It‘s nice to see that people on this site are loving the show so much, but I have a baaaaaad feeling about the remaining episodes LOL *fingers crossed*

You said you were expecting him giving the beating. It was not a life or death situation when Shao Fei entered the scene. And to answer your question: I would not beat anybody out of anger. Never. That‘s not the kind of person I am. But my mother would LOL. I could imagine her killing somebody. No joke. Not everybody is the same. There is NO situation where everybody on this planet reacts the same.

I make a living with writing fiction novels and I started my writing career with BL stories. I gave up, because it's EXTREMELY frustrating to please BL fans. I'm still in contact with some BL writers and I see how they constantly struggle. The most frustrating thing is, that you cannot improve yourself and your writing, because there are certain expectation you have to meet. So if you try out something new or something controversial, they will hate it. As a BL writer you're forced to do the same stuff over and over again. This whole situation reminds me of myself some years ago when I had to please my audience and miserably failed. I now write different stories and improved a lot as a writer. But in this kind of genre it's almost impossible to grow. Sad enough. On a side note: I have a feeling like the reactions will get worse. There is a lot of angst to come and people will not be pleased.

There is a reason why the BL genre is the way it is. People (mostly heterosexual women) like it that way. I'm not surprised that this series gets some hate. Hopefully the final reaction will be positive, otherwise we won't see such series in the future and have to go back to our typical BL romance where cute boys fall in love and do cute things in places where everyone and his dog is gay and has no problem with it LOL.

"Honestly, I expected Shao Fei to be the one giving the beating." I didn't. I have some issues with this episode, but I never expected Shao Fei to lose his calm. This would have been terrible. I expected him to be rational in such a tense situation. Not letting Tang Yi kill that guy, was the right decision. Beating him instead of Tang Yi? Seriously? Imagine Shao Fei beating that guy out of anger while the guy cannot defend himself ... Honestly, that would be stupid and doesn't fit his character at all.

Be patient. I‘m getting a bit anxious here. I feel like they will mess it up for some reason ... lol ... hopefully I‘m wrong ...

It's true, he lived there. I guess he had the keys ;P I just didn't expect him appearing in the room all of a sudden LOL

Those brothers were really rushed. I never understood why so many liked that couple. And that confession ... it just happened and then they were together and happy and Fandy was sulking, because his love life didn't work out so easily LOL. Talking about Trapped: I don't think the bed scene of the 2nd couple will be this intense, but then again Kenny used tongue *dirty thoughts* LMAO.

Whatever ... I have heard the second couple has a bed scene. That's pretty hard to imagine at the moment considering there is not much development. In Boundary Crossing the second couple didn't even have a real kiss.

Talking about the kiss ... is it just me or was the audio off? Their smooching sounds didn't fit their lip movements. Even while they were fooling around (joking, talking) it didn't fit. Like you put a song over the kissing, they put smooching and talking sounds over it. Sorry for my bad explanation, but that really bothered me.

And then they loved Addicted (like you pointed out above)? LMAO. Addicted/Heroin was such a big hit in China ... The scene itself wasn't bad. I'm just waiting how they will connect all the different plot lines ... Hopefully at the end everything makes sense.

I must admit I didn't see Ah De as "lovable, loyal". There was always something fishy about him. But raping Tang Yi? Can you not keep it in your pants? Like ... I don't know ... If I take a step back, I feel like the whole story is about some not-gone-well love affairs LOL. There is just too much relationship drama going on. I'm pretty sure the officer and gangster that died 4 years ago were a couple too. In such an environment (gangsters/drugs) you would think it's about power and money – and not love lol. But who knows :P

This series is "different". I think we can all agree about that. And creating something "different" is always a risky move. I'm just confused that international fans seem to like it so much and China/Taiwan is hating on it? Strange ...

Good points: Very suspenseful episode. Even without subtitles I was glued to the screen. Lovey dovey scene between Shao Fei/Tang Yi. I really like the pace of their relationship. This feels so "normal" like a normal couple would behave. Also, Shao Fei didn't get hurt (again) thankfully! He is pretty strong and Tang Yi listens to him. Those two are on equal ground.
Disappointing: Why go so far to try to rape him? I feel like Ah De gets too much screen time. Is this now about petty jealousy? Or is this leading to something even worse? Just get rid of him. I wonder what Shao Fei said to Tang Yi when he wanted to punch Ah De.
I'm not a fan of the "food kiss". Just not my cup of tea ...
I agree with you on Hong He and Daoyi. Again: they get too much screen time. I really like those two, but why are their relationship issues so important? Just get together.
