I think the original ending kind of keeps it open for more, but I was happy with how it ends. So even if we don't get more I think people will be pleased with the overall show. The writer brought a lot more depth to the show, so I know that he has a lot more to say in this world of powered humans.
The only issue is that with the budget for season one, unless this show does really well globally, I'm not sure they could give the same quality to a season 2 with a lowered budget. Second seasons in kdramas is still so weird to me tbh. Some of them have done really well, but I just never know if the cast would even be available/willing to sign on for a season two.
I get the vibe the younger cast would be hella down for a season two, but that the older cast, though very much loving their characters, might want to move on to other projects.

I guess I didn't think he was being promoted in the marketing more than Ryu Seung Ryong and Han Hyo Joo. With how much the mother/son and Father/daughter dynamic was in the marketing I figured he was a strong feature, but not lead lead...if that makes sense.
But yeah going based off of the articles that the press were releasing you would think he would have shown up prior to episode 7, and been in every episode. I feel like this is more so the press than the actual direct marketing for the show. After seeing everything I can't be upset cause I think it's covering him really well for what the writer had of the character in webtoon. If anything he expanded on a LOT of the characters as well as adding people to flesh-out the other supporting stories.
I'm sorry that you were hoping to see more of In Sung in this, but what parts he is in are SOOOOoooo good. I still can't believe that the director was like "What are we supposed to do with you. You're too good looking...you're supposed to be hiding out as a farmer, but you stick out." The even attempted to dishevel him to make him look more average and failed.

I want everyone to look into the 'Bury your gays' trope and 'Queer Coded Villains' . Korean writers seem to be in their Hays Code propaganda phase. It's giving homophobia.

And not because they feel guilt about killing someone and lying about it for 5 years...nope...he killed himself because he was outed as liking DoHa...what the ever loving F*CK were the writers thinking?

It might be a short term loss of hearing, like a constant ringing in the ears that makes it so she can't hear her power properly.

Part of the plot is giving 'Her and Her Perfect Husband' vibes. aka age gap older woman. fake marriage because of her job. Everything else sounds completely different though so looking forward to it.
I liked 'Her Private Life' so I'm looking forward to something I don't have to think too hard about and can just sit back and enjoy the hijinks and romance.

She has super zoom eyesight...like a telescope or a really strong camera lens. She has super senses, eyes, ears, nose, taste all have been mentioned/shown she hasn't shown super touch, but i'm not sure how one would show that ability.

I guess I'm just used to film pacing being similar. It's more about vibes less about what is being said in the moment. It's mood...which isn't everyone's cuppa so I get it. The pauses/cuts for me is just building tension, but I guess I can understand how that could be frustrating for those who aren't used to that style of storytelling.

Just found out from another poster that the script writer and the webtoon writer are one in the same which is why everything feels so much more rich and well placed even though the character are "new".

Yeah didn't even realize that we had him doing the adaption as well! For some reason I thought that his credit was just for the IP and not the script itself. That changes a lot imo, because I would hate for any extension to lose it's core meaning and focus from the original author's intent. But if it's HIM doing the writing I think that being able to put his thoughts to screen would only be a good thing. Cause the webtoon is like drawing story boards for a show or film.
Though now the question remains...will Jo In Sung be willing to get rigged up again in those wires?...cause our man was very excited to be done with those harnesses.

I'm confused how you think the pace is the issue...going based off of your watched list and what you rated them im honestly shocked. Do you normally binge watch after the full release of a show? Is that why you think the pace is weird?

A part of me doesn't want a season 2. Just because I think that this was such an amazing drama I would hate for expanded stories to fail/let down what they accomplished in season 1 . I just don't want another Star Wars situations on our hands...yah know? or Game of Thrones, cause once those writers ran out of source material it all went to hell in a hand basket.

I don't know who said that. if there is more than one season of the webtoon I can't say for sure. But I read what I thought was the whole thing and homeboy makes it out alive.

I think will get him in episode 18 in flashbacks, but I think we wont "see" him til episode 20.

Did i miss her in a previous episode? I thought her adoptive brother said she died. Was she one of the mourners at her mother's funeral? Cause i don't remember seeing her as an adult.
