Lol, I can't imagine Fukushi as L! Can't really say they came up with someone more fitting for that role though.
I watched Algernon when it aired, but all of Yamapis recent projects are sapping my Nobuta-based residual love for him (there was A LOT of that). He doesn't do Algernon any favors but also the other way round.
This season is somewhat of a dry spell for me so fingers crossed Koinaka is good.
Probably everyone has actors whose projects they avoid. I'm no exception on that and I know that feeling when someone like that has been cast in a promising project v.v
I hope you were not looking forward to this too much.
I also think that the acting is off. Kubota Masataka is awesome as always, but Yamazaki Kento is terribly misscast. He's way too pretty, his L lacks charisma and you can see he's trying too hard. Besides being the way better actor, Matsuyama Kenichi also fits better lookswise imo. Sano Hinako can't act at all, but you can't really blame her (yet), because she's still so green.
That said, I did really enjoy the first ep and am curious to see where they'll take us.
When Soon Ae possesed Bong Sun, When she's talking is it Bong Sun's or Soon Ae's voice? O.o
The spoken words are Bong Sun's voice, but sometimes you hear her thoughts and then it's Soon Ae's voice.
Park Bo Young's delivery is just amazing *_* She really sounds like Kim Seul Gi!
It says thriller but is it scary? can someone tell me?
This is not scary in a horror kind of way, but chilling in a psychological way. It's not nearly as intense as White Christmas, but it asks the same question (at least so far and I hope it'll explore that further).
I guess I'm the only one who didn't really like it... The message is great, but they went about it all wrong and lost me early on. Wasn't able to believe the romance and stopped caring for most characters at some point. I loved the friendship though.
Everything research related annoyed me to no end because of the blatant incompetence at every damn step. Thank god you can't work like that in the real world.
I thought it was cool how everything came together gradually and you could make guesses and theories because the drama didn't unnecessarily withhold information, so I was really disappointed when they used a cheap editing trick to mislead the viewers in the last hour.
It's still a good show though.
