Interestingly enough, I personally find Vee's character to be portrayed as the worse person out of the two. I…
Vee is sure not the good guy. But there were several scenes where we saw that he really cared for Mark. As far as I remember he was very shallow and hard to like in the first series. He seems more sweet and more expressive in the remake. Yin improved his acting a lot, maybe that's why. Mark on the other hand is an annoying brat. But well, we will see where this goes. I'm optimistic.

Talking about the sex scene: They could have explained better why Vee suddenly felt like doing it with his junior who he didn't seem to like at all, lol. That was so out of the blue.

I'm still surprised that this is so well received. The production is great, the acting too, but we all knew the plot is questionable. Don't get me wrong: I like it too, and I was impressed by the high quality. But they could have done some things better: In the first series Mark was portrayed as a very sensitive and rather vulnerable guy. In this season he is hard to like. He comes across as obsessive, needy, sex-hungry, desperate and suicidal. Vee on the other hand is portrayed as a sweet-heart (well, he is cheating on his girlfriend, I know). They should work more on Mark's character, and make Vee not so shallow like in the first series. I have hopes for Vee, though.

It is faithful. They didn't change the characters. I never thought To My Star was light and fun, btw. But I agree…
I'll watch this to the end for sure. But I don't know how they will fix this mess ... They are both complicated people, but at the same time I'm with you: They are both adults. Just get over your issues! Their problems seem so big and small at the same time. You wonder why they have to make their lives so miserable.

Don't know what can wake up that guy ...

Nah, that's not true. The dynamics were the same. When Seo Joon kissed Ji Woo he turned his head away like he was disgusted. That was some angst there! Seo Joon then said that Ji Woo could have avoided it, and wants to lean on his shoulder. He was drunk, though. Ji Woo puts his shoulder away, so Seo Joon's head almost falls on the table, but Ji Woo holds his head in the last moment. Same dynamic. He is cold to him, but at the end he isn't. Ji Woo even said to Seo Joon that he is disgusted by what happened between them. He was constantly saying ugly things to Seo Joon. But those moments were over pretty fast, and then they made up, and so the impact on the viewer wasn't that big I guess. Or when Seo Joon told him he likes him. Ji Woo said something out of the blue like "Are you piting me?" Seo Joon called him out, and said that he deserves a proper answer. Same behaviour in s2. When Ji Woo goes too far, he calls him out. Just saying: same dynamics. They just overdid it with the angst and dragged it out too much in s2.

It's time to say last rites for "To My Star" as a franchise. And, ironically, it's the people who gave it life…
Look at the comment section. People react very intense to this. That alone is proof how deep it is, because it gives many different people the opportunity to interpret the story in different ways based on their own opinions or experiences. Some hate it, some love it, some are depressed, some are confused.

I personally don't think it's brilliant. The angst is too heavy. They miscalculated. But it's worth my time for sure. It makes you think and feel. That's all what good storytelling needs to do.

When was the scene with the ring and the pillow? I seem to have missed it
Episode 5. Ji Woo is sleeping, then he opens his eyes slowly and turns around (in that moment you see something golden blinking under the pillow), and then we see that Seo Joon is lying next to him. It was after the end credits. Those people did some real Sherlock Holmes work here!

I don't think KSJ is that successful. Sure, he is a star and has lots of money. But he comes across pretty lonely,…
I don't know if he really is jealous, it's more that he feels inferior and not good enough for KSJ. It isn't necessary the same. I mean, he admires KSJ for his good qualities. Feeling jealous is more a burning sensation, feeling inferior is more depressing. At the same time he is stubborn and proud. And him having no friends: he is an introvert after all. I'm surprised how easily he gets surrounded by people despite not showing much interest in them. He gets used a lot by them how someone else pointed out. Because he never says much, people tend to rely on him.

At this point I have no idea if there will be a big secret revealed (regarding the parents etc.) or if this is really only about those two characters just not being compatible: an introvert and an extrovert. A shining star and someone who lives more in the shadows.

I just finished the 2 episodes. I still think SJ needs to leave. That last scene where he hears JW conversation…
Hopefully that's how it will play out. He was already sitting in his car when he saw the ex and decided to get out of the car and overhear their conversation.

No idea. They like to give us those tiny hints you will almost miss just to make it more mysteirous. I really hope at the end everything comes together and makes sense.

Ji Woo is a mess, and at this point, I don't give a f*ck why. I didn't like him that much in the first season,…
Sure, but Seo Joon perceived their relationship differently.
The whole talk about being lonely in a relationship ...
If Ji Woo didn't lie ... how can they overcome this? It just makes no sense to get together again if he really felt like that. Especially since he told the girl he never felt lonely while being with her, and thanked her for that. That was really the most brutal scene in all 6 episodes.

I need Ji Woo to start doing the chasing... he literally GIVES nothing.. his monotone expressions was tolerable…
He was cute in s1. In s2 I don't even want to look at his face.

I could understand Jiwoo, KSJ is too perfect, and it's hard to cope with his charm, abilities, honesty, everyone…
I don't think KSJ is that successful. Sure, he is a star and has lots of money. But he comes across pretty lonely, and his only deep relationships/friendships are with his manager and the other guy. You would expect such a charming and extroverted guy having tons of friends. But nope. In season 1 as far as I remember the downsides of being a star were portrayed, how people were selling him out, how he had to hide etc. It's not all flowers and rainbows. I thought one reason why he was into Ji Woo was because he felt safe by his side. He trusted him.

It sure seems he is doing too much, but on the other hand we saw in the flashbacks how comfortable and happy they were. He just needs closure. He also knows that it's hard to get through Ji Woo. It's part his crazy peronality, it's part him being too clingy, it's part him being too stubborn. And last but not least he really loves Ji Woo.
