrible mess. But so far it's not that problematic. I still think the script is weak, but the actors are saving it.

Title TharnType Spoiler
After watching the second episode. I feel like they are bordering a thin line in dealing with really heavy topics…
Well, I felt like Tharn finally got it. Maybe I have to rewatch the episode? He seemed to understand what's going on. After that scene when he was holding Type's wrist down, he seemed to be careful about not touching him more than necessary. The body wiping is an asian thing (in my country you don't do that EVER), but he didn't lift his shirt. THAT would have been fan service. He seemed very tense while doing it too. Later on he only touched him to check his fever (forehead and neck). It was Type who embraced him.

But honestly, I don't know what to say anymore. I thought the first episode was pretty shallow, this one was much deeper, the third one is maybe shallow again? No idea where this is going. But I thought in ep 2 they did a rather good job with the story and the emotions. Could have been much, much worse. I'm not sold to the script yet, but the actors are working hard.

Honestly, after the trailer and the first episode I didn't expect this development. It's surprisingly deep. They could have done a much worse job. So far the actors are really not taking it easy.
