I guess back up site & then rewatch on Netflix? I was going to watch it more than once anyway, but I hate when a license gets broken up like this for airing outside of the country of origin.

USA. If Netflix will work with my VPN I can maybe see it sooner, but I really wanted to watch on my TV without having to mirror my laptop.

They are the only people for each other. No one can compare or get close to them. People like them, but they don't give any attention to them. And it's not the kind of like that messes with the mains' relationship. Just people crushing on the cool kids who are aloof to others.

Netflix is on my shitlist this week. "New episodes coming Thursday".....side eye...bombastic side eye!

I'll still restream the episodes on Netflix while I'm working(so it gets the official views), but darn it. Praying that my backup site has the HD version uploaded on day of airing...if not I'll have to avoid this comment section like the black plague. Which, I really don't want to do because I've been looking forward to yapping about this drama for years now.

I'm only about 18 minutes into Episode 17, but I would love nothing more than for Mu Ran Wu to be killed by Crown Prince Su Yu. I feel like it would be poetic justice in a way. If you're going to be a greedy bitch and ruin everyone's lives might as well die by the hands of the person you "love" most.

Love is in quotes because she only loves herself. She's just obsessed with Su Yu and what his position can do for her.

Oh, that's such a mistake on their part. Setting up a mystery makes the viewer want to learn more. I like that we get the story of what happened in the past from the POV of the verbal history verses what ACTUALLY happened in the past. Also, they need to introduce who will be the main personality for the show first NOT her past self first. I'll have to see what they actually changed to really judge. I think I'm mainly salty because I usually keep notes on what happens in which episode for rewatches and now it's going to be all mixed up.

When did they reorder the episodes? Was it whole episodes or did they move scenes from one episode to another?

I would say moderate amount. The majority is during her High school years. She has a few issues in adulthood but she learns to communicate more.

More specific spoilery stuff mentioned below...skip the rest if you want to go in blind.






YiFan goes through a lot of family struggles, death of a parent, horrible new family members, an abusive situation(trigger warning SA) all while in high school. She feels ashamed & scared & just wants to get as far away from her family as she can...forgetting about the promises she had made with Sang Yan. Sang Yan never forgets her nor does he ever move on from her. He pursued her first, now it's her turn to pursue HIM. There will be a significant time jump from senior year to adulthood, but I don't know if production will edit this time jump length. They don't interact during their college years.
I believe there is about 3-6months to a year of dancing around their feelings while they live together. as Sang Yan wants to be pursued. The novel jumps a bit while they are courting each other & going about their lives. When Sang Yan shows up for the wedding of his college roommate they are together & they have an argument right when he goes to visit his little sister in college(it's why he has no luggage & is so ready to throw down with his bestie) but they make up within a few days.

I love that they cut out that Jia Xu is a smoker.
It's why the window is open in Sang Yan's bedroom, why he is outside the karaoke place sitting on the steps, the confrontation with the neighborhood bullies is a lot more intense in the novel because the guys actually light a cigarette/lighter & hold it near the bully's face. Any time you see Jia Xu sitting outside 100% of the time in the novel he was smoking a cigarette.

Considering the things YiFan had to deal with with her "family" that rating is needed. also with her former neighbor...

Thank you, Love. All news sources I've seen just now are using the world "global" when talking about Netflix, so I think you're right. I just need to be patient.
God, I feel like such a fan girl right now with how impatient I'm acting. I have faith production got the story/characters right. Imma go touch some grass and head off to work for the night. 😊

Can I ask which country people are seeing it on their Netflix as the US Netflix still doesn't have a show page for it. I'm hoping I could use my VPN and just change my location. If that doesn't work I'm going to have to use one of my back up sites...which I prefer not to do as I want them to get the views.

Dude! when I tell you I was kicking my feet with little squeaks of joy when they dropped the new trailer & the bts video of BJT & the director discussing wardrobe/styling & how to approach a scene! I'm so grateful that he was the actor cast for the role. Though I do understand why some are disappointed about the same cast not being used I need them to at least SEE BJT as Sang Yan before they judge. Also, I need them to checkout the original IP to see how YiFan sees him. Also thanks for bringing this comment of mine back to my attention. I will be using some of this for my reviews later down the road. 😊

Was LITERALLY just looking into this one this morning. That's an insane coincidence.

I just want them all to have their moment in the sun. I just know my co-workers are gonna be sick of me. (I give them updates on the shows I'm watching. )

I love it when actors research their role and the director collaborates with them instead of just telling the actor to read the lines and wear this, do that. I love seeing the creative process on a production.

Slowly catching up to the airing. 2 of my shows are ending this weekend. & then I'll mainly be focused in on The First Frost(I've been waiting for this one for about 2 years at this point)
I think im going to try & get as caught up as possible before the 18th. (currently on episode 11)

i kind of hope that they hold off on this one until March/April(cherry blossom season/spring) just so that, selfishly, I can focus on each one separately.
Also because from all the material I've seen of this show it gives spring vibes. & I love it when a show airs during the season it's mainly set in.
