A fluffy, low angst, relaxing and romantic drama. Like 90% of the Chinese dramas I've watched, I think this one also would have benefited with a lower episode count, as I found the story lost momentum sometimes, especially in the second half. Also, it was nice to watch a drama without sociopathic demon parents for a change.
My score 8.5/10

Research shows quite clearly that sexuality is fluid in many people, often influenced by their situation.

You should just be honest and stop pretending your issue here is with the purity of the English language. Your issue here is that you don't like trans people. You don't think they should exist. But they do exist.

The word "gay" once meant "happy". It now means "homosexual". Do you ALSO disagree with this "thoughtless shift" in how this word was defined and used, because the change was "rapid" and "forced"
Or does your objection only apply to issues or people that you personally don't like? Are you merely "happy" in your area?
People talking past each other is much more a product of their poor attitudes than it is a feature of an evolving language.
Accepting people for who they are reflects maturity and humanity. Rejecting people because you personally don't like who they are reflects arrogance, immaturity and entitlement.

Please learn to read. I did not say (nor do I believe) that words "have no meaning".
The English language constantly evolves. It has always done so and always will do so. EVERY word in the English language was made up by someone at some point in the past. The meaning of many words has changed over time, sometimes subtly and sometimes dramatically. The invention of new words, and changes to the meaning of existing words, has not prevented us from being able to communicate clearly with each other today. This refutes your assertion that the changes in the meaning of a few words (which just happen to refer to something you personally don't like) will result in the "damage the flow of communication".
If you live in a free society, you are free to hold transphobic views. I'm sure plenty of people will agree with your views. (I'm sure many of them would also hold strong homophobic views). But my view is that people who feel so entitled that they get to dismiss a person's identify simply because they don't like it should just grow the hell up.

If I place Lighter & Princess and First Frost somewhere in the 8–10/10 range for chemistry between the leads,…
I absolutely loved "The First Frost" and I scored it 9/10. However, I dropped "Lighter & Princess" after 3 episodes because the ML acted like a piece of shit, continually mistreating and humiliating the FL. I find it too uncomfortable to see a male mistreating a female.

I started to watch "Unforgettable Love", but I dropped it after 10 episodes because I just wasn't enjoying it. I especially didn't like how the male coerced and manipulated the female into a relationship - I find plots like that creepy.
But back to this drama, I understand your position. I would just add that (supposively) having a child was not the only issue that bothered Shen Xi Fan. She was also bothered by the fact that he didn't mention the existance of his (supposive) child to her. Concealing such an important fact could quite reasonably be seen as being dishonest. Except of course, we know she was wrong.

I've never watched it, but its a Chinese romcom, so there is a 99.99999999% chance it has a happy ending.

I agree with you, but from what I understand, this is a big deal in countries with Confucian ideology deeply ingrained in society. The Korean drama https://kisskh.at/32977-spring-night had this as a central plot point, with the ML having a son. The FL accepted (and adored) the boy, but the FL's parents were opposed to their relationship for this reason. By the end, the FL's mother accepted the ML (and his son), but her father didn't. One Spring Night is an excellent drama by the way, but its a bit heavier than this one.

So, if you disagree with someone, your response it to call them an AI. That's very mature of you. Also, please learn to read. I did not say and nor do I believe that gender identity causes (or is caused by) sexual orientation. However, it is true that some non binary people identify as lesbians. You might not like that, but it doesn't stop if from being true. Identity is a personal thing. As much as you'd like to, you simply DON'T get to tell another person what their identity should be. It is a fact that non-binary people are genetically either male or female. Are they allowed to identify as a non-binary person, or must they only identify with the gender that corresponds with their biology? I struggle to comprehend the level of entitlement a person has who thinks they have the right to tell other people how they are allowed to identify.

So ... in China apparently, if an ex-boyfriend stalks a woman at her place of employment and makes a scene, the correct response by the employer is not to ask the stalker to leave the premises, but rather rebuke the female employee who is being sexually harassed by her ex, reduce her salary and demand that she fix the situation. And of course the female employee meekly and apologetically accepts this punishement and all her colleagues are also fine with it.
I strongly suspect that doesn't reflect the reality in China, and if I'm correct, then why the fuck do drama writers add such scenes which make their country look like a misogynistic backwater, when it wasn't even necessary in the narrative?

If you feel entitled to gatekeep words, then good for you. The rest of the planet are not obligated to follow your preferred defintion of any word. And no, words do NOT have an inherent meaning, they have USAGES, which can and do change over time. By YOUR reasoning, the word "gay" means someone who is happy, because that was the "meaning" of the word.
Your black skin verses white skin line is just so 1800's, it doesn't deserve a response. Do you also think we should start measuring people's lip width to check they are correctly identifying their racial heritage?
I literally have no clue what point you are trying to make with your porn title comment, but what is disgusting is when a person feels so entitled that they can tell another person what sexual identify they are and aren't allowed to have.
LASTLY, if you don't like this show, and think it is "fake", THEN DON'T WATCH IT. There are thousands of shows that I'm confident won't offend your sensibilities. Find one and go and watch it.

Well, that is your opinion, and you're entitled to it. But you DON'T get to gatekeep a word. The label "lesbian" can be applied to woman (or non-binary people) who experience sexual attraction towards women. It does not necessarily exclude bisexual or pansexual people. (I couldn't find even a single dictionary definition that agreed with your opinion). The label is used by individuals as a SELF-IDENTIFICATION of their own sexual orientation, and YOU don't get to decide how other woman are allowed to identify. Lastly, at least some LESBIANS who make LESBIAN dating shows are perfectly comfortably with having bisexual and pansexual women (or non-binary people) as contestants. YOU might not like that, and if that is the case, then simply don't watch those shows.
