This is way way less than the others in this series called History...i think they don't have chemistry or something…
"He doens't look like a police man" Jake Hsu looks very young (and that goofy behavior!), but in fact he is 28 years old. I would never have guessed. Asian have baby faces. My first impression was too: those kids are playing gangster and police? You have to look at the character a bit more in detail then you will (hopefully see) that he is pretty capable. It's more that the whole surrounding (that police woman, the boss, the other police men) are not that convincing. At least for me. But it's (in my eyes) a minor criticism that doesn't make me enjoy the series any less.
On a side note: Old History series weren't that great. I feel like there is some kind of perceptual error going on. Maybe because back then those series were so refreshing. Boundary Crossing was the best in my humble opinion, but the story and the acting weren't that captivating compared to Trapped.
@YouDirtyWater: Well, you blocked me, so I cannot respond to you. But it seems they are not releasing a trailer this week, so the anticipation from fans will be bigger. It also seems because fans could guess the storyline based on the previews, the director of the series decided this time to make them misleading. All rumors though.
Let me tell you the easiest way to solve your problems - Just stop watching it already!! if you think SOMETHING…
Not everyone can like everything even though you make some good points here. I for example am very disgusted by Game of Thrones while many others think it's the best TV series ever made. I guess you could write a similar list for GoT and It wouldn't change my mind at all. That said, I had no idea Guardian is considered a popular BL. I didn't even know it was BL!
Yes he got me with those lines, I was in my room like "Damn Shao Fei, get yo man boo"
Everything about this last scene was incredible. Tang Yi is like a wall Shao Fei has to climb and so cocky. The teasing, the bickering, but then he touches Shao Fei and he is just so sweet and tender. I really loved how Jake Hsu‘s impression changed in this scene. To bad Tang Yi couldn‘t see it. This was great acting. I wonder why the biggest Hollywood stars cannot create that kind of scenes. Asian drama are just so much better when it comes to emotion and love scenes (BL and hetero).

And that look on his face when Tang Yi came to give him his answer (the kiss). Damn! Great acting from Jake Hsu. You could see how afraid he was Tang Yi would reject him. How his smile vanished and how the disappointment took over ..
Is nobody talking about Shao Fei? In ep 11 that scream after the kiss ... It obviously took him a lot of courage to kiss Tang Yi, but he did it anyways, because he is willing to fight for his love and refuses to chicken out. He is really brave and so damn bold. "Do I have to get in line to touch your body" or "Testing a product before placing the order"? Imagine getting it on with a character like Tang Yi that is so hard to approach, but he is doing it. "It's my own business that I'm into you. I do have to work harder if I want you to love me." Come on! Such great lines. I wasn't expecting that at all. Those characters are brilliantly written. This made me think about real life which is just so damn boring. What you get in real life if you invest in love is just so bland and not worth the effort.
I don't think your issue is with the actors, it's with the writing. I cannot imagine Andy pulling off a character…
??? Wasn’t I saying the exact same thing? Andy has not the vibe (how you call it) to play Shao Fei unless you imagine this role was written differently.
I watched the 11 episodes in one go and I don't know what to think of this series yet. Something is definitely…
I don't think your issue is with the actors, it's with the writing. I cannot imagine Andy pulling off a character like Shao Fei. So they should have changed the writing/characters. I love them the way they are though.
This episode took me 4 hours to watch. Two for downloading it, and two for finally watching it, because I had to pause every ten seconds. This was just too much to take in at once.
I've seen some comments about how they think it's too fast for them to have taken that step...B*sh please! These…
I thought the love confessions in ep 11 was a bit surprising. I know what the authors intended: Shao Fai almost died, so Tang Yi finally understood how import he is for him. But after the painfully slow pace I wasn't expecting this kind of development. About the horizontal mambo (lol): I'm glad they behave like adults. What's there to wait for? Should they go on a date before doing it? Like in Korean drama to an amusement park? Haha.

„I‘m attracted to you.“
„Ha?“
Am I the only one who laughed out loud?
