Yeah you definitely don't have to worry about that LOL. And actually, because XW can only accept his less powerful rings, it leaves a void that TS then uses to "fill in" his originally younger rings with much more powerful old ones! ie 5 black, 3 red :0. Even after gifting them TS is still a douluo killer LOL.
I loved how in the final battle there were seven minutes of fighting and nine minutes of talking to each other XD. The 'entrance' was anticlimactic asf. The CGI team deserves all the praise for this show. As for the rest, well...LOL. Hats off for attempting to adapt something so difficult and full of censorship fodder though. I think my avatar clearly hints at what you should watch next if you haven't already started it...
Salute @Major. Just finished #39 and still trying to understand what exactly is going on.
At this point anything I say is basically moot because the drama must have changed everything lol. Neither of those sound familiar to me. Anyone trying to secretly kill BBD would be insane. She's way way too powerful. But yes BBD is the final boss, of sorts.
I knew that there was going to be a cliffhanger but didn't think it was going to be this bad. It's literally like…
Her husband? Bibi Dong secretly killed Qian Xunji, the former SH Pontiff and teacher. BBD and XG were in love and she threatened repeatedly to leave SH for him, at which point QX raped her to keep her tied to SH, then told her he'd have XG killed if she continued to resist. QX was wounded by Tang Hao when they came for Ah Yin (for her ring, which was instead sacrificed to TH), but it was BBD who finished QX off. It was always assumed he died from wounds sustained by TH, until BBD reveals it at the end.
100, theoretically. 99 is basically demi-god and 100 is god.
He is but the donhua/novel develops it slowly and meticulously, which makes it more compelling. His power stems from his intellect, and tactical genius. And the Inner Tang Sect abilities are WAY more developed and believable. He starts getting real power after the drama ends.
(Ep. 33). I am getting rather frustrated with the comment section here and I might stop checking it because of…
The point about spoilers, I can understand.
"Is that the aim of the people who keep comparing the drama with what should have happened, according to the novel or donghua? Keep new people away from it all? Just curious."
But this is the common assumption pure drama fans love to step in. I hate to state the obvious, but this work is in fact derivative--drawing comparisons/contrasts with its source is the whole point. Otherwise, there's no reason to title it Douluo Continent. That doesn't mean the novel is a paragon of fantasy storytelling by default. Far from it. Given the opportunity there's a ****ton of stuff I'd change. But nor does it mean we should throw the source in the Styx either. I'd love to see the reaction on a Jane Austen board if veteran contributors were told to shut up about her novels because, "this movie is different" LOL. In fact the motive is often exactly the opposite: to encourage people to branch out beyond the drama. I started with the donghua and noticed a lot of knowledge being dropped by novel readers, along with complaints. But instead of telling them to shut up about the source material, I read it myself and gained a massive amount of insight that enriched every scene, along with the added analytical tools to better evaluate the donhua itself..
It's obvious she's a new actor here but honestly in this case it's 90% terrible screenwriter decision imo. They…
Yeah I actually enjoyed her character and the TS x XW ship in the first half of the novel/donghua. If the SW had made her more mature here I probably would liked her too. In the donghua she single-handedly takes apart the Balak team (bullies). It's great.
Honestly speaking I can't stand watching the female lead, why she always pout while speaking, even while standing…

There is a good anime, much more faithful to original novel story. You can watch it on youtube under Soul Land…
Indeed--it's 10 lvls better than the drama. People should ideally do all three. Hats off for their attempt to adapt it into drama though, I guess. There definitely needs to be more like it imo.
Is it just me or is Ou Si Ke getting way too much screen time? I watched through 31 and he's still not redeemable…
Sigh...novel/donghua Oscar is so good. He's comedic but witty and never overbearing like this one. He also has some of the best development, starting right after the DC ending, if I'm right about its end point. It makes the Oscar x Rongrong ship put TS x XW in the shade imo.

BINGO lol.
