Muyun shows in episode 29 just how lacking he is. He insists on closing the case, even though it is known that there are other forces behind it. Narrow minded and rigid, unable to see a bigger picture. Why didn't he talk to his mentor. i wouldn't forgive him.

we all like different things i guess. I believe it is a nice balance, each to their own. i have watched all three that you suggested, but that doesn't mean i can't enjoy this as well. i actually think the leads in this have great chemistry, In the Imperial Coroner they were a strange couple.

given the ending, there must be a season 2. its the only logical thing to do

i am really going to become cross with myself. I am back again for a look, i cannot resist. I have been away and watched other stuff but they just don't cut it, and i drift back here. I am trying the Coroner's Diary which is interesting i will see how it goes. In the mean time i will have a look here. Unless someone has a suggestion for something else worth watching.

i can understand where you are coming from. for me i rated this drama 10 it is true, however that reflected how i truly felt. I rated it above The Double, they spoilt that when it became a real mess towards the end, perhaps one to many twists. Also above Blossom which i also enjoyed. I am fairly new to this genre, is there anything you would rate above TPOB at the moment

oh wow, just watching something on facebook re the show and it is saying that the argument between Wei Shao and Manman when she is cross that he had been reading her letters, and he stutters, was all adlib. brilliant it had me laughing.

thanks for your reply. That is such a shame as they have good actors, perhaps the fault lies in direction, I will fight through to the end i am waiting for the final episodes to download, it looks like it will be today. fingers crossed for a happy ending.

i understand where you are coming from, however when moderators allow a rating of 1.0 and 3.5 these are obviously malicious for some reason. It also devalues this site and if they allow this to go on for other dramas eventually people will stop coming here. Which will be a shame because part of the enjoyment is communicating with others of like mind.

well i made it to episode 29 and the story has become even more barmy and unrealistic. It is a real insult to the actors. I won't write a review as i know some people are forgiving for the sake of the actors and of course the crew. I will try and finish it today. I am a little angry really because i like our leads and have seen them in other drama's and they were very good. I believe that all the actors have done their very best with what they were given and deserve applause for that. I wish them all well in there next project, i sincerely hope it will be better than this.

am struggling to keep going. I really like the two leads so was quite hopeful, but am afraid the script, the story is letting them down. i will try a few more episodes and see how it goes. fingers crossed it improves.
