They killed off Park Gyu-young and expect me to find that entertaining? Instead they introduced a bunch of uninteresting…
Didn't Ji-Su say to the priest, that she chose the thread at birth? Which means she will have a long life? I also vaguely remember she told him later it was a lie. Not sure, though. However, I expected her to be one of the few survivors. This was very disappointing.
The biggest difference between s1 and s2 is the lack of depth in the character's writing. In s1 I was immediately hooked and wanted to know about Cha Hyun's fate. I liked his relationship with Lee Eon Yoo. Those two moody teenagers were written very well. I loved her bitchy and difficult behaviour especially towards her brother, but then in the last moment she was crying for her "oppa". Devastating. I loved the brother with his cold attitude, who did his best to save lives, made difficult decisions, and cared deepley for his sister to the very last moment. I loved Jung Jae Heon with his sword who bacame my favorite character very fast. I loved his relationship with Ji Su, and his death was one of the most devastating I have witnessed. I loved the guy in the wheelchair, and how he cared for the children together with the woman who later became a monster too. I loved their story and their fate touched me deeply. I loved the gangster and the girl, and yes, again, their fate was beautiful and sad. The way those characters were written, how the plot evolved around them, and how they had been killed reminded my of The Walking Dead when it was still good back in the early days. Those characters in s1 were one of the best written characters I have seen in any TV series to date. In s2 nothing came even close to this brilliant writing style. The story was intriguing overall, yes, and the new characters were fine, the acting again was extremely good, some good ideas were there too, so I don't hate it at all, but it was by no means a masterpiece. It was just a thrilling and entertaining horror/survival series like some others out there.
Kudos to the production team and actors to make this such a thrilling watch. Because, if you really think about it for one second, nothing makes sense.
I like the new characters, but it seems the writers weren't really invested in the old ones anymore. There aren't many scenes with them, or they got killed off. It's like they just wanted to move on without them. I'm only at ep 4, so maybe some will have a comeback.
WBL is only Taiwanese bl I have seen. how's About Youth? is it as good as wbl?
I so hope they get another series. Incredible chemistry, both actors are beautiful and sexy on their own, very sexy when they are together. Good actors too, especially Louis. Those emotional scenes made me cry. I was never this obsessed before. We just need a good script now, and well ... that's hard to find.
I can't tell you that. Many people are madly in love with 2nd couple (like me), and are bored by the 1st couple, others adore the 1st couple, and can't connect with the 2nd, some love both, and some don't like neither of them ;)
I am not a fan of series that assembly a whole bunch of good looking guys who cannot act with no plot to work…
I like how those guys seem to be just normal well trained guys with a bit too much testosterone. In other BLs they are parading around like some idols with too much make-up on so the viewer can admire their good looks. This feels pretty raw and natural.
Honestly, I'm so used to disappointment, that I don't want to praise this series too much. But it's the best first episode of any BL series I have seen this year.
Don't know the actors, but the guy who plays Tharn is good. You can feel that this guy will do well in emotional scenes.
I was wrong about those two. They are nice together. Not 100% sold on Sea's acting, but Jimmy is fine. Good thing that I'm always open minded, so I gave them a 2nd chance :)
I felt in love with Off and the pairing OffGun in general watching Not Me. Now this ... Seems very ... cute, not serious, silly, cheesy. I don't know. I was hoping for something else.
I am still so confused by this show.......1. All I see is bottoms as far as the eye can see. When are the Alphas…
2. 100% agree Reminds me of Top in Only Friends, the top tier guy everyone wants, and then he had zero charisma, zero integrity, zero balls, and was just overall the most boring guy you can imagine.
I have a hard time getting into this. I feel like the plot is worth watching (at least there seems to be some kind of plot that isn't only about their love life), but the way it's presented it doesn't draw me in, especially since the characters aren't doing it for me. Many complain about the chemistry between the leads and about the actor who plays Charlie, but honestly, even though I love Pavel and I'm digging his acting, the Babe character is the problem too. The character is just ... meh. The top tier sexy guy racing genius or what? I don't feel any connection to this character, he comes across very superficial, and I wonder why I should root for him. He honestly annoys me at this point. And yes, the chemistry is not there. I'm also not a fan of the portrayal of those top/bottom stereotypes, and I'm not talking about sexual positions. Apparantly, Babe is the bottom. But the whole "your boy"- talk is annoying me, like he is Babe's possesion. That's not sexy in my book. Charlie looking like a nerd, and being clumsy is not helping either. I don't like it when there is such a power difference in a relationship, and one of the guys looks like a dog running after his master. The weak skill of the actor is also an issue. I can't connect to him, because their is no depths in his acting. Like someone else already said, the way how he delivers his lines, the sound of his voice is not good. Poor casting, really. I also think I wouldn't like the novel. This reminds me too much of Love In The Air (cars, top/bottom stereotypes), which I didn't like either. But at least the actors had great chemistry and the love scenes were good. Talking about the love scenes in this series: well, I pressed the fast-forward button, because I was so bored.
I'm honestly speechless. What the hell ...?!?! Pavel is back? Why nobody told me, lol. And Omegaverse? Are they all losing their minds now? About the episode: I like Pavel's acting, and everyone else was doing a decent job. But the plot wasn't presented in a way that it draws you in. Between the main leads everything happened too fast, so I assume Charlie is a liar and a traitor and that's the plot. A bit underwhelming, really. Babe will find out, being disappointed, drama, but they love each other. Happy End. Or is it different? Is there a novel? Can someone spoil me? Because if this is really the plot, I will not keep watching. I'm not in the mood for those kind of stories.
okay...uhm 2 episodes further...there seems to be some kind of a plot. But it's seriously all over the place xD…
I liked Trapped a lot and rewatched it two times, just to see if the plot made more sense when you binge the episodes. Nope, it didn't. Very messy. But I watched it, enjoyed it, rewatched it. Kiseki though ... unwatchable for me if not for the 2nd couple. 1st couple is too cheesy, mafia plot is boring und far-fetched, and even though I love Ai Di, that small guy with his colorful clothes is not believable as some hardcore mafia member ;P Whatever ... I wish Louis and Nat get a second series. I liked the acting and chemistry. They did the best with what they got, and that wasn't much.
Haha what story are you expecting here? I mean is it just standard two people meet, two people fall in love, they…
Your typical highschool or college BL is with highschool students and college students, having ordinary lives, falling in love. 3 of the 4 main characters in Kiseki were in the mafia. So they live a rather dangerous life like the guys in Not Me did. There also was some action, there was violence etc. like there was in Not Me. Guys get stabbed and shot. There was potential for a complex plot, but you're right there wasn't any, because the author included the whole mafia background just to make the story more edgy. To sum it up: The genre is more similar to Trapped, Not Me, Manner Of Death (look at the recommandations) than Fish Upon Sky or Bad Buddy.
However, I expected her to be one of the few survivors. This was very disappointing.

It's rare to see so many different opinions.
And Mark is in Last Twilight. Those boys don't take a break, they hop from one show to the other.
Don't know the actors, but the guy who plays Tharn is good. You can feel that this guy will do well in emotional scenes.
Hahaha! That's the spirit!
It's a high quality series after all, so ... let's hope for the best.
