I'm confused between different bells. They used different bells for truth and lie. when he said his name Kim Seung…
best way to tell the difference is to think of it like a singing bowl. The truth sound is as though you are skimming the bowl to make a ringing sound...the lie sounds like you hit the bowl with a mallet. one is a ring/chime the other is a ding/gong.
idk why everyone is confused about the bell, when someone lies, she hears a clear "ting" but when its a truth,…
I think that if someone truly believes something...aka that they are the cause of someone's death, that it would ring as a lie when he says he didn't kill her.
From the teasing flashbacks and references...he might have been drinking heavily the night his ex girlfriend tried to kill herself on the beach. She used a piece of glass to cut herself as well...hence the blood that got all over him. Maybe he blacked out and doesn't actually remember what really happened to her. Maybe what we are being shown are two different nights that he has merged into one memory. Why we haven't gotten him speaking in any of the flashbacks yet, i'm not sure. Cause if my ex kept saying she was going to kill herself and then I'm brought in for her disappearance I would be talking about the fact that the girl kept threatening her own life when I left her. I know they want to keep a lot of things a mystery for a while, but it's a bit frustrating. Cause if someone is THAT unhinged more people should have been aware or seen signs of that type of behavior. Unless of course they are going to play the "My sister would NEVER do that. She was a angel on earth...blah blah blah." If so this is truly the worst case of denial i've seen in a minute.
I remember the ML actor having excruciatingly bad acting in Alchemy of Souls. Permanently bland expression and…
Haven't seen Alchemy of Souls....couldn't get past the style of it to get into it.
There isn't anything that's sticking out as bad from him. But there are a lot of very strong actors in this show, so as he interacts with those actors more it might begin to stick out if you are hyperaware of his acting. Keep in mind there have only been a few scenes where half of his face isn't covered with either a face mask or sunglasses, so right not it's hard to judge. I would honestly need to watch a few more episodes to get a better feel, as the character is relatively quiet and in his sad emo boy phase. aka not too much range to base a solid opinion on. Really curious what someone who's seen both thinks as well. Kim So Hyn(FL) and Seo Ji Hoon (2ndML) are both really good actors imo. Though I think this is now the fourth or fifth time I'll be watching SJH get rejected by a FL.
My first 10/10 in foreverEverything about this drama just worked, I've seen it twice in one week!?The FL and ML…
Spoiler tag to save space in comment section 'When I Fly Towards You' the story is by the same writer, Zhu Yi. Main couple and a secondary couple. If you aren't interested in the secondary couple it's easy to skip without missing anything. High school to college. Light with low drama. Similar to Hidden Love in that the ML has family issues that need to be resolved, FL from loving supportive family. Both smart and driven. She falls first, but he falls harder. Seriously could get a cavity, it's so sweet.
Thank you! I've been thinking this since the moment she spilt the brother's drink in the bar. Everything just…
Oh it's more messed up than that. Also he might be a lot of things, but he isn't stupid. He survived as long as he did in that house and in business because he pays attention and can read people very well. I'll put it that way as I don't want to spoil it for you yet but episodes 37/38 will clear everything up
Marking as spoiler to save space on the main page. also not everyone wants to know about the BTS stuff while actively watching the show.
I'm starting to feel like this show could have been 32 or 35 episodes instead of 40. They left in so much stuff that doesn't really matter to the over all plot. And there were constant back slides with character growth for some. I would have been interested to see more of the brother and how he was handling things, but because of all the drama on the mainland with this series I'm pretty sure they cut some of his scenes. For those who haven't been brought up to speed the jokes and ziggers coming out of of China about this show are peak entertainment for netizens. There is a strong population of ppl shipping the FL with her adoptive brother, and the more the show runners tried to emphasize the main couples relationship the more the netizens dragged the show to filth. Calling the FL "porridge girl", dunking on YY's acting. I have never wished to understand Mandarin more in my entire life. I really want a bilingual content creator to talk about what's been happening. I've only gotten bits and pieces. If anyone here speaks Mandarin and can shed some more light on the mayhem that is the behind the scenes of this show airing please share with the class.
Almost to ep.30 and I can’t put my finger on it but xiao miao’s roommate doesn’t feel right.
Thank you! I've been thinking this since the moment she spilt the brother's drink in the bar. Everything just seems too calculated. I know that it's a common trope to have 2 characters constantly run into each other, but this seems nefarious. Spilling the drink The ID left in the car The designated driver job Taking him back to her apartment instead of just calling her ex-boss to come get his butt into his apartment Taking photos at his work complex The way she lost all interest in Song Yan when she figured out he was just a firefighter Also let's not forget she let her friend take the fall and financial burden of that make-up scam
TBH I have read some spoilers from the novel and someone confirmed in the comments below that it stuck to that story....so we aren't wrong to question her.
another hana yori remake? when are they gonna be done with this shit? yeah great acting and all.but for fucks…
every time they remake it I think they might do a different take or update it in a way that it's similar vibes but not as toxic, and each time they some how make it even worse. I've heard good things about this one, but I've been preferring other newer adapted works over older story adaptions like Boys Over Flowers/It Started with a Kiss.
Really weird why some poeple in the tiktok and weibo find the fl and the creepy brother romantic than the main…
I also can't tell if the ML's little cousin's roommate has ulterior motive with the old brother of the FL. There are times where is just feels extremely calculated, and other times where it feels like just a coincidence. This could just be down to the writing being clumsy or the editing making it seem that way. idk.

The step sibling plot point seems to be common in a lot of dramas. In US shows too. Only it's less of an issue in the states if the marriage of the parents happened after a certain age. But like adopted siblings is always going to be a big yikes.
i havent read the sorce material for the show, but....As of episode 19 Sang Zhi is working as an intern at an animation company. Her direct superior is the best friend of the stalker who was at the restaurant at the time of the water throwing altercation. ep 19 ends on a cliffhanger. As Sang Zhi is leaving a work gathering at a karaoke bar to be picked up by Jai Xu, Stalker girl opens the door to the private room. I know someone already answered your real question but for those currently watching the first few episodes i thought this might be useful.
I really loved the chinese version of the story ( Go Ahead ), I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one…
The OG was so good. I'm thinking I'm going to have to rewatch it. I could do with a nice little therapy moment for the ML in this new one, cause I think we can all agree that his mom messed him up good. Seriously my only neg comment about the whole show was that I don't think they took the time to work through that trauma for him.
here to remind ppl of the time when Viki released the last episode without the special effects edits complete aka they uploaded/were given the wrong file. Blue screen, crew members in shoots....death stares leading to ppl falling over, but with no idea why. It was amazing...I hadn't laughed that hard in a long while. Please tell me someone else remembers/was here for this?
I'm really going to need this to be a modern time-line drama. Make it like Dorthey weaking up after visiting Oz. Everyone she interacted with in her fictional world were based off of people she knew in her real modern life, and now they(2 main leads) have to navigate their real life relationships with what seems to others as a very abrupt relationship with each other. How will a top actor date the head writer of his show...etc etc. Was he actually seeing someone else in the real world at the time of his accident and her illness? I need to find the comment I made about the first season, but I can't remember if I made it on this site or youtube.
