i agree with you there aren't much historical cross dressing .. if we count them they don't reach 10 ...... i think that because people might have watched them one after the other they think that many dramas have adopted that and they're annoyed but really i have to agree with you on that ... are there any recommendations i could give you ?
or is there a historical drama so good in this genre you advise me to add to my PTW list ?

it's so good as historical revenge angst and schemes and palace political ... a fave of many of us historical fans

honestly not that invested so far ... pretty annoyed tho, with many characters too .. will keep watching for when it becomes angsty to get my fix of that and if it doesn't get any better and if there will be no character development for the fl especially because how the does she take such a decision in ep 3 so ?? i don't like fl written like that but anyway it's probably for the sake of the plot but they better fix it or i'm dropping this

oh gurl .. there's no beating my dearest .. and this is a bit more of a revenge but yeah the angst and misunderstandings factor is a lot like my dearest but there's no way any other fl is beating our gil chae and no other male lead will beat ouri jang hyun .. these two managed to beat my historical bias dramas that have kept their spots as top faves for years and became the one at the top of my list so don't you worry .. i highly doubt a drama of that caliber is coming any time soon ... maybe this will be so so good but i wouldn't say it could compare ... like i was worried when i watched mr sunshine after my dearest that i might compare but my dearest won by a mile in my opinion that one is also good it's a 9 but my dearest is a perfect 10

yes but ak hee can be good and bad .. cause he's highly sensitive and vengeful .... did you see his decision in the last ep (7)? ..... i was highly disappointed after watching that .. but like i'm still gonna keep watching ..

No the ming were an empire , and the Qing were a different empire, Qing became stronger and fought with the Ming, they conquered joseon in my dearest because joseon was loyal to the ming and they wanted the king to weaken and be loyal to them instead .. that’s what I know

i love ak hee more but i feel for hyun and root for him .. i want them to become one so hyun can find piece and the pieces of ak hee come to him naturally

Prince so hyun’s story and depiction in the drama was a real life story .. even his death .. my dearest followed history accurately on this matter

However I still haven’t started but sure thing it’s like that .. also empress ki , similar situation for wang yu ( the crown prince/king )
