i agree this is overrated, however it is good, but not as good as TPOB in my opinion others may disagree, and thats fine. We all like different things. i am enjoying this one however some of the earlier episodes felt like they didn't move forward at all.

for me TPOB is better, however i am enjoying parts of this, i was just rewatching ep 12 how do you get a silly woman running into the field of battle and causing what could be a fatal wound, later no apology, no taking responsibility, nothing, and then we get the wittering doctor asking should i call her miss or mrs, i mean come on, that dialogue isn't even funny, its just stupid. i am cross because i really want this one to be equally good, i have been looking forward to it. fun stuff should be funny not stupid. In TPOB they had serious moments that would glide into amusing moments effortlessly, and be funny. Perhaps the writer here just doesn't do funny very well. Anyway fingers crossed this one will finish off well. i so want it to.

oh i forgot to mention the food, TJC can come and cook for my anytime. I am not a very good cook, but i try. ha ha.

it's a real pleasure to be back here again. I cannot believe it is 2 years since i first watched this drama. i wonder back now and again when i need something soothing with brilliant music, a lovely story, and great acting. nothing better to warm the soul. Its also lovely to see this comments page still up and running with new viewer for this drama. TJC has such a wonderful speaking voice, lovely and rich, and when he is singing its just bliss.

i was not going to comment on her health as everyone has seen the updates. This young lady needs some space and time to recover, both physically and mentally. I hope she has good friends and family around her. Its going to take a long time for both. I still would like to wish her well. I am also a private western person with a wee bit of medical knowledge. But it is not my place to discuss this.

this is my worry, anyone who is important in the story knows HeYan is a girl really early on, but she remains blissfully unaware. Really, how is that possible. The commander knows she is lying but still keeps her around. Why. Only and absolutely brilliant twist in the coming episodes can save this drama from being "much ado about nothing" It just doesn't hold my attention and i am really really sad about it.

I was really looking forward to this drama, but i have to say i am finding it really really slow.

as a C-drama fan i just wish her well. Hopefully all will be sorted and she will be able to recommence her career once she is well enough, if that is what she wants.

P.S. i still think it deserved the 9.1 rating it started with, i did put it higher. sorry but i liked it.

isn't it wonderful, when i first watched this drama during airing, i found this comments page. it added so much to the waiting and fun of watching this drama. I think it is lovely how it is still going. I come back now and again to have a little top up, this is my favourite historical romance drama after journey to love. I did watch Blossom also which i thought was good, but TPOB is much more than good, its brilliant, I laughed, cried, and applauded how well it was acted, and the brilliant way they went from dark and ominous to comedy was so smooth it is a real delight to watch. no doubt i will come back again for another top up. meantime if anyone has any suggestions for something else to watch it would be much appreciated.

they were instructed to reduce the number of episodes by 3 or 4 before it could be aired. maybe someone has more accurate info on this. it should have been 39 or 40 episodes.

I think this drama is a brave choice for the FL Dilraba Dilmurat, However given her history of philanthropic work, and social justice maybe not. It is a gritty story about the grubbier side of life. Its a tough story to tell and i applaud her. It is not easy to watch, but is a must watch so that these evils in society all over the world can be laid bare. Jin Shi Jias seems to be uncomfortable with his role in this drama. The rest of the cast appear to being a decent job in sometimes very difficult roles. I think it deserves its rating.

I rated this at 8.7 i could not go beyond this as some of the cases were from fantasy land, which detracted from an otherwise excellent drama. The main leads did a fabulous job portraying their characters with quite some skill. Landy Li is indeed brilliant in this. The ML i haven't seen before is also excellent, and i will look out for more of his work. Indeed the whole cast did a great job. I wish them well, but i do wish the scriptwriters hadn't visited lala land for some of the episodes, it was unnecessary and detrimental to the overall drama.

i understand why people say it should be rated higher, however for me although it was good, i prefer POB which i believe deserves more than its rating of 8.9 but due to some people who, for the life of me, i can't understand, rated it lower because of hate, not hate of the drama but hate of a person. I find it very difficult to get my head around it. so for this drama my rating is 8.7 mostly because some of the cases were based on fantasy, for instance the heart transplant episode. Also all the killing at the end was so way over the top and so rushed. YanCi being regent was just right.
