I don't think he sees it as "cheating". In the first series it was even worse. He was openly chasing after Mark while at the same time maintening a relationship with Ploy.
In this version it seems he isn't really aware at this point that he is interested in Mark. He behaved like he wanted to know him better (like he wanted to date him which I know is also strange), but he wasn't so straight-forward to tell him he wants to have sex again.
After Ep 3 I guess the cheating will now start. They will sleep with each ohter while at the same time Vee is unable to break up with Ploy.
Now people I am going to rant about this show and god knows there is a lot .I will start with the fact that I…
I think the biggest problem of the whole season is how they managed to make Ji Woo such an unlikable character. In s1 he was awkward, cold, said harsh things, but he was also cute, adorable and occasionally looked really happy. He smiled several times, he was the better basket ball player, he seemed curious about Seo Joon and the world around him. He liked to tease him. He was also stubborn and had his pride. There is a lot to say about that character. He was very complex. I really liked him back then. Not to mention that he came across as a genuine and good guy.
In s2 though ... what to say? Horrible person with no good qualities left. Didn't even smile once. All the dialogues he had until now were depressing, doesn't matter who he talks with. Looking at him makes me feel miserable.
Well ... from what we know after watching 8 episodes ...Ji Woo feels inferior. He thinks hs is not good enough…
I don't think they want us to understand, lol. I too thought there was more about it. But I doubt at this point that we will get to see a big plot twist in the last two epidoses.
why is the kissing look so fake cant they act like the are really kissing omg
You must be joking ... That kiss under the umbrella was not meant to be steamy. The acting was flawless. The make-out scene in Ep 1 was also surprisingly good. Didn't know this will be so explicit. Like ... what are you smoking?
Nice series. But what makes me speechless is the filming quality. The colors are gorgeous, I like the music and the mood. Everything feels smooth. There was not only some budget to spend, the directors knows what he does.
I don't really get the story, something doesn't make sense to me. I can see their problems but I don't see any…
Well ... from what we know after watching 8 episodes ... Ji Woo feels inferior. He thinks hs is not good enough for Seo Joon, not important enough. Seo Joon will forget about him soon if they break up. So he felt lonely, mostly because he wasn't able to confront Seo Joon about those thoughts. You can argue he felt like that because Seo Joon is too perfect. He did everything right, was the best boyfriend. That seemed to make it even harder for Ji Woo. This can become some kind of vicious circle: You're unhappy and you think you have no right to be unhappy, but that alone makes you even more unhappy, because you feel even more bad about yourself.
So he run away. At the same time he expected Seo Joon chasing after him, because he is the one who knows and understands him best. They were hinting towards such a plot in the last episode. "Ti Aspetto", the name of the restaurant means "I'm waiting for you". Seo Joon is supposed to figure something out. Well ...
Unpopular opinion.I'm usually not the biggest fan of time skips but, I think a time skip would be befitting here,…
They should make a s3. There is a whole season needed for Ji Woo's redemption arc. I want to see him being a supportive and strong boyfriend. But how will he ever manage to be like that?
Whatever will be revealded in future episodes: THEY FAILED! Why? Because when we finally got an emotional reaction from Ji Woo at the end of last episode, I felt nothing but anger. I don't think we were supposed to feel like that. There is no balance between the characters. The one has to give it all, the other is just demanding. At the end of the day it should be a give and take.
They once talked about having a home in the woods, if I remember correctly. But at this point I'm expecting nothing.…
Oh, Jesus! So he has to give up his acting career too? What else does he have to do to be happy ever after with Ji Woo?
No seriously, being a star is difficult, but I always thought at the end of the day he likes his jobs and it suits him well. He obviously enjoys being the center of attention. I would find it horrible, if he changes his whole life for an uncertain future with a stubborn guy who has some issues.
He broke... Ji Woo broke.. finally. This guy has being carrying a load in his shoulders that affected every aspect…
*but remember what one sees as hard might be easy for another and vice versa*
I completely agree with you. But it's still a slap in the face for people who have it real hard, and despite their best efforts cannot gain anything.
"KSJ NEEDS to apply the confidence he displays to his own life and stand up for himself.. "
I don't think he has to work on himself more. From the very beginning he called out Ji Woo (he also did it in s1) when Ji Woo was unreasonable. He did it again in ep 8, telling him that he is obiously hurt. So he always stood up for himself. He just really tried hard to make this work. But then he finally accepted the break-up. I don't know what people expect from him. He has to be some godly being or what.
I think if it's really his reasons, then everything should have been resolved when SJ told him he was planning…
It makes no sense that Ji Woo may think Seo Joon doesn't love him enough. What was he afraid of? In his situation I would have tried my best to build a good life with Seo Joon. And if it doesn't work out, then I would be glad, that I at least had the opportunity and tried my best.
Even the topic about feeling lonely: Is he feeling now better since he left? Seo Joon always made time for him. He never complained about it either. He seemed happy to be able to be with Ji Woo. So you can't even argue that Ji Woo thought he was a burden. Seo Joon never showed any signs of being annoyed by Ji Woo or that he was bothered because he had to balance his job and his private life. He seemed eager to go home to him.
If we are supposed to be sympathetic with Ji Woo, then we have to accept that he has some serious issues regarding his perception of emotions of other people.
I have nothing good to say about this "love story". But I'm glad that there are two more episodes. The ex-girlfriend got her spotlight, the villagers too. The "secret" is revealed. They could have given us a quick happy end with Ji Woo crying in front of Seo Joon and finally opening up to him. Knowing Seo Joon he would take him back in a heart beat. But they didn't. So hopefully in the upcoming epidoses they will take their time to show us, that those two indeed are a couple we should root for.
but in ep6, he said that he's the problem to Sj when they're in restaurant
I think his self awarness is the problem. He always thought he is not good enough. It's like a self-fullfilling prophecy, lol. He indeed is not good enough.
Idk if you were referring to me too but I never said he doesn’t have a right to break up with SJ. If he wasn't…
"I especially said it with the thought in mind that this show is a romance."
The plot is intriguing. If this would be about life, personal growth, just different characters figuring out what they really want - I would be fine with it. But if they give us a happy of their "love story" I don't know what to say anymore.
I think if it's really his reasons, then everything should have been resolved when SJ told him he was planning…
To be fair: There are people in this world who ruin their own life and the life of the people around them for no good reason. They have it all, but their is a turmoil in their hearts and minds they can't overcome. I have someone like that in my family. But it's just not engaging to watch such a person on screen.
