Well, I was the one who used the word "porn". I was just joking. I'm not expecting real porn. But the atmosphere…
Honestly, that's a complicated topic. Asian BL series are rather targeted to young schoolgirls. That's why most of them play in the typical school/college setting. It's mostly about cute boys doing cute stuff. This starts to change slowly. So no wonder many are excited about KinnPorsche. In general I feel like Asia is a bit more reserved when it comes to sex on screen. Talking about gay content ... I cannot think of any Asian BL series similar hot and mature as Queer of Folks. We got some steamy kissing scenes in TharnType, Together With Me, Why r u?, Lovely Writer. I remember older movies like "No Regret" and "Eternal Summer" where they showed us at least one detailled sex scene. But that's it.
I looked the actors up. Didn't expect Mile (Kinn) being such a cutie. He is shy, polite and has a beautiful smile. Apo (Porsche) is more playful, but not as fierce as the character in the series. They are really doing a terrific job. Took me by surprise.
I'm hearing people use some words about this show and I'm a bit curious. People in the comments have used words…
Well, I was the one who used the word "porn". I was just joking. I'm not expecting real porn. But the atmosphere they create is very erotic. There is a lot of tension and sexiness going on. It feels more mature, sexy and sensual than other series. That combined with the mafia plot and some violence make this series an interesting watch.
Why? What kind of fandom is it? I thought CutiePie is rather controversial too.
I will never understand why people love to hate. I would rather write about a series I like and point out what I enjoy and not what's so bad about it. Some people are really invested in their hate 😂
Not gonna lie, I'm just here for the porn. I watched Not Me for the plot, Semantic Error for the cuteness, Bad Buddy for the fun, now I'm here for the erotic stuff. Judge me! Hopefully there is plenty, and they don't hold back. I want something mature, bloody, passionate and twisted.
The cut version is a TV version which is censored. And uncut(online) version is uncensored. And Cut version is…
Yes, that's what everyone says. But if you compare the two versions it feels like they just cutted out rather unnecessary scenes. So the difference seems to be that the uncut version is the extended version, and the other one is just the 45min-adapted-TV-format version.
Not that this is a scientific discussion, but ... Most people poop once a day and they do it in the morning. It's more than 50%. How many people were there in the classroom? 10? Most people if they poop twice a day they do it in the morning and in the afternoon. Did they even have lunch? I haven't seen them eating something. So they only had breakfast? From those 10 people maybe three had to poop. None of them had diarrhea. Because you don't get that hours later. Also, you can hold your poop. Not recommended, but you can do it. The longer you do it, the harder it gets. This is like picking up dog poop. You guys aren't survival experts, aren't you?
I'm waiting for a cameo of the Canon printer. Hopefully, people in the mafia have a lot of printing to do. Maybe they need the NIVEA make-up remover too! Who knows?
About the mafia thing in general or about the language?
I don't think those guys were real actors. Their acting was rather bad and amateurish, but the language was flawless. Still to this day they make expensive American movies in foreign countries with foreign languages and don't even bother to hire native speakers. So I was impressed that those guys spoke so well.
About the mafia thing ... Don't know ... But who knows? Who knows about the mafia? Anybody met them? Haha.
MDL: This series sucks.Episode 7 happens, with heavy making out scenes, skinship, and a BounPrem appearance.MDL:…
Not to forget Make Our Days Count. That started out with some heavy drama and good characters. MDL: meh, it's boring. Then we got heavy make out sessions. MDL: Oh my god! Best HIStory ever!
Honestly, I even dreamed about this and had a good sleep. I wasn't waiting for it, never read the novel and I don't plan to do so, but this is sooooo refreshing. It's pretty hardcore. I like how bold they are. Hopefully it doesn't get too cheesy along the way like many BL stories tend to do.
Looking at the statistics of age group for the rating for first episode, most of the lower rating is from an age…
I think young people are just easier to impress. As an older person you know more stories and can compare better. I often see how some series get hyped like crazy and everyone behaves like they have never seen something like this before, when I think this is an old trope. And when I say that they come at me and tell me "Where have you seen it?" As if I could remember! In my life I watched countless series/movies, read books/comics etc.
People are getting more and more obessed with korean dramas/movies, even more so with BL fans. Many of them could…
Haha, guys! What is this about? The series is bad, Koran people are ugly, so no gay man should go to Seoul to find his future husband, haha! Come on! I posted the orignal comment. I wasn't impressed by the series, mostly because the characters were not intriguing enough. I blame the writing AND the acting. But is wasn't a bad series, and more enjoyable than series like Tasty Florida that are pure fan service. BL has come a long way. I honestly don't know how people can complain in 2022 about a bad BL series. There is so much stuff out there for everyone. I'm interested in the genre for over 20 years. I remember those depressing Chinese gay movies that where out there back in the good old days. But then in 2016 series like Make It Right and Addicted/Heroin came out. We got some good BL years and everyone was jumping on the train. Unfortunately Thai BL (the most dominating at that time) run out of ideas. The production didn't improve, the acting was mediocre, the stories boring. But then they were able to push forward with series like I Told You About Sunset. Not a fan of You're My Sky but the production is also on another level. Even GMMTV is stepping up their game with fluffy cute series like Bad Buddy, and socially critical series like Not Me. The production improved a lot, they have some decent actors now too. Lately Korea stepped in and brought something new to the table with series like Where My Eyes Linger and To My Star. Also Semantic Error was cute and well done. Now I once in a while think about watching a BL, and there always is something interesting. KinnPorsche aired yesterday and looks good. People who like the more softer stuff can watch Japanese BL. Not to mention that there isn't a Netflix series without a gay story. I lately watched a Vampire series and got a blowjob scene between two teenage boys in the first five minutes. Wasn't expecting that! We are overloaded with gay content.

It will drop further. The final rating will be around 8.5 to 9 if this series is able to keep up the good quality until the end.
