couldn't agree more. This is my first time seeing SZE and she is a brilliant actress. LYN i have loved his music and watched his progress as an actor and in this drama he is outstanding,
showing the dark and lighter side of his character with real class. I am so pleased his looks don't fit others standards, if all you want is pretty to look at there seem to be no end of those, unfortunately their acting does leave something to be desired. LYN is a very talented musician and is growing to be an outstanding actor. I think he is really a unique and charismatic person, not only handsome, in a manly way, but talent in abundance. if others cannot see that, that is their problem not ours.

and they called Bi Zhi a beast but infact Lui Yan and his advisor were the beasts, they just didn't see it.

the actress Li Xue Qin who plays Xiao Tao Manmans maid has such a beautiful smile, she played an outstanding party in this drama. Infact all the cast did. what a wonderful team it must have been to work with. the Crew the Actors, Directors all working to the same goal. they have produced a quite exceptional drama for us to enjoy.

given that some episodes 2 or 3 i believe were cut from the original production i think it understandable.

I have just loved this series, everything, even the slower bits in the middle to allow the development of their relationship. I believe i have read here that it was film early 2023 with more episodes, however it was held up and they had to reduce the number of episodes. Even with these happenings i believe it is the very best drama i have ever watch' It was wonderfully directed, the script, if the subtitles was great and the balance between light and dark, comedy and more serious parts was superb. cinematography, music, and last but not least the actors were one and all brilliant, beautifully lead by the main lead actors. I have also enjoyed reading the comments here, some good some not so good, however everyone is allowed a point of view. I will definitely re-watch this. I believe the rating of 8.9 is a little low. i think it deserves over 9 when i think about other dramas that i have watched that have attained 9 and above. Thank you all for your company, no matter where you are, it has been so interesting and added to my enjoyment.

i am just taking a break, my nerves are shattered i still have 2 episode to go. but if you say the end was rushed is it because i read on here they were asked to cut 2 or 3 episodes. right back to it if my nerves can stand it.

The music is the icing on the cake. We only see the end result, which is of course a throughly outstanding drama. Sometimes we forget all the behind the scenes collaboration that in this case has worked so well. Pity the rating for me is a little low. I believe it deserves more than 9. however it does all depend on how they finish it off. But they have managed to keep the pace and the standards high throughout so i believe we will see more outstanding episodes to finish it off. I am sad that it is coming to an end, but excited to see how they finish it off.

I am just re-watching whilst waiting, the music is great and a love how they slide in the lighter more amusing moments the balance is just right. LYN is imposing in his role of Clan leader, he voice solid and deep, and of course his stature almost like a different person when he is with his wife, who looks quite delicate and gentle, but she is strong and resilient. The balance they found is quite brilliant

heaven knows what time it will be for me, it use to be around 11am but the last few episodes its been 1pm in the afternoon.

i am a very forgiving person when it comes to drama, so long as it is an interesting story, with a well written script, brilliantly directed with actors giving of their very best, and boy did they. the actors were just brilliant, i want for no more. perhaps because i am probably much older than most here. I just relax and allow myself to be swept along with the story. This drama had me hooked within 5 mins of episode 1. i meant to stop there but i binge watch all 9 episodes that had already been released, and i just could't stop. i cannot tell you how much i have enjoyed myself, not just with the drama but also finding this chat page where people expressed how they felt about the latest episode had been an added enjoyment for me. whether good or not so good comments, it does give pause for thought, and reflection. many thanks for your replies i have read them with interest.
