I keep saying this is a show to binge watch and that's true. I rewatched all episodes over the weekend and must admit I missed A LOT of things. I was skeptical about the last two episodes, but they fit the storyline perfectly. I'm now more excited than EVER.
Am I the only one worried that they won't properly develop Jack and Zhaozi's relationship? It's just 6 episodes…
I think there is not much to develop to be honest. We will learn more about Jack in the next two episodes and well, that was it. We know enough about Zhaozi. Their characters aren't that complex after all. It seems they like each other and yeah ... why not being together? LOL
The rating will drop after the show ends. That's how it usually goes. BL dramas usually got high rating so I think…
The rating will drop for sure. I have a feeling even the people who now defend the show will be not that happy in the long run. I wouldn't be surprised if the mood changes sooner or later.
I think their chemistry was better when they weren‘t together lol
I think Shao Fei is the most credible police officer LOL. Kenny behaves like a 10 years old, the boss is so over the top, the police girl is annoying and the rest is hopeless. And then they talk about how dangerous their life is ... like they could die any day! It's a miracle they are still alive! LOL
I think their chemistry was better when they weren‘t together lol
I must say I have faith in Jake. Him being "awkward" is very well done. Shao Fei's role got a lot of criticism from the beginning, but this character really grew on me. We will see ...
I make a living with writing fiction novels and I started my writing career with BL stories. I gave up, because…
The problem is the market is too small. There is a reason why those series are mostly low budget. And if the market is small, you don't have so much freedom. I'm German and if you sell 5000 BL novels, you have written a bestseller LMAO. If you write a crime story or hetero story you sell much more, at least up to 30.000 - 50.000. More people, more opinions, more freedom and a higher probability to please a big audience. Those BL fans are like a very narrow minded community. One step in the wrong direction and they will curse you LOL. That said, I must admit, I'm not 100% happy with Trapped, but I'm a bit biased too. I dream FOR YEARS of such a series. A series that is about more than boys falling in love. I continue saying this is the right direction to go in the future, but if fans don't like it, then well, it's over.
It‘s nice to see that people on this site are loving the show so much, but I have a baaaaaad feeling about the remaining episodes LOL *fingers crossed*
"Honestly, I expected Shao Fei to be the one giving the beating." I didn't. I have some issues with this episode,…
You said you were expecting him giving the beating. It was not a life or death situation when Shao Fei entered the scene. And to answer your question: I would not beat anybody out of anger. Never. That‘s not the kind of person I am. But my mother would LOL. I could imagine her killing somebody. No joke. Not everybody is the same. There is NO situation where everybody on this planet reacts the same.
I heard that the series getting a lot of bashing still.... Hope the actors and directors don't be too frustrated…
I make a living with writing fiction novels and I started my writing career with BL stories. I gave up, because it's EXTREMELY frustrating to please BL fans. I'm still in contact with some BL writers and I see how they constantly struggle. The most frustrating thing is, that you cannot improve yourself and your writing, because there are certain expectation you have to meet. So if you try out something new or something controversial, they will hate it. As a BL writer you're forced to do the same stuff over and over again. This whole situation reminds me of myself some years ago when I had to please my audience and miserably failed. I now write different stories and improved a lot as a writer. But in this kind of genre it's almost impossible to grow. Sad enough. On a side note: I have a feeling like the reactions will get worse. There is a lot of angst to come and people will not be pleased.
wohhhh...YiYi is wearing ear studs..love it...guess he is now dolling himself up since now he got a boyfriend......I…
There is a reason why the BL genre is the way it is. People (mostly heterosexual women) like it that way. I'm not surprised that this series gets some hate. Hopefully the final reaction will be positive, otherwise we won't see such series in the future and have to go back to our typical BL romance where cute boys fall in love and do cute things in places where everyone and his dog is gay and has no problem with it LOL.
Piece of my mind on episode 14 :I think Shao Fei's reaction towards Tang Yi was freaking bad, since not even a…
"Honestly, I expected Shao Fei to be the one giving the beating." I didn't. I have some issues with this episode, but I never expected Shao Fei to lose his calm. This would have been terrible. I expected him to be rational in such a tense situation. Not letting Tang Yi kill that guy, was the right decision. Beating him instead of Tang Yi? Seriously? Imagine Shao Fei beating that guy out of anger while the guy cannot defend himself ... Honestly, that would be stupid and doesn't fit his character at all.
YouDirtyWater: Could you stop with that childish behavior and unblock me? Whatever ... I have heard the second…
Those brothers were really rushed. I never understood why so many liked that couple. And that confession ... it just happened and then they were together and happy and Fandy was sulking, because his love life didn't work out so easily LOL. Talking about Trapped: I don't think the bed scene of the 2nd couple will be this intense, but then again Kenny used tongue *dirty thoughts* LMAO.
That said, I must admit, I'm not 100% happy with Trapped, but I'm a bit biased too. I dream FOR YEARS of such a series. A series that is about more than boys falling in love. I continue saying this is the right direction to go in the future, but if fans don't like it, then well, it's over.
