Is it bad that I didn't feel sorry for Ji Woo one bit in the last 2 minutes of episode 8 ?
I was almost angry, and wanted to punch his crying face. I expected, when he finally breaks down, it would be very emotional and I would cry a river.
But nope.

You missed the best part. Ji Woo saying: "Although I hoped, Kang Seo Joon would be in so much pain, I'm the one…
It's what I got from those lines, what he basically said. But maybe this is a translation issue. This series is rather cryptic. So perhaps he didn't mean it like that. No idea.

Okay! I am lost for words! I don't even have any energy left from feeling tired and depressed! I started to watch…
I honestly don't care at this point. I find the "scammer plot" ridiculous. I know people will come and lecture me about Korean culture, but I expected a bigger "secret". This was most likely 10 or more years ago. How is it the child's fault? And the father wasn't even the scammer, it was someone else. This is so far-fetched. Nobody forced those people to be that stupid.

I didn't catch that JW spread the rumour. But who cares? He did nothing else than cause pain and problems for SJ. And now he even expects SJ to come running after him and figuring everything out? Even if SJ is doing so, what does he gain from it?

The only happing ending I am willing to accept is that one where Seo Joon realises that he deserves better and…
And then he will feel miserable and others have to come and save the day, because poor Ji Woo!

EP 7&8, i'm disappointed, yes it also sad for Jiwwo but i don't fell bad for him, he was so mean to SJ. But sometimes…
The scenes between the ex and Ji Woo were rather important. But somehow she got her own storyline. We saw her talking in bed with the friend and the child, we saw her doing her job, we saw her walking the streets and having her own monologues ... strange. I know more about her life than I know about Ji Woo's at this point.

And I am still totally confused about what is actually going on. I know there is a lot of reading between the…
They once talked about having a home in the woods, if I remember correctly. But at this point I'm expecting nothing. I also don't know how they will be able to live in the village together when Seo Joon has to go to Seoul (4 hours) for work.

Please correct me if I understood it wrong but the scene in the restaurant w/HJW and his ex gf did he really tell…
Yeah, he said that. But I don't like it. Ji Woo should finally put some work into this relationships. Seo Joon has his issues too (the job, the parents who left him, his trauma). Why does he always have to be the perfect human being and do everything right and know everything?

Yeah ... I don't feel like rewatchting the last episode, but that monologue was something ...!
He basically said, that Seo Joon changed his life. The impact was so deep, Seo Joon will be with him (in his mind) forever. At the same time he thought his impact on Seo Joon life was so small, that he will forget about him soon. So he broke-up with him, and wanted him to suffer almost as some kind of confirmation that he indeed was important to him. And then, when Seo Joon came running after him, he wasn't happy either, so "he hid behind the wall again".
Messed up stuff.
I was almost 100% certain they would go with a story like *I broke up with you, because I think that's the best for you, even though it hurts you*. I said it before, it would have been a big misjudgement from Ji Woo's side and the demage he did to Seo Joon was just too much to justify his good intentions. But they instead went even further. It's now *I broke up with you, because I felt insecure about your love, so I wanted you to be hurt and running after me, but when that happened I wasn't satisfied either*.
What to say at this point?
Ji Woo has not much charms and is socially awkward. In my eyes the reason Seo Joon fell for him was Ji Woo being good at heart. That was his biggest quality - if not the only one! Now they took that away. So what will remain? It makes no sense.

