I love this show. Yoriko is quite embarrassing and almost all of her problems are self-induced and wouldn't be problems for anyone else, but I can't help but feel for her anyway and the situations are hilarious.
Thanks to everyone for those interesting questions and answers!
I think I watch quite a lot of currently airing shows at a time (even when working more than 40h/week), the main reason being that I find it hard to drop something I've started. I also dislike skipping eps or speedwatching, so my "trick" for keeping up to date with them is to pick the less interesting ones for half-attentive watching - meaning I'll do stuff like cooking, doing dishes, cleaning or work out while watching. Makes the chores more fun =)
overall pretty tacky, cheesy and slow but as long as kamiki gets screentime, I'm in.
I agree! With only the first ep it didn't bother me at all, but I'm at ep 3 now and all the cheese is already starting to get on my nerves. Kamiki is the major draw.
This question might be stupid, but I can't quite wrap my head around it: Why did Park Man Geun want any kid dead…
I get the part about the kids getting confused, but I still don't think they explained the reason why anyone should want to kill one of them. Moon Hee Man is the only one who had a motive, it wasn't him and we weren't shown anything else. Sure, it might not be good for the special prosecution if 2 of theirs get caught up in a hit-and-run, but why should Park Man Geun do them the favor of covering it up? It's not like he's implicated. Also, how did he know about it in the first place? It doesn't look like Moon Hee Man went around telling people about it, least of all Park Man Geun or anyone from Hwa Young.

When we were made to believe it was Moon Hee Man it made sense, because Kang Soo witnessed the hit-and-run, but it wasn't him, so why would anyone kidnap one of the kids? Did I miss something?
Is the ending really bad? I intended to watch this when it ends, that is if it had a good ending and it's worth…
I think the ending is absolutely anticlimatic. The whole ep 21 is a failure concerning the structure (in that it's kind of a reiteration of everything you already know for most of the time) and it actually bored me, although I enjoyed the show up until then.
Storywise I think it's not satisfying because of how the solution was found and presented (This show had a few good twist, but the ending "twist" is absolutely lame) and also because even though the show has a happy end, they didn't even solve one of the bigger problems and failed to explain quite a few things.
That said, I still think it's a decent show and the ending doesn't completely ruin it or something.
Awesome! The school setup reminds me of Hana Yori Dango, only they don't go the romance way and tackle the bullying instead. I was surprised by the high quality of the first ep. Definitely a show I'll look forward to every week!
As with most j-dramas, the exact ep count will probably be decided near the end of the season. This show is scheduled to end in march, so it'll be the normal 9-11 eps.
For me this is quite the disappointment, because they always teased at the conflict I was interested in but the show never got to it. Most of the other stuff was repetitve and quite obvious. Now I have to watch the movie -_-
