oh they've pulled that in other korean shows...it was a weird plot device imo.

everyone gaslighting people saying he isnt attractive because of this and that....like do they need glasses? His real personality is a bit goofy as i believe he's the youngest on 2Days1Night atm. so maybe they arent used to seeing him "bring the thunder" (smolder) 😈😏
i also need people to notice that the stylists/costume/wardrobe people know what they're doing in this show. They first dress him in ill fitted suits as he isnt paying attention to his style & just going through the motions. when he comes back he updates his style as he has a focus & purpose.(also he comes from a time where the styling is different....2013 was a rough year for men's fashion...not gonna lie)

also the whole, can forge her handwriting. she might even know passwords that Ji Won would use.

as i tend to gravitate toward female lead shows even when it's a romcom it just doesnt make sense. i totally get it if it turns out like a Drew Barrymore in 'Scream', where they promote the film featuring her in promotion material only for her to die in the first 5 to 10 minutes never to be seen again.
this whole plot revolves around the grief & confusion one has when a loved one dies and the one left behind realizes they didnt truly know their loved one.
i love all the flashbacks & how random he is with her.

oh that would drive me up the wall. i like when the translators leave notes about the meaning but then continue with the word as is. honestly my biggest pet peeve with netflix though there are numerous issues the most annoying is when they shorten the name being used. so when a character is saying Park Ji Hoon they only write Ji Hoon completely, imo, changing the relationship/familiarity of the two characters speaking. Oh! putting the name of the character instead of the TITLE their subordinate /sibling is using! I'm like, 'what in the lack of context is this?' I'm so glad that I have at least basic Korean listening comprehension for those moments. also the Korean speakers in the timed comments always come through on viki when context is left out for timing/space.

well whomever is subbing over at viki is using a 'G' as well as whomever wrote the cast/character list for the show. though because more than one person is subbing sometimes they use a 'K'. I mainly call her Wol anyway as she looks like a little moon.

i personally think Wol knows it's AkHee in control as he called her GyeRa instead of Wol or Consort Hyo. I think her "I missed you" was for AkHee. But of course he didn't let her actually say what she came there to talk about before trying to retaliate against Hyun for "stealing his woman". Like.....boys...you share the same body...you can share the same woman...🤦‍♀️ She also likes both of them so AkHee & Hyun are the only ones complicating matters. imo

I wonder if Yeon Wol realized that Ak Hee called her GyeRa instead of Wol? She knows him best out of everyone else now...even more than his head eunuch. So when she said "I missed you." After he called her GyeRa, i question whether she is saying it to AkHee, Hyun or both of them.
AkHee in all his stupid jealousy is trying to make her hate Hyun, but I think he will find that she is just disappointed with AkHee's behavior. As she is trying to save the people of the Kingdom, whatever that means happens to her or her feelings doesn't matter in her mind.
The bittersweet love Yeon Wol has for Hyun & AkHee is well portrayed. She's doing her best to heal & comfort both sides of him knowing she cant truly be with either of them. 🥺
PJH is doing a great job balancing his character's varying mood swings.

'Love Me, Love My Voice' Chinese drama that released at the end of 2023...highly recommend for a break from heavier shows as it is all fluff, no drama Llama & good music. like kick your feet as you giggle cause they looked at each other kind of good vibes.
Lead actor gives good eyes like the ML in 'Marry My Husband'.

Use your words & communicate with the two men trying to protect you from a literal serial killer who has killed every witness to his crimes...including the woman you sent the police to talk to. honey, baby-girl, imma need you to stop getting drunk off your ass in public WHEN YOU ARE BEING STALKED! also bestie....do better at bestieing please. you dragged her ass out the damn house on a snowy night(murder night) because you wanted to drink the ONE alcohol you didnt already have at the house? Ma'am...no.

The fact ML had to split his interaction/chemistry with 3 different actresses made it so each one seemed very surface level at times. & I've seen this man in Tale of Nokdu...he can have chemistry with his FL. Sometimes his & the FL's smiles looked too forced/fake. like older dramas with the kings & queens...if you know, you know.

What was with the wardrobe & hair&make-up departments? so many questions.

They didnt need a full chorus of fairies, one would have been enough & they could have saved that money & time.

The show should have been 9 to 12 episodes tops & focused in more on the leads connection to each other & the killer. some parts were repeated numerous times & yet still lacked the context needed to further the plot. the people who do youtube edits have better editing skills than this production.

i wanted this show to be a 10/10 but it ended up being a 7.5/10 in reflection for pacing & overall production.

I thought/said the same thing the other day. & honestly thank god. cause everything one of the mains has to break to give the Truman Showesk ad read it was jarring. Still they did better than their last drama...king enternal monarch was read to filth on social for their product placement taking up so much air time.

I haven't been this enthusiastic for a kiss since the last slow burn i watched. & that was episode 20ish. We haven't even hit 8 yet, and I know most lead first mutual kisses happen in 8(as it's the mid point of the series)

It's like she only has to say "okay" & he would burn the world for her. So so good!
