Definitely some not so wise decisions were made in the writers'/director's table regarding this season . I mean…
They should have done it like that: Ep 1: We see them happy and in a relationship, but Ji Woo is distancing himself slowly. Ep 2: Boom! We start were they started in Ep 1. The break-up, the note, Seo Joon finally findind Ji Woo Ep 3 & 4: The villagers, the girl, the kiss between the guys Ep 5 & 6: They try to figure it out, give us ANGST, fights, kisses, whatever! Ep 7: They finally move towards a solution, get closer by any step Ep 8: They make it work and happy ending Amen.
Instead we got: Ep 1 to 6: flashbacks, angst, a kiss, more angst.
They made it look like they did. I would have preferred seeing them lying in bed with their upper bodies naked…
I watched it, and skipped most parts. Lead guys had no personality, especially the second lead. The acting also could have been better. The atmosphere was great, though. Very artistic and emotional. But those kind of characters ... not my cup of tea.
They made it look like they did. I would have preferred seeing them lying in bed with their upper bodies naked…
They showed them being naked in Blueming? Woah? I thought Korea doesn't do that. It's the same in their hetero dramas where you hardly see people naked in bed.
Wait did they sleep together in ep 5 after they kissed? I don't think I understood that properly because if they…
They made it look like they did. I would have preferred seeing them lying in bed with their upper bodies naked to make it clear for the viewers, but this is a Korean series after all. They aren't showing nudity. But yeah, I guess they did. Btw: there was a post credit scene in Ep 5. Don't miss that. I did miss it the first time watching.
I'm so invested in this. But I don't think I will give it a good review. Despite being interested in this series and enjoying it a lot, I think they made too many bad choices regarding the plot, the pace, and the overall writing.
I just know the remaining 4 episodes ain’t good enough for JW to redeem himself, ain’t no way
If they indeed figure this out, they should do a season 3 so we as viewers can see that this relationship is worth it and can work. Maybe we finally get the outing-Korean-star-as-gay plot or something. I feel ilke even if they give us a happy end, how are we supposed to believe they won't break up again?
I don't blame anyone for liking this show - obviously everyone has the right to choose what they enjoy, and my…
I still think they will go with this plot: Ji Woo pushes Seo Joon away, because he thinks ending this relationship will be less hurtful for Seo Joon than finding out the "truth" about ... whatever. Some secret will be revealed. But that's great misjudgement on his side.
People like to complain about Seo Joon being too pushy and narcissistic. He is just an extroverst and a puppy looking for love. But whatever faults he may have, he never hurt Ji Woo INTENTIONALLY. Ji Woo on the other hand knows exactly what he is doing. That he himself is hurt doesn't make his actions less of a crime.
That's the biggest problem I have with this relationship: That Ji Woo is cruel and he knows it. There must be another way to solve whatever issue there may be. But he decided to solve it like this. If they give us a scene where Ji Woo breaks down and Seo Joon will forgive him ... well, I don't know how to feel about that.
Bottom line: They overdid it. They went too far with the angst just to make the viewers suffer.
Can I ask why you dropped Secret Love and KinnPorsche?
Secret Love doesn't have much to offer, it's the same old formula. KP is trying out new things, but the writing remains shallow and the characters are not very likable. But that's just me.
ok people i've never watched the prequel/previous version of this and i dont mean to start any wars.just kinda…
Mark was incredible in the first series. But this time he is overdoing it with the expressions. I hope it was just the mood in the first two episodes. I liked him showing deep emotions. But him being annoyed or a brat is not enjoyable to watch.
I'm so curious how they will try to save this mess. Because they will. I'm almost 100% sure we will get an explanation…
They should have shown us the struggles of dating a star, or outing SJ as a gay Korean celebrity. But I think they didn't dare going that far since this is a controversial topic especially in Korea. Instead they put those two characters and their not matching personalities in a different setting (the village) and made somehow a reboot of the more angsty parts of s1 and dragged those out for several episodes. The writing itself is pretty intriguing, but the choice of plot is odd.
I'm not a native speaker, but as far as I know it means they ghosted each other, just didn't talk to each other anymore. Just laying low. Just doing nothing much and ending it silently. Just letting time passing by.
Why is that drama rated so high? The first episode was decent, the second boring. I dislike both leads. They have no charisma, no chemistry. All the other character make me yawn. I'm honestly lost why this is so popular. I watched Kingdom, Train To Busan, All Of Us Are Dead, Sweet Home. Those series weren't perfect either and had some annoying characters, but they were pretty intriguing. This is boooooooring. I tried watching it 3 (!!) times, and I think I just will give up now.
