Id also like to express my opinion here... i think its a well written drama since it portrayed a real life situation...…
I don‘t know... what I have seen Gun got constantly hurt by Off and still was unable to just let it go. I will admit I have a hard time watching such characters. Off didn‘t redeem himself either until later I guess. I had such unpleasant feelings watching this ... Normally I enjoy realistic situations like in Together With Me Next Chapter, but this just wasn’t for me ...
Ohooooo beating MaxTul?That will be hard! :DJust look at their insta!
Regarding kissing scenes and intimacy nobody can beat Max &Tul. But New&Tay with their bickering are something else on another level. Those two are seriously crazy and give me anxiety. The sweetness, the teasing, the fights ...!
This was one of the worst written dramas I have seen in a while. Not a big fan of Gun and Off either, but I would still watch a better written drama with those two. They are pretty charming. No idea why they didn’t get a better story. Aren‘t they one of the most popular BL couples out there?
Those two (New & Tay) have a strange thing going on in real life. If they play their cards right, they will rule over the whole BL kingdom. Even beating Max&Tul and the YouZhou couple from Addicted/Heroin.
Agree with you about Tay...the latest episode proved that Tay has amazing development as actor, mild I can't comment…
I don't think that actors "develop" that much. Most of them are good (or bad) from the beginning. It has a lot to do with the role they get. I'm glad Tay got a good role in a well produced drama where he can show his talent.
If this hate is really as bad as people say then I'm very concerned about the future of BL. It seems Chris got hateful comments after episode 8 or 9 too when Tang Yi pushed Shao Fei after the argument he had with Hong Ye. Imagine you're an actor who is passionate about his craft and you get asked if you want to act in a BL series. I would say: HELL NO! Because it's only expected from you to act cute and lovey dovey with your co-star and to have hot scenes with him. You cannot even have an argument with him anymore! Imagine a character has a rather violent background and hits his co-star for whatever reason. People would riot. This is devastating. I feel sorry for the actors. They must feel like their audience is braindead and unable to appreciate their work. Even though I'm not 100% happy with the acting in Trapped, it's obvious those guys are taking their job very serious and did their best. I just wish the script would be better. If this is the credit they get for their work, we will be back to pretty faces who cannot act, because what kind of "real" actor would want to act in such a series?
Zhao Zi's and Jack's emotion got me good in the trailer ...Even though i'm positive about a happy ending ,i can't…
If the series sells well, maybe there is a chance for season 2. At the end of the day only numbers decide about the success. I feel like there could be so much more about both couples ... The series has its flaws, but there is a lot of potential. Also, if some fans behave so crazy, that means that this series is able to evoke such a strong emotional reaction. That says a lot ... Imagine everyone would be indifferent about it. That would be much worse.
I came here to say how much I was liking this story just to read there are people hating on it just because there…
"HIStory series" to me just keeps getting better and better – I thought most of the HIStory series were enjoyable, but none of it was perfect. People behave like the bar is set high after the previous seasons. Really? All of them had a plot far from perfect, lots of silly scenes and acting that wasn't always so convincing.
I am here just wanting to check if spoiler for next week has come out. Sad to hear that the director receive a…
I think the problem is that people were expecting something different. I don't know who is spreading those rumors. I think this time the actors themselves described the "bed scene" in the wrong way. Chris even apologized for it (which he shouldn't). I too was surprised that there was no detailed scene, because people were talking about it everywhere. This reminds me of TWM: Next chapter where I heard there should be a very steamy scene on a balcony and well, there was none. People are looking forward to this kind of stuff. I thought the "bed scene" in ep 17 was very romantic and beautiful. One of my favorite scenes of the series. But we all know SEX SELLS. Look at some YT channels that post BL stuff. If there is a couple half naked in the thumbnail, the number of views is higher.
