Ryan Cheg is brilliant in both. portraying two very different characters beautifully.

i think it is brilliant and have enjoyed it. yes there are one or two holes, but nothing is perfect. it is one of the best dramas i have watched this year. but each to there own. sorry to lose you.

such a shame they cannot find these people and prosecute them. i guess its jealousy. I haven't like some of the stuff that Xu Kai has done, however, every actor relies on the script, directors and crew. There isn't much an actor can do if one of those areas fail. they can only do so much.

Brilliant, really enjoyable watch. Don't understand the negativity at all. This is not my usual watch, i was just curious. I laughed, i cried, i found the story very entertaining. The actors brought their characters to life with some skill. I also see it says this is season 1, does that mean there may be a season 2. I do hope so, this was fun.

well i watch this by accident really, but once i started i didn't want to stop, so i didn't and watched it all in one sitting. very entertaining. The ML and FL were excellent i will look out for them again, I think the whole cast did a terrific job. I thought the rating a little on the low side, i would rate it around the 8 mark.

thats my guess also. thinking that evil reject is going to help him as long as the crown prince spikes the drinks. Which he probably has done. if so he really is a dumbass.

I am really. enjoying this drama, which is a surprise to me. I don't even know why i started watching it. perhaps because i liked Xu Kai in another drama i watched recently. I do not understand why it is rated so low. I have laughed, felt sad, happy and angry, but never bored. looking forward to the rest of this drama.

i have to say i feel that the last 2 or 3 episodes were wasted, and this jealousy thing is like a man behaving like a 15year old. I want to shout at the screen 'grow up'. The fight scenes are mediocre, but then i read somewhere that the budget constraints may have affected decisions. what a shame.

in the episode guide there are reviews. for each episode until the end of this drama. How is this possible, or is rating dramas in general, and doing reviews just a waste of time.

well i have to say although there were some issues i enjoyed LOTFG the fight scenes i thought were good. I am not sure about the fight scenes here but i do find the story here really interesting.. very different from the Chen Lei in LOTFG so i can watch this without comparing. This is another side of his skills which i am really enjoying.

didn't Cheng Lei use his own voice in LOFG it will be disappointing for me if it isn't his own voice.

Oh this is so different to LOFG, i loved Chen Lei in that, but this is so different, another side to his acting skills and i love it. I was worried that it would be same same with the two dramas following one another. but i can just relax and enjoy both.

for once people have not been rating episodes that have not aired. and there are no reviews as yet, so why the rating has gone down is a mystery. i tried to find out what was happening on other dramas but have not been able to work out how the ratings are calculated.

i thought the obsessive 2ml unnecessary. would rather have had more of the ML and FL after marriage. I believe in the novel they had a daughter. It almost felt like it was the legend of Mr Chu rather than a Female General, on some occasions.

sorry, also how do you "hate" something you have not seen. I came to watch this accidentally, watched the first episode to get a feel of it, and some hours later i watched episode 13, This drama is delightful, and amusing, very well acted by the cast, at the moment i cannot see whats not to like.

thanks for the quick reply, so that would damage the reputation of MDL as a website. surely some computer whizz can arrange it so that they only release an episode for rating after it is aired. What a waste. so ratings are pointless.