Honestly I'm disappointed... That's it??I'm sorry but to me Jiwoo's reasons don't justify his treatment of Seojoon…
You missed the best part. Ji Woo saying:
"Although I hoped, Kang Seo Joon would be in so much pain, I'm the one who hid behind the wall again."
So unless the subtitels are wrong, he was hoping KSJ would be in so much pain?
Great.
I'm out here.
Despite seeing some of Ji Woo's POV, it's Seo Joon AGAIN who does all the work. Ji Woo gets saved by everyone at the end of the day because of reasons. How am I supposed to believe that such a gloomy and difficult guy gets so much attention and affection? I didn't even cry when I had too, because I'm too pissed. How they say it in English? Too little, too late.
Hahaha ... can't believe it.
I'm rewatching the first series (or rather the movie) on Viki.
Around: 01:01:30 when the four guys have their "picnic":
SJ asks JW to teach him how to make risotto. He then tells him, his parents run away to Italy and the risotto was the last meal he had when he visited them. KPH says he always cried when he had it. So he should stop eating it, or just return to Italy. SJ then said, he won't do that, he has his pride.

Now JW opened an Italian (!) Restaurant that's called "Ti aspetto" (I'm waiting for you).
Haha!

I was thinking about the same thing.. will sj forget all the damage that happened to him after they come back…
The whole "I hurt you and push you away for your own good" is a difficult plot. In the world of fiction it may work, but in real life, like you said, the demage is done, and we don't forget. I think that's the same for all people. I too have such situations/words in my life, I won't forget and I won't forgive. It shows you the true colors of the people. Even in Ji Woo's case ... he knows how hurtful his words are, and he is still saying them. If he wanted to push Seo Joon away, he could have done it differently. Just tell him nice and clear, you don't love him and he should f*ck off.

I still think they will go with this plot: Ji Woo pushes Seo Joon away, because he thinks ending this relationship…
I rewatched s1 yesteraday, and I must admit I was smitten by Ji Woo. He was sooo cute! I didn't even remember him being like this. There were some scenes were he was even smiling when they played basketball for example. You could really see how he likes Seo Joon, and how he was into him. Such a lovely couple.

They ruined it, his character, the relationship. The only thing I would accept at this point is a black-mailing plot. Because revealing Seo Joon is gay and lives with a man will make his life/career extremely difficult. Ji Woo on the other hand has to keep it a secret, because otherwise Seo Joo would say he doesn't care and endure all the hardships. So pushing him away would really be the only solution.

We'll see. I think this is about some trauma/the parents ... no idea.

At this point, even if these two get back together, would their relationship be like what it used to be before…
"No amount of love from Ji Woo's end will fix the damage his words & actions have done to Seo Joon."
Yeah, that's exactly the problem. They could only fix that with a third season, where we see Ji Woo finally growing up and behaving like a good boyfriend.

The first season wasn't that popular. Not like Semantic Error for example. The ones who remained and made it through the first couple episodes are the ones who like that kind of storytelling. The others are long gone, lol.

They should have done it like that: Ep 1: We see them happy and in a relationship, but Ji Woo is distancing himself…
I'm just looking at it from a selling point of view. You have to get the attention of the viewers. This is dramaland, and it's BL. So if there are good kisses and the story is overall satisfying people will flock towards it, because word will spread. But if that wouldn't be the case, you shouln't start a story like this. You may enjoy it (like I do!), but it's not mainstream. This is not about good/bad, though I still think they made some bad choices. This is about what people enjoy and popularity. You can be 100% sure this will not be enjoyed as much as a series like Semantic Error where they got everything right.

They should have done it like that: Ep 1: We see them happy and in a relationship, but Ji Woo is distancing himself…
Nah, I disagree about that. Not a fan of flashbacks. Sometimes it took me several seconds to understand we are again in flashback-land. Also, Ji Woo distancing himself doesn't mean they had relationship problems. I just thought, the viewer should get an idea of WHAT EXACTLY is happening with him. If this mystery game is played to make the viewer guess ... nah. We hate the character. At this point every secret revealed will most likely be pretty lame.
You don't start a story like this. It's only because It's a sequel and many love s1, otherwise most people would drop this in a heart beat. We got nothing else than depressive content for 6 episode. No change in mood at all.

They made it look like they did. I would have preferred seeing them lying in bed with their upper bodies naked…
YMMD? What's that? It seems I should watch more Korean BL ;)
