Una frase? Tre parole! I couldn't figure out what he was saying. It ended with mo-ri-re. It didn't even sound Italian. Penso che Vincenzo abbia parlato l'Italiano abbastanza bene. La pronuncia e l'intonazione non erano male. Sembrava che sapesse di cosa stava parlando.
I couldn't get into the charcters. The one who was supposed to be chubby when he was a kid, had at least a personality, the other one was bland. The whole plot about the filming and everything was presented in such a strange way, that I honestly wondered if I'm just too unconcentrated to be able to follow it, or was it really so confusing? Side characters had no charms either. I liked the rawness, I liked the portrayal of the feelings, the softness and the kissing scenes. But that's just not enough for me to like a series overall.
Okay ... The good things: it's entertaining. The acting is good. It's well made. The actors seem young and are passable as teenagers. That's it. The bad things: annoying personalites, especially regarding the bullying issue we see so often in Asian dramas. Is it just me or are they trying to tell you "those people deserve to get bullied". It's not the first time that victims turn out to be highly psychopathic. You must be a psychopath if you let other people die just because you "hate the school and everyone should die". The whole father arc: He looked for her and traveled around the world (at least it felt like that), just to die immediately. Same with the mother of Cheong San. They tried to do something here. I don't know what. Not to mention the hate driven half human/half zombie guy who was just unnecessary. As there wasn't enough shit going on. If there is a s2 and they make those half beings more important, than well, his existence may be justified. The story and character development: There is not much. This is more action- and place-driven. We have different locations (mostly in the school) and there is some spectacular fighting-off-zomobies-action going on. It becames repetitive. On a sidenote: From the older actors there was not a single one that stood out. Sometimes you have a great older actor. There was none. To sum it up: I can see why people like it. But I was glad I finished it, and I will not watch a season 2. From all those hyped up Netflix horror/action series I liked Sweet Home the most. Those characters started out to be annyoing too, but they redeemed themselves along the way. Not in this series.
Okay, I'm now at ep 4 and they are making a toilet. Tell me, they are joking! There was a garbage can in the room. Just pee in that and throw it out of the window. And for the pooping: Who poops at evening? And again: Just wrap it in some paper and throw it out the window.
I think there was never a BL series that got so many views on YouTube. Episode 4, part 1, after two days almost 2 million views. Not even 2gether was that popular with the help of the pandemic.
