"The motivation. Like we got so many backstories with Tang Yi and we got nothing from Shaofei." I didn't expect them showing us Shao Fei's family (lol), but because Tang Yi gets so much background, I really started to get curious about Shao Fei's life. But yeah, they didn't show us much.

I guess the second couple has a big following, because they are cute. This is enough for people to get interested in them. I don't dislike them, but yeah ... a foodie and a mysterious guy? There could have been much more about them, of course, and then I would root for them too. Still I think people like them and saw potential mostly because the actors are attractive and cute. This is just not a good enough reason for me personally to get into a pairing. I would have preferred they wouldn't have inserted that couple in the first place. I liked the hetero couple much more – unpopular opinion, I know.

At the end of the day, it's just a series. I don't get why they are so emotional and hateful.

"It felt like a completely different series." Yeah, I thought the same. The first half was full of comedy and silly scenes. The second half is just drama, flashback, and drama (which I don't really mind, there were some great and very emotional scenes). The relationship between the main couple developed VERY slowly at first (I really enjoyed that) but then suddenly everything went so fast. Honestly, how long are Shao Fei and Tang Yi even together? Three days? LOL There was that beautiful scene at the end of ep 12 (where they touched each other). In the next scene they were arguing, then there was the birthday cake scene and then Ah De died (which nobody seems too concerned about) and since then it's just a ride to hell and back. Most of their scenes show Tang Yi having trouble containing his anger and Shao Fei yelling "Tang Yi" (he really does that too often) and trying to hold him back. I just want to see them being in a relationship and figuring things out. Not that I care that much about hot scenes or first times. But was that scene in ep 17 their first time? I guess not. I'm lost here. And now Shao Fei is AGAIN in the hospital? How will they solve all of this in merely 40 minutes? They really should have balanced this out better.
I'm not a fan of the second couple, but after the last episode I really thought I would like to see how this relationship turns out. But well, only two episode left.
"We don't even know why he's so hellbent on knowing what happened four years ago" You mean Shao Fei? He is invested in this case, because his senior died back then and it was said the women was involved with gangs what he didn't want to believe.

Not a fan of the last episode. Only 14 minutes long again. In the first half of the series (until ep 10) they had so many unnecessary scenes like Shao Fei getting jealous and all those men who wanted a piece of Tang Yi. And now, that the closure is near, I feel like they are running out of time. If the next episode will be again 34 minutes and the last one only 14 minutes ... well ... I think like there could be so much more about the characters and their relationship. It feels like their story is just starting. Don't know how they will be able to pull off a satisfying ending.

I don't think we will learn much more about the foster dad. He wasn't so fond of adopting a child, but did it anyways to make his wife happy. Then the wife died and this was apparently very hard for him. So he directed all those negative emotions to Tang Yi. Shit happens.

I wonder why Tang Yi wanted Chen (Cheng? I'm bad with Chinese names) to come back. He killed that other guy who did drug business with Chen only to force him to come back. It was said several times that Tang Yi waited for this moment. I assumed Chen would be the one responsible for Sir Tang's and the police lady's death and that Tang Yi wanted revenge. After all Tang Yi should know about the killer. He was on the scene ... But well, there goes my theory ...

Honestly, WHO was responsible for the death of the police officer and Sir Tang 4 years ago? Even Tang Yi was shot back then. Did I miss something? Was it the police? Because I thought it would be Chen, but I guess not. There is much more to come. Chen knew about the child, why were they lying to him?

Trapped has a great story. If people cannot see it they most likely didn't pay enough attention. Those people are so stupid. It almost makes me angry. Watching it for the awesome actors? Great. Fetishizing Gay love is always something to be proud of. I would be ashamed for bashing such a show.

I thought Chinese fans wanted to stop watching the show after ep 14? So stupid ...

It feels like you're not allowed to express your opinion. THAT'S what's giving me "awkward vibes". Like really ... I love her and find her extremely charming and sassy. They grew up together and have a rather unique history, so I have no problem with her being affectionate towards him.

Creating a website with a lot of upload space that can handle all the traffic (I guess after he posts a video hundreds of people are clicking on it simultaneously) is NOT cheap. I don't know about the forum mentioned, but I can imagine there were some limitations too.

I don't know about those fans ... like really ... the problem is that ONE person on the internet may have an opinion and then some other people repeat it and suddenly it's a thing. If it's necessary for the plot, no scene is "bad". This is such an immature opinion. The problem with the internet is, that every opinion is weighted the same. You don't know who those people are who write those things. Maybe they are pretty young and know nothing about the real world? Maybe they are some delusional hardcore fujoshis who live in their BL bubble where rape is romantic as long the characters are hot? I'm not sure if this scene was really necessary and how it will be important for the plot. But that's no reason to hate it. At least international fans are more open minded. I feel bad for the actor who seems to be a really chill and funny person. Imagine people are complaining that you're not beautiful enough to rape somebody. Jesus! My biggest concern is, that this just makes the whole fan base look stupid. Who would even try to make a "serious" BL series if people cannot appreciate it? This is such a big step back and I'm disappointed.
