Wait, I am astonished reading some comments below about their frustrations on the princess comeback or Liu Chang, even Mudan’s suffering again etc . Others are even waiting for a new villain or a different arc to unfold etc. Like LITERALLY, this is not a spin-off drama of Flourished Peony. It is basically just a CONTINUATION of what is left in Part 1 (Flourished Peony). Other villains met their end at season 1, so therefore the major antagonists are still here breathing behind Mudan & Juang Chang Yang meant to cause upheaval . This drama should be treated the way you are watching a drama in a one get go. This is one of the common misconceptions about a drama chopped into 2 parts .The disruption of the flow can cause some to loose foresight of what they are watching, understandable it might also lessen the joy spark or intensity because of the waiting interval. Anyway, just clearing up so viewers know what's in-store for them . Again, this is a 56 episode length drama, FLourished Peony, the SAME STORY as it was before 🔥🔥🔥

I am sorry, my comment is indirectly for her. I am affirming your post that it is still early on this part 2 to draw conclusion hastily. Likely, just what you said, based from the trailers; many events will take place. This drama is meant to be one full-length drama. And should be treated that way. Sadly, it needs to be spliced so some may feel like the plot is redundant but actually it is just a continuation. This drama is a slow-burn story from the very beginning. Not a plot full of grandeur antics, fast-paced and different cliche or troops.

This story is like a slice of life in a historical setting. It is meant to be that way. I doubt it started great but doesn’t do well by having zero vengeance. The trailer even gives the bird’s eye view on how the story will unfold.

That is the plot and it is only the start of part 2. If you want quick revenge and if it left you unsatisfied then no need for you to delve into more episodes . Why torture yourself? If you watch part 1, you should know by now the pacing of this drama. This drama is like wound, it is meant to agonized you as the story progresses. There is no easy way out. This is not even the pinnacle yet, this drama of quality crafted each episode and they won’t leave audience for sure hanging with improper no revenge at the end.
