if I remember correctly it is this vague as hell ending. bitter sweet like maybe they'll get together, cause I believe FL sacrifices herself & then is reborn. they run into each other after years(possible rebirth for FL). ML kisses FL the end....I was....unimpressed with the final few episodes

It's a murder mystery. Let's keep it a mystery for the people checking in to start the drama.

yes let's yell across the palace courtyard about the Grade Prince's PRIVATE meeting with the King....good job Dowager Queen, you have made my "too stupid to live" list.

so im on the first episode where the Grand Prince is in commoner(servant) clothing. but his manggeon(the head wrap that keeps a man's hair tied in a top knot) has very expensive gwanja(buttons on the side) that would clearly indicate his status. might not be his Grand Prince pattern, but it sure as heck isn't a servant's gwanja on the side of his very clean face. they are literally there to show social status, how not one person noticed is wild to me.

I really dont think they will be able to replicate the dynamic that Lee Jung Ha brought to the overall vibe of the show. he was a perfect Kim Bong Seok, and I was really looking forward to him and Jo In Sung getting to work together as father and son. I cant believe this got delayed to the point he had to enlist before production even started. he would have been out by now if he started after the show aired, its been that long.

With everything that's happened this month for me I had to comeback to my comfort drama.

I had to back out of the app on my TV and go back in. this happens on my phone all the time. I dont like it. default is set at English cc with Original language set as audio. even the size is wrong on my TV in comparison to my settings for Prime.

oh....I cant stand anyone who invites themselves to other peoples food when the person clearly states no & even covers it. like i had a physical reaction to that scene. like my heart dropped and raced all at the same time.

oh god. I paused the show to go to the restroom and grab a snack after, pressed play and the English audio was playing instead oe the Korean....Eeeeeewwww ew ew ew. no so much no, can not begin to no enough.
Prime, get your shit together, not once in my life have I listened to the English auto of a non English piece of media on your platform, or any platform for that matter, what the actual hell. it won't turn off and it says that hangul is selected as the audio formate...make it make sense.

PS, so glad bestie never had to see her ex again after cutting him out of her life. Sometimes you don't need the full drawn out explanation/post mortem on a relationship. Sometimes it's best to leave the trash out to be picked up and discarded, never to be seen again.

2 episodes of resolving...wouldnt really call it epilogue per se, but satisfying enough for me. now im off to bed with hopefully lovely dreams.

I hope her world is completely shattered again. She abandoned her husband before his body was even cold. Forced her son to hide who he was and refused to talk about his father. Married the man who is ultimately responsible for her husband's death and framing him for a crime that caused the death and injury of multiple people.
Then when her son needed her most she chose the Pei family and their money and comfort over her son who was so clearly struggling with the death of his father. She tired to burry everything down...including her own head. So looking forward to a lot of the shady side of the Pei family businesses being under her name, because she's too clueless to look after her own affairs and money. She is peak "too stupid to live" type of character.
She's "sweet" but with that sweetness comes a blatant disregard for truth and her own son's wellbeing.
May her type of love never fine me. Disloyal AF.

He not only public exposed Xiao Yu's birth identity, but had a full file with photos delivered to her parent's door step. Causing her father to panic about his daughter being involved with the son of the man responsible for not only his personal injury, but the death of his best friend. In that panic he was hit by a car and needed emergency surgery and was in a small coma(for pain management).
When he learn of this hospitalization he brought gifts and went a round about way in asking if Xiu Xiu and Xiao Yu were still together after everything........the man did NOT give two shits about her father in the hospital or her broken heart. He only cared about whether or not Xiao Yu lost the girl.

I'm on episode 26(very start) and I don't give one flying fuck about him. He has shown NO empathy for anyone. He can go hug a scarf for all I care. He needs to eat the crow he's about to be served and say thank you.
