Sorry you’re not old! I just said that because it seems most people are way younger haha.
But yeah I’ve noticed the echo chamber effect is real and people just parrot one another without stopping to really comprehend what one another are saying.

I understand and agree entirely! It’s fine to politely state a like or dislike, but just plain character assassination of an actor is so off putting and uncalled for.
I’m so sorry it ruined your viewing experience—that’s so rude of people and seems almost like a type of bullying. I’m kinda old (31) so I have a tough skin, but I worry about more sensitive or younger people getting hurt by things like that.

Yeah I used to participate a lot in the Cdrama subreddit last year and it was usually really nice. Then I deleted my account for about 6 months and now I noticed it’s so much more negative and elitist almost. Idk maybe it’s just my perception, but I prefer to stay here and see what likeminded people have to say on the dramas I like.
People acting like this drama destroyed a beloved family heirloom or something, both here and on Reddit—it’s wild y’all 😅 I can understand not liking it—just move on or rewatch your favs.🤗
Ahhh this is such a beautiful drama! Tushan is so beautiful—the CGI is really well done. Reminds me of the floral realm in AOL and how that drama made me love Xian Xia ❤️
Gong Jun is so mischievous and hot haha he’s really picked up a bag of tricks being raised surrounded by foxes.
Episode 4 cut short with just a glimpse of Wei Zhe Ming/Lai—-give us more of this beautiful man already!😭
Well, I have watched all 4 episodes (below are teasers for episodes 5 and 6).Can we talk about Li Zhen Zhen who…
Gosh Wei Zhe Ming has me in a chokehold—I thought Liu Xueyi reigned supreme in my heart until I saw White Cat Legend and it was “Oh hello there Zhe Ming, have my entire heart”
Episode 8 made me so emotional. That stepmother was so evil. As a mother myself I absolutely cannot fathom treating children differently—why did he have to use plastic disposable dishes and nobody else did?! Why did his spineless dad just accept it?! I honestly don’t blame Zerui (such a beautiful name btw) for what he did. He was what maybe 17, abused, emotionally stunted by a lack of proper care, it makes sense to make such a senseless decision without thinking of the consequences. It brought to mind the words of Charles Ryder in Brideshead revisited where he says “something long sickening in me had finally died.”
I'm dying of happiness. LXY is such a great actor and super handsome!! As for JJY, I say she has improve a lot…
I agree entirely! She has improved greatly and that’s the sign of dedication! I hadn’t liked her previously and came in neutral, but I was impressed with her acting here and have no complaints
Such a lovely drama! I had seen ZL in Legend of Chusen and loved her there, but it’s my first time seeing LGX. He is so good! I’m a new fan of his now. It’s so refreshing to see mature leads—really fits the persona of an ancient god. Actually everyone is doing such a good job in the drama, I’m so thankful for it and In Blossom end my drama drought.
