She/he/they is writing a lot of comments. Sometimes you wanna respond and YOU CAN'T, because you're blocked. This is so childish, immature, annoying and honestly arrogant of her/him/whatever. It feels like you're not allowed to express your opinion. THAT'S what's giving me "awkward vibes". Like really ... I bet the person is politically left-oriented and then she is shutting you off like this. The irony is hilarious. But I'm not surprised ...

I love her and find her extremely charming and sassy. They grew up together and have a rather unique history, so I have no problem with her being affectionate towards him.

I don't know about those fans ... like really ... the problem is that ONE person on the internet may have an opinion and then some other people repeat it and suddenly it's a thing. If it's necessary for the plot, no scene is "bad". This is such an immature opinion. The problem with the internet is, that every opinion is weighted the same. You don't know who those people are who write those things. Maybe they are pretty young and know nothing about the real world? Maybe they are some delusional hardcore fujoshis who live in their BL bubble where rape is romantic as long the characters are hot? I'm not sure if this scene was really necessary and how it will be important for the plot. But that's no reason to hate it. At least international fans are more open minded. I feel bad for the actor who seems to be a really chill and funny person. Imagine people are complaining that you're not beautiful enough to rape somebody. Jesus! My biggest concern is, that this just makes the whole fan base look stupid. Who would even try to make a "serious" BL series if people cannot appreciate it? This is such a big step back and I'm disappointed.

I keep saying this is a show to binge watch and that's true. I rewatched all episodes over the weekend and must admit I missed A LOT of things. I was skeptical about the last two episodes, but they fit the storyline perfectly. I'm now more excited than EVER.

I think there is not much to develop to be honest. We will learn more about Jack in the next two episodes and well, that was it. We know enough about Zhaozi. Their characters aren't that complex after all. It seems they like each other and yeah ... why not being together? LOL

The rating will drop for sure. I have a feeling even the people who now defend the show will be not that happy in the long run. I wouldn't be surprised if the mood changes sooner or later.

I think Shao Fei is the most credible police officer LOL. Kenny behaves like a 10 years old, the boss is so over the top, the police girl is annoying and the rest is hopeless. And then they talk about how dangerous their life is ... like they could die any day! It's a miracle they are still alive! LOL

I must say I have faith in Jake. Him being "awkward" is very well done. Shao Fei's role got a lot of criticism from the beginning, but this character really grew on me. We will see ...

On a side note: Do you know how they get money for this series? I feel like it is pretty popular despite the harsh criticism.

The problem is the market is too small. There is a reason why those series are mostly low budget. And if the market is small, you don't have so much freedom. I'm German and if you sell 5000 BL novels, you have written a bestseller LMAO. If you write a crime story or hetero story you sell much more, at least up to 30.000 - 50.000. More people, more opinions, more freedom and a higher probability to please a big audience. Those BL fans are like a very narrow minded community. One step in the wrong direction and they will curse you LOL.
That said, I must admit, I'm not 100% happy with Trapped, but I'm a bit biased too. I dream FOR YEARS of such a series. A series that is about more than boys falling in love. I continue saying this is the right direction to go in the future, but if fans don't like it, then well, it's over.
