well i dropped the original i couldn't even finish
so i hope i finish this one and then maybe after than i'll consider picking the original up again

woke up from my nap and we have an hour left for it to be aired and I’m probably not gonna wait for the subs to come, I’m gonna watch without idc and I’ll rewatch it when the subs come to understand what I didn’t the first watch because no way I’m waiting anymore than this

hey I usually also crave some type of war and fight scenes and this one satisfied me. of course that’s not the only reason I was watching, because I’m here for the love story as well but to me this makes a perfect historical because it’s a blend of both .. has a good balance in my opinion! for these 10 eps idk about the upcoming part2 and if it’ll have that as well …

(he means drinking and ladies and all of that )... that's what i understood .. i understand some Korean because it's been years of me watching dramas on and of so .. i hope i helped

yeah exactly he's gotta explain himself but if she makes up her mind to not say anything about it then he won't know that he needs to explain himself well i just hope that even misunderstandings happen , they won't last long

not that he'll be swayed .. he's a goner he can't see anyone but gil chae ... what we should be worried about is if he and her become friends and she comes back with him and gil chae sees and thinks he' moved on and he was just messing with her ... the fear of her bringing such misunderstanding to surface , don't you think ?

rewatching certainly helps because we get to focus and see things in a way we haven't in the first watch

exactly look at certain dramas and the recommendation many have similar character dynamic. similar this , similar that . similar plotline but like different in its own thing so yeah mostly it's inevitable like you said.
yeah i also watched a couple other dramas that can remind you of each other, it doesn't mean it's copied or it's okay to now be shit on because it was similar to something done before in my opinion this one right here is done right i could go on to say it's way better than all that's been done before that's similar to it .. including gwtw or the qing war movie i think it's called the fortess for instance i was insanely reminded of it during the war scenes but i never said they copied or never mentioned it in order to bash the show
lol seriously my dearest success should be its own and only my dearest deserves the hype and the praise ... smh at those people rewatching something that's almost irrelevant to this drama .. it's like me watching goblin then going to watch idk maybe Korean odyssey because they're both fantasies and the lead falls first and some one dies in the end and so on ...

see that's also where i'm coming from .. i understand they it reminds them of that but just like you it doesn't ring a bell .. and it's a normal character dynamic whatsoever there's a user above saying it's an adaptation ... they've seriously lost it to me it's more like a love stpry during the joseon qing war and they chose to make the lead fall for her first and they made agnsty inspired or not inspired as the story goes it's so utterly different to the point where it's def it's own unique self but others are like noo ... smh ..

it's alright i don't mind you noticing that .. it's normal .. but it's not normal to keep holding that idea further and even defend it and bash the drama and also interpret the characters like the one in gwtw.. does it make sense?

there are facts and there are opinions you can't turn facts to an opinion and the characters here are different than gwtw and that's a fact. and i'm just correcting the stuff that are misleading other people into believing it's the same thing but like a Korean version when it's not

yes mostly civil .. i like that about it too .. we try to keep it mostly positive and point out how it's such a masterpiece and unique but i've talked to a couple saying how they don't wanna watch it because of that .. people are being misled for real .. that's where you start to get tired of it

i don't see how it's hurtful because it's normal to get sick of something after seeing many repetitions of it that are utterly wrong.. like it's just normal terminology used to describe an emotion that has to do with the person. people seriously getting too sensitive to the point where everything hurts them, i didn't mean anything evil .. and i said sick of the comments in general and then in my second comment elaborated that it was about those that bash / shit on or say how they know GWTW so this character or that character will die so they're not watching .. there's been countless of those comments .. just because they didn't see them or scroll down doesn't mean they aren't there.. Then again many scroll down to read and get an idea on the shows and you just can't always assume things when it's convenient .. many like me felt the need to point it out .. and "sick of" here means more like tired of / bored , nothing too harsh tbh