I have not seen episodes 17-18 due to the drama that has been going on with Adam losing his page, others trying…
Exactly. The internet went crazy in the last years. There is hate everywhere. On YouTube, Facebook etc. Everything is black and white. You hate something or you love it. On this site it happens too sometimes. Even though I like the show, I also thought about waiting until it comes to Viki. I need a break. This is so exhausting. Of course the creators will get discouraged and we will not see such series in the future. That's what some people want. Though it seems the show is selling well. Fan meetings are sold out in no time etc. Maybe the whole drama is a bit exaggerated, because some people are just behaving like spoiled brats.
The limited novels were sold out in a minute today. People who love it just love it.
Glad to hear this. All the negativity is so exhausting. I feel like the internet went crazy in the last couple of years. Negativity everywhere. On every platform. Don't know why the whole world is so frustrated.
It's the other way around. They complain that there was NO bed scene. Also the second couple doesn't have enough…
People nowadays are so demanding. Be glad such a series exist and if you don't like it, don't watch it. They behave like the creators have an obligation to please every single one of them. It's also funny how Chinese fans hate Trapped, but went crazy about Heroin/Addicted. That series had a very questionable plot.

I don't know Mandarin and have no idea what's going on. But I wonder if maybe there is just a minority that's unhappy. Sometimes a handful of people is enough to cause such an outrage.
Okay. What backlash? I don't see anything in ep 18 or 17 that requires people being so nasty she has to delete…
It's the other way around. They complain that there was NO bed scene. Also the second couple doesn't have enough screen time. Overall they are unhappy with the relationships as far as I know.
If you all have an Instagram and Facebook etc & have a moment to spare, it would be really good to leave positive…
I read the whole post. Thank you for sharing. I wonder how old those people are who post such hateful comments. I mean, as an adult, there are other things in your life you can be concerned about. This is so sad and ridiculous ...
The director said that the maximum duration LineTv set for them per week's episode is 45 minutes. Hence, why the…
I don't mind the subplot of the boss and I really enjoyed the hetero couple. What I like the most about Trapped is that they show us much more than just BL love. Still they focused on the wrong things. I honestly wonder if some better editing or cutting would have done the trick. They should have showed us more about the "gangster plot" in the first half, then come to a conclusion around maybe episode 16 and then show us what happens next. Looking back there were many repetitive scenes throughout the series like Shao Fei following Tang Yi around and asking him always the same questions, Shao Fei talking with his boss several times (not giving up on the case), some silly comedy scenes with Zhao Zi (once he almost had a heart attack lol), the scenes with Andy of course (completely unnecessary), the scene with the doctor (even more unnecessary). Talking about Andy: when all three men were fighting over Tang Yi, Andy was there, because he told him who tried to kill him. I only got that when I rewatched the scene. This is one example where the "gangster plot" was completely overshadowed by some silly comedy. Still in the next episodes we didn't knew who that guy was. Hang He (or how he is called?). Like I said, I feel they should have put together the scenes better. There are many great scenes in the series, but they feel disconnected. Even if you binge watch the show, it doesn't "flow" right.

"Are they trying to show how popular Tang Yi is with the guys that pretty much almost everyone has a crush on him?" What I really wanted to see about the main couple was how their relationship will work out. You have a very charismatic, self-confident, but also dangerous and cold, bisexual gang leader who seems to have lots of admirers and a rather dorky police officer with not much experience in love. Will someone like Tang Yi be loyal? Can you have a serious relationship with him? I really enjoyed that scene in ep 12 when Tang Yi told Shao Fei he should try to seduce him. But later on the "gangster storyline" just took over. Suddenly it all became so dramatic and like 陳廷軒 said, the whole relationship was reduced to Shao Fei being emotional support for Tang Yi. I didn't saw that coming in that extent. In general I enjoyed that development a lot (Shao Fei being the strong one), but it was just a bit too much. Especially considering that there are only two episode left with lots of tears I guess (Shao Fei being in the hospital). Sigh ...
