The mother can go to hell with Pei Zhen and his father. She married the man who killed her husband. I can't with this holier than thou BS her and Pei Zhen are spouting. They are about to eat crow and I can't wait. My ass is going to be so sleepy at work later and I can't even care.
Goon #2 had no right to be that fine....none...the one about 10 minutes into episode 24 btw in case anyone wanted to know exactly whom I'm yapping about.
*Me looking with microscope 🔬 to see SML and FL chemistry that everyone says is better than FL and ML's, even…
They have great working chemistry with each other and are playful behind the scenes but I think she did a good job of keeping her character distant from his character in this one. I believe if they wanted to portray a couple they very well could. They have good working chemistry, but the characters aren't right for each other so I never shipped the characters.
You aren't allowed to French kiss on screen in Chinese mainland dramas. The closest you're ever going to get is a "candy kiss" where one person transfers candy in the mouth to the other person. It's part of the censorship laws. Short web dramas and movies I believe are the exception to this rule. In most dramas depending on network and period, you wont even see unmarried pairs even kiss. It's all stage kisses. Open mouth but no tonguing your co-star. Some stage kisses are better than others. This drama has a lot of good kisses and very natural interactions between the lead couple.
Someone already posted that express is out Tuesday… so that’s 7 ish hours or so that we’ll get all the rest…
Debating whether or not to go to bed early and watch them when i wake up before work. I don't think I can fit 6 episodes in no matter what I decide though.
Abbreviated sus list because the multi paragraph comment I was writing was exited out of and lost. so not going…
1. The Ex, Hye Joo: She said that she saw Jae Hee at the apartment...it wasn't raining when Ra Ik came back but it was when Jae Hee came back...why was she out there so long? hmmm...also she could afford lawyers and would thrive on Ra Ik depending on her. So no need to cover up the death in the apartment. She was also in contact with Woo Seong so potential reason to take his phone.
2. The CEO, Geum Bo Sang: Most obvious because he wants to control them. Least likely, because the potential for loss was too high, and all he cares about is money. He would have staged it as a suicide, so he's still on my sus list for Jae Hee's attempted murder.
3. The Manager, Jang Han Gu: If he is the sole manager of the group and his job depends on the Gold Boys staying at the company, he might have a lot more to loose than we have seen. He is also a bit two faced and doesn't seem to care very much about the actual wellbeing of the members as long as they make it to their schedules on time. He could have grabbed the fob from the housekeeper the night before and returned it by "bumping into her" and picking up her "dropped keys" the next morning. He knew where Jae Hee was.
4. The Keyboardist, Lee Yeong Bin: I just don't know enough about him at this point, and the fact that he was so wishy washy with the truth to Ra Ik makes me wonder. He is also the only member we don't have a clear stance on OT4 vs disband. He also seems like the only one with a family he can turn to in times of stress. So he might not be held by the company the same way the others are. He could just seem wishy washy because the band's success might not be as life and death for him as the other members.
5. A unknown stalker/obsessed fan: We already saw that 2 people got into the apartment previously. That night Ra Ik went in and out of the apartment. When he came back it could have been left ajar or a person could have seen him put in the code. But I think Woo Seong would have fought a person he didn't know or trust. Also they would need to also attempt to kill Jae Hee....so....idk.
I still don't know if the garden side of the garage is below the apartment's balcony or not because they didn't do a very good job searching the crime scene or surrounding areas. So it could have been someone carrying Woo Seong's phone when Jae Hee called him, or it could have fallen from the upper floor.
Hye Joo is still my #1 suspect because of her connections to everyone and how unhinged she's been behaving.
RIP to that great comment cause i wanted to write too but i made a short version for my own sanity
I remembered most of it. But I could remember what kicked off the sus list other than I think I was working through the night of the murder's timeline. But yeah I didn't end up posting a comment with the sus list and reasons why I think they did and maybe didn't do it. I normally type things out in my Onenote or word doc but my eyes were hurting so I decided to type it up on the webpage because I can set it to dark mode. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Abbreviated sus list because the multi paragraph comment I was writing was exited out of and lost. so not going to overly explain it, but the list is as follows. (then goes on to over explain) Below in spoiler tag comment, because duh.
And you could tell he hadn't taking down the articles about Gold Boys or Do Ra Ik from when he was little. HE BELIEVED IN HIM! Those had remained the things he faced every day for 20 plus years. Right at EYE level. Oh that's his grandpa, not by blood, but by love and community.
I think episode 9 was important to show the most real versions of themselves to each other. Or at least Ra Ik being able to be himself without all the baggage/stress of fame. As she is about to get thrown into the fire it was important to establish a deeper understanding and bond between the two of them. She has told him some of her past, but not all the details. He's inferred some bits and pieces, but hasn't fully put them all together. I want to see Ra Ik put some of the pieces together more. I'm not sure she's shared with him that she dropped out because of bullying & that he was one of the reasons she felt strong enough to make that leap & finish school. I would be interested to see if he or they would ever publicly state their connection to one another. That he saved her & that she was loyal and professional. & I swear to god, imma need prosecutor papa to get his comeuppance. There is still time for the prosecutor to turn the ship around, but he needs to wake up to the fact his father made an innocent man guilty & that cost him & his wife their life, & then the prosecutor went on to bully the child of the man his father killed for his own ego.
Kinda sounds on purpose, like he deliberately targets vulnerable kids?
EXACTLY! This happens in a lot of smaller companies. Yes the nepo kids can train longer without worry, but the kids that dont have a lot of backing/support end up in really vulnerable situations.

are all four members of Gold Boys parentless or have shity parents? where the hell are they? what is going on. I know that one can infer a lot of things & I dont need my hand held to understand plot, but other than the Keyboardist "going home" it doesn't seem like a single other member had a place to go to other than the evil gangster boss of a CEO.
Just realized drummer boy is the hot mute guy in A Shop for Killers. 🤣 I had never heard his voice before so took a while to click. it wasnt until he acted all strange with the ball cap and packing that I was like why he look familiar now?
