Huang Juan Zhi is heavily underweight. It fits his role (maybe that's why he was casted), but I wonder what's going on in real life. It's a bit frightening. He also looks much older than he is.

Unpopular opinion, but the pace is a bit slow.

When it comes to love scenes and kisses it has to click right with me. It's a combination of good chemistry, plot, characters. I never liked History: Obsessed, because the story was such a mess, but many went crazy over the intense kissing. Talking about Max&Tul: their chemistry is one that you mostly see in their intimate scenes. I feel like if they don't kiss you don't really feel it. The same goes for some other couples. And then again are some couples that don't need to kiss and have lots of chemistry like Pete&Kao, Off&Gun, Tin&Can. But I'm not complaining or judging. It's great if they deliver good kisses like in Boundary Crossing, even though Zach&Fandy didn't have much chemistry.

I never watched LBC, it's just toooo cringy. But I came across Tin&Can on YT, so I only watched their cut. The characters, the story is a bit controversial too, but their chemistry blew my mind. Wasn't expecting that. I don't ship actors in real life, but those two look gorgeous together. Tin looked the whole time like he wanted Can BADLY. Talking about Pete&Kao: you mean that scene on the bed? I laughed so hard when Kao just gave up. When he felt back on the bed, sighed loudly, and then Pete climbed him in a very skillful way LOL. No really, that was hilarious – and hot. I'm really curious what they will show us in Dark Blue Kiss. They will fight, we know as much, I wonder how good their make-up kisses will be :P

Did you watch Tin&Can? Because those two took me by surprise. Very sweet kisses ... Talking about Pete&Kao: That scene in Our Skyy on the bridge was just perfect. I hope we see something like this in the future and I can die happily.

" I couldn't like MaxTul bcz I can't handle that much of lip-sucking it grosses me out no offense." REALLY? I think Max&Tul kisses are the most beautiful I have ever seen in my entire life (like I said above). There is not much french kissing going on either (I just remember that one time where they kissed with tongue). Their lips fit each other just perfectly. Other good kisses I saw lately between Ming&Kit, Forth&Beam (2moons 2), Tin&Can (Love by Chance) – compared to that Pete&Kao have to step up their game for sure. There is a lack of romantic/sexual tension between them, but I'm not criticizing it at all. I just highly doubt they will deliver "hot" love scenes. Still their special kind of chemistry makes up for it and creates a lot of emotional tension. Because of that tension every kiss is somehow great. I'm not comparing though. But it's pretty obvious to me that their chemistry is "different". I don't know about any other BL couple with that kind of relationship in real life.

I rather doubt they are able to deliver in their love scenes (if there will be any) the same intimacy and sexual tension like Max&Tul. But that doesn't matter to me. I love them the way they are.

It's a different kind of chemistry. You cannot compare the one with the other. Pete&Kao are feeling very at ease with each other and are close in a way none of the other mentioned couple are. I remember that funny interview of Max&Tul, where Max was telling that story when they bought ice cream and Tul wanted to Try Max‘ ice cream, but Max was licking all around it and so Tul complained. So Max answered: We kissed so many times and you're grossed out by my saliva? LOL That came immediately to my mind when I saw New eating ice cream (and licking all around it), then Tay took it from his hand and was eating it like it was nothing.

But I 100% understand why people don't feel the chemistry. They are more like (twin) brothers, not like lovers. I lately was impressed by the Tin&Can chemistry. There is some sexual tension! There is none between Pete&Kao, but still it's very enjoyable to see how close they are and how much they treasure and love each other. Don't be deceived by the interviews they are giving lately. They look more distant, because they want avoid the drama, but you can still see that in reality nothing changed between them.

I love Max&Tul though. They are my favorite BL couple. Nobody in this world kisses more beautifully than those two (doesn't matter man/man, man/woman, woman/woman).

If I think about forced acting Jake Hsu's acting in Trapped comes to my mind :(

BL fans are quick to throw words around like "abusive". But nobody thought that relationship was toxic? Third got constantly hurt by Kai who behaved like an asshole. Kai had no idea about Third's feelings for him, but even as a friend his behavior was terrible. And Third didn't call him out, because he didn't want to lose him? This was a very dependent personality we witnessed here. And people find that romantic and realistic? It really must have to do with the popularity of Off&Gun.

It's really enjoyable so far. I'm impressed. The humor is working for me too.

Well, I thought about it. It's just that I'm very sensitive to those characters who are extremely nice. It's so fake. The "extra" reminds me so much of the robot in "Are you human too?" and I'm still not over the fact that everyone was smitten by the robot while the human was the real hero. Talking about Kyung: he doesn‘t have it easy either and I can understand why he hated her so much and behaved like a dick. While the other guy is just smiling like an angel the whole time. Sigh ...

This series somehow reminds me of Addicted/Heroin. It's raw and casual and doesn't seem so "staged".

Then I'm watching the wrong dramas for sure ...

I cannot be the only one who is rooting for Kyung. It just annoys me that the heroine in Korean Drama is always getting together with the super perfect guy who has no flaws and no personality except for being extremely nice. I'm honestly thinking about dropping it, because I'm not interested in the romance with the "extra".

And it must be nice for the actors to hear you're too ugly for a main role. Jesus ...!

The acting feels pretty natural or is it just me? I wasn’t looking forward to this at all, but now I’m excited.

I'm not a fan of ToL. I would hate it with a passion if not for Gun and Off who are two sweethearts. Off's character was unbearable to watch for me and Gun's character wasn't any better. I really am a bit confused why so many love it and don't find any fault with it? Especially because BL fans are so critical ...

I cannot comment on the story, didn't understand a thing without subtitles, but when I heard they complained about actors not looking good enough I suspected they were talking about Huang Juan Zhi LOL. I must admit I would fall for such a guy immediately. There is something about him ... mostly his gaze. He could be less skinny though, that's true. After watching the first two episodes, he is my favorite for sure.

I liked the polyamorous part of the story (we don't see that often), but the action part was a mess. Everything just happened somehow. It was also very easy to dislike the characters. Shin (Tay) being an exception. But many seem to praise the series. So what do I know? :P MorkSun look interesting though. I now remember you mentioned on the Dark Blue Kiss site that you're not excited for TayNew ...
