not to bring any type of problem, but can anyone recommend me another BL serie while they upload weekly?
2moons2 is great. Took me by surprise, especially because I hated the first series. Ming&Kit and Forth&Beam made it easily in my Top 3 favorite BL couples.
I'm partial to the "enemies to lovers" trope and also feel that in this pairing the vast distance between "enemy"…
The violence depicted in this series is pretty interesting and realistic. I once got hit by a ball in my stomach (it was an accident) and that really hurts (I didn't expect it to hurt that much!) and you feel nauseous. No wonder it was hard for a weak and starving guy with stomach problems like YXG. In other series you see how they hit each other constantly, get a bloody nose and then everything is fine. Like in KMA where Kao hit Pete unconscious and some heavy breathing later it's all good.
Talking about how this all started: I really liked how XHT didn't care much when they told him someone was stealing his girlfriend. He really isn't the hot headed, aggressive type who feels like fighting every second. One of the twins started it all. XHT even called him out in a scene saying he is "too aggressive". They were punished and had to sweep the leaves. XHT was there too and helping them. Why? He wasn't called out by the teachers and wasn't punished. XHT seems to be the leader, because he is a fun guy and very generous. They seem to admire and really like him. He later on did hit YXG, that's true, but it was more "pushing" than hitting how he told his mother. I can imagine that a young, big, strong guy like him has no idea how strong he really is, especially confronted with a weak guy like YXG. For us viewers it's so hard to watch, because YXG is so miserable. I really think even the twin didn't intend to hurt him that badly. Sun also fought with him, pushed him to the wall. In other dramas this wouldn't even be a big deal, but here you really see how YXG is suffering. I don't want to defend the violence in this series, but compared to other series it's much less, but has a much bigger impact, which is pretty brilliant. We also see how there are adults, ready to stop the violence and even asking YXG if he is fine and tell him he should talk to the teachers if something happens.
I also hope, they redeem themselves. Still I think this is just so unfortunate for many reasons. I personally cannot hate any of those characters. They are not ill-natured. The girl is the only one who is mean and manipulative.

"To watch someone with so much power wield it so gleefully against someone so needy was very difficult for me." Exactly. I'm also familiar with the "enemies to lovers" trope, but it was never done like this. It really is difficult to watch. This is serious. Even if Pete& Kao were on each others throats in KMA, it was rather entertaining than heart-wrenching. I must give Huan Juan Zhi some credit, because he plays the miserable boy very, very convincing. Still Hao Ting is a good guy. He is not your typical bully. He is just very carefree and not aware of the seriousness of his actions, which I guess changed after the last episode. They in general do a good job in portraying some high school kids that lack experience in life. I feel like this is a situation that got out of control and nobody wanted that, which makes it even more terrible.
Honestly, this is so terrible and that's why it's so intriguing. They are all good guys. Hao Ting took a joke too far, that's it. He was childish, immature, had no idea what he was doing. But he now has the power to ruin Yu Xi Gu's life. No wonder Yu Xi Gu's is afraid of him. This seems to be just a tense situation. Also, isn't Yu Xi Gu doing this job in the first place, because he will not get the scholarship. Which again he doesn't get because of Hao Ting teasing him and not letting him participate in the exam? So this is all Hao Ting's fault. Imagine. I really want to know how they can develop a relationship with this terrible start. The second couple is interesting too. Even though Sun is love-struck and stupid, Lu Zhi Gang is handling the situation very well. I'm really surprised. I expected this series to be more like Boundary:Crossing, but this is so much deeper, more mature, more serious. It's not the kind of story you can fangirl about easily or where you replay scenes again and again. It's not fluffy, shiny, hot. But it's really getting to me and at this point I must say I never felt like this watching ANY BL story. This is pretty unique. I'm also glad to hear it gets a lot of attention of local fans. I want to see more such stories.
I thought it was just me who feels rather bored watching the first 3 episodes, but reading some comments, so it…
No, it's not just you. Tay&New chemistry is great, but with such an extremely slow paced rather unappealing plot which feels like it's just one filler scene after another I don't see how their chemistry can save this. After 3 episodes I feel like nothing much happened. The team behind this series lacks some real motivation. It seems they thought "Let us put those guys in a series and show their beautiful bodies and faces and everyone will go crazy." I don't remember seeing Kao shirtless in KMA, now I have seen him twice. Same goes for Pete. This starts to feel like Waterboys LMAO. They only meet in the swimming pool so we can see their naked bodies.
I was going through my old reviews of dramas I have watched and felt compelled to write a review for. I re-read…
I said it since watching ep2: They changed the characters, especially Kao who was always in control in this relationship and gave Pete a rather hard time. Now he is afraid of a fight with his boyfriend. Yeah. Pete on the other hand worked hard for this relationship and after he dropped the bad boy act he was very vulnerable and rather mature. Also – and that's really the worst thing – the humor is completely gone. In Kiss Me Again there were some well acted, very funny scenes. In Our Skyy too. But DBK feels to me very soulless. It's a shame, really. I'm honestly very sad, because I was so excited.
I don't think you should pay so much attention to votes on this site. Most of the times are other things that…
The ratings mirror mostly the emotional reactions to a series. They play it safe with DBK. I mean, it's hard to hate it at this point. Imagine some kind of cheating plot like in TWM Next Chapter and the ratings will go down immediately.
I don’t care about the unoriginal plot. You cannot reinvent the wheel anyways. In Kiss Me Again they also had…
The thing I dislike the most is the production/directing. Compare this to History3 which is very raw and seems rather low budget. But even in a scene where the characters have a very casual conversation, you feel like you are there, right in the middle. DBK looks extremely "staged". There are so many scenes where they deliver their lines in such a boring way and the team behind the series seem to focus more on the actors looking flawless than on telling an intriguing story. I feel like I'm supposed to watch this just to admire their beautiful faces and I'm just not that kind of viewer.
Don't get why this still has 8.6...Out of all the BL dramas released so far, the story is the most unoriginal…
I don’t care about the unoriginal plot. You cannot reinvent the wheel anyways. In Kiss Me Again they also had the most cliche BL plot you can think of. But the execution was much better. DBK is just boring. I‘m a TayNew fan, but this is too much.
Since HIStory2, writers know the boundary of consent, which sets itself apart from other Thai dramas.
Please, just stop. I'm tired of those complains about TharnType. Just don't watch it. It must be nice being young and having the energy to complain about things over and over again. I decided to drop it after ep 3, so what? It's out of my mind. I will drop DBK most likely too if it doesn't improve. It's really not that serious.

Well, there was a forced kiss without any consent in the last episode. I wouldn't decide the quality of a series just by the consent issue. It's about the characters, how they are written, how they develop etc.
Yep. Some people can't handle the bully thing and some people can't stand the aggressiveness of Sun. That's what…
What makes this so good is that those characters feel real like real people with real issues. Not everyone in real life redeems himself. I can get invested in those characters easily while I have a hard time doing so with other BL shows that air at the moment. This is very raw.

I had no idea those guys are that funny.
