Don't know about the second season, but the first one was cringy as hell. No idea why so many liked it. I'm trying season 2 now. Hopefully it's better ...

I don't have high hopes. Pete&Kao story in Kiss Me Again was one cliche after another. They did well where other stories failed (for example the girlfriend issue was resolved pretty fast), still it was the same old plot. If they could come up with something new, this would be great. But judging by the trailer this will be about acceptance, outing and jealousy like we have seen it before many times.

They are extremely close. It reminds me of some kind of twin brother relationship, but I guess that's just me.

The quality of BL stories in Asia isn't that great to begin with. They are very open about Gay love and get a lot of international fans, but the stories itself are full of cliches and questionable plots. Like Heroin/Addicted which was such a HUGE success. The novel is terrible written, the plot pretty disgusting. Lately I thought about it, that those BL stories are sooo similar. Guy falls in love with other guy, gay-panic, a girlfriend appears, coming-out-issues, bullying or typical top-bottom-cliches. I'm not complaining, but they should come up with something more original already. In Theory of Love we had again a weak "bottom" which is very submissive and lots of (emotional) violence he had to endure in the name of love. If not for the chemistry between the actors, I wouldn't even watch those series.

Oh Jesus ... I have only seen him in Waterboys and Kiss Me Again, where he played two very different characters and did a good job. But Love Beyond Frontier ... oh Jesus. I think it's not fair to judge an actor, because of ONE bad acting job, because I know several Korean Actors that are incredible talented and also had this ONE drama, where their acting was atrocious. Sometimes the director or scriptwriter is to blame. But well ... oh Jesus. Krist's acting in this show is also unbearable to watch. What were they thinking? Terrible show. It physically hurt to watch this.

Who is ahead of everyone? The Japanese? I must admit I'm an anime fan for almost 20 years, but never watched much of their dramas. Can you suggest some with BL content or gender bender?

Taiwan is trying to do something different like they did with "Trapped", but it seems local fans were hating on it. So back to the old stuff, I guess.

But YuZhou is gone, unfortunately. I was never a fan of their story either. Addicted/Heroin had a very toxic and questionable plot. Still those two were incredible. The only BL actors I ever shipped in real life (I normally don't do that). There was undoubtedly something special about them.

Tay&New have the advantage of a better told story (also compared to Knock&Korn who's relationship just never seem to work). Their natural acting, their incredible chemistry ... with some good kissing they would make it really big. But I don't know if the couple has any future either. It seems especially New isn't that interested in BL roles anymore.

We will see ... Still those two are the only ones (after the YouZhou couple) I enjoy stalking on YouTube :P

I feel this whole shipping culture is going downhill. There is so much drama and so many "couples" that break up ... The industry is to blame. They are just going too far with all that fan service.

Well, it's not like their BL stories are original. The plot is ALWAYS the same. I'm here for the BL, don't get me wrong, but let's be honest for a moment ...

What is he lacking? There are so many (young) actors out there who’s acting is rather awkward, but New‘s acting feels very natural. A reason why I enjoy watching him.

Bisexuality isn't popular AT ALL. In BL dramas if one guy has a girlfriend he doesn't even kiss her on screen, because the fans don't want to see that. Reminds me of Together With Me where Knock had not even one kiss with Pleng. A relationship between 3 people is clearly something for the niche market. I guess BL fans watch it for the BL content anyways and get disappointed. I'm a sucker for such relationships though, but the series as a whole isn't to my liking. Regarding people thinking Shin gets used: He seems to be the only one with genuine feelings. He is in love with Neo. Neo seem to care about both, but I don't think there is any love involved. Same goes for Miw. Shin seems to be no match for the other two character-wise. He is too innocent and good. It really looks like they play with him.

I'm just here to say the kiss in ep 6 was incredible. I'm still speechless and repeating it nonstop. Beautiful scene, beautiful music, beautiful Tay.

I honestly don't care much about kissing scenes. Their interactions are exciting enough. The kiss scene in Our Skyy was really great and the one in the pool in Kiss Me Again was well directed. I’m more concerned about the story. Hopefully they don't mess it up.

I was talking about Tay&New. They have a very strange relationship going on. Hot and cold at the same time. They bicker like an old married couple and have some serious fights. Then again they are always together and friends for more than 6 years. They have very different personalities that complement each other well. They don't do any fan service either. Everything sweet or intimate we witness is real.

I don't know much about GunOff unfortunately. I like them, but their relationship doesn't seem that interesting to me. I don't care if BL actors are a couple in real life or not. I care about interactions and dynamics.

If you like OffGun then have you seen OffGunFunNights? Ep 8 and 9 is with Tay and New. There is a lot of stuff about them on YouTube with subtitles. The fandom seems very passionate. Their relationship is pretty complex. It took me a while to understand what's going on between those two LOL. But OffGunFunNights is a good start I think.

In real life TayNew are much closer than anybody else mentioned. I discovered those two some weeks ago. Don't know how much you have seen of them, but believe me, they are incredible.

If the fandom only cares about who delivers the best fan service and the hottest kisses, they will lose. But if they care about chemistry, sweetness, fun and real affection TayNew will make it big.

Same. I have high hopes for Dark Blue Kiss. This couple has so much potential. A good storyline, a good relationship, funny and sweet, no unnecessary drama, no cheesy sadness ... It's very natural and feels "real".

There are several explanations like other people pointed out, but I'm not a fan that the viewer is somehow supposed to come to those conclusions by himself. I had to rewatch some parts to understand how and why Neo and Shin knew each other. This was just not explained very well. Still, Shins reaction to everything that happened feels strange.

Don't know what to think about his. Normally such a series would be my cup of tea, but ... well. The 3 lead actors are all great (I have a weak spot for Tay), the production value is high, the story has potential, but something is just not clicking right with me. It's hard to get into it. It's too easy to dislike the characters. I don't root for anybody here. There are also some aspects of the story I don't think are plausible at all like Mae's transformation from a weak transgender woman to someone who hunts down the killers of her dead boyfriend. Or how Shin gets dragged along for whatever reason. Also, if I would be on the run, I would behave differently. They seem so clueless. Everything is just happening somehow. The flashback episode of Shin and Neo was beautiful though.
