Loved the last episode. I love that its a very different BL show, however, for me it is still moving at a very…
Agreed. To be honest, even though a lot of people dislike "politics", I think the show would benefit from showing some things from Tawi's side. At the moment all we really are being fed is that is "rich people get away with breaking the law" but frankly it's true whether it is Tawi or anyone, so why should we specifically be invested in Tawi being overthrown?
K so some people are going to hate me for this...I just watched episode 7 ( cause mf exams won't leave me alone)…
While I agree that it was a bit weird of Dan to bring Yok to his place of residence, I guess the ID card essentially gave away all of Dan's details so Yok pretty much knew everything regardless.
That being said, obviously Dan was already interested in Yok given he chose to include him in his mural. I feel like there was instant interest and attraction that was solidified when they spoke about their mutual interests (art and activism) and their ideologies aligned :)
it's a short series and the episodes are only ~20 minutes long so if you don't like it, you won't have wasted much time. it's quite cute so far although also seems to discuss issues surrounding the lengths people go to, to achieve beauty standards. based on that, i'd recommend giving it a go :)
But Christmas is about Christ and more than 90 % of Thais are Buddhists...why would they think or treat it as…
Agreed. These people are forgetting that there are humans whose time and effort goes into producing and airing these shows. Surely all of these workers spending time and celebrating with their family is more important than us watching an episode of a show on a certain day? It's not even like it's never going to air, it's just delayed.
the song in the opening scene of the first episode certainly was... a choice that was made 😅 i think that was chosen by someone who didn't quite understand what it's about hahah
i know everyone has already said it but... his eyes are so beautiful? even without seeing the rest of his face, it's like you can understand everything he is feeling (or at least everything he wants to portray). 😊
The misdirection is that it was being implied that they were lovers when in reality like you said it was one-sided…
i get what you're saying but i think there are actually a few people who, after this episode, think that the relationship between them is just that they're step brothers, and that there wasn't even a one-sided attraction. it very well could be but i personally don't think it is the case :)
also unlike others, i'm not sure that maze and nueng's relationship was misdirection; it still seems like maze did like nueng romantically, and is kind of hung up about him, and nueng comes across as really jealous when he's talking to maze and phap (such as saying that he "didn't realise" phap was standing right next to maze lmao). that being said, i also think it's pretty clear that nothing will develop between them. i'm not sure why all screenwriters seem to think that step-siblings are a great choice for a pairing though 😅
jisung is always obviously a good actor - but it's really highlighted when he's playing multiple characters in one production. really looking forward to this 😊
i actually like that this seems a bit darker than many of the versions of F4. to me it always felt like the severity of bullying was a bit out of place with the general lighter atmosphere. or for the bullying to mostly come down to f4/the main male lead just playing around and exercising the freedom and power they have due to wealth.
the relationship between thyme and his mum where she is very ruthless, the voiceovers for certain scenes (like kawin talking about pressure while thyme is beating people up), etc. better explore the root of why the bullying is taking place. it's obviously not fun and games for the people who get bullied, but it's not really all fun and games for thyme either.
i can't believe you didn't even use one fullstop in your entire first paragraph lmao. it was so difficult to read…
i think it all depends on what you want to get out of a show. most really aren't great but if you go into it wanting something cute and you're not expecting cinematic genius, super high production quality, etc. then it's good. if you do expect these things, then the same show becomes bad even though nothing has changed, haha.
what thai bls are you watching at the moment? so many have started at basically the same time 😊
i can't believe you didn't even use one fullstop in your entire first paragraph lmao. it was so difficult to read…
don't worry - it was mostly tongue in cheek (sarcasm/a joke). the main point was that it's just a matter of different personalities at the end of the day; if you want to watch something you don't like, that's fine. but most people won't do that, so most of the people you will run across on this page will be in disagreement with you.
in any case, your english is good. i'd just say make sure to use full stops to end your sentences, particularly if they are in the middle of a paragraph :)

it isn't hate - it's simply the truth that there wasn't a single full stop used, haha. and that was a good chance to analogise with how most wouldn't continue to watch something they hate - often you wouldn't continue to read something that is difficult
I have watched ep 8 now without any willingness, because I am so tired and there is nothing to watch, so my conclusion…
i can't believe you didn't even use one fullstop in your entire first paragraph lmao. it was so difficult to read that i didn't read the whole thing - just like if i was watching a show and didn't enjoy it, i wouldn't waste the time to finish it.
