I'm genuinely curious why? He's hardly a victim here.

Episode sex?

This dramas had potential and it started off quite strongly. The story developed slowly, which worked in the early episodes, but definitely caused the story to drag over the second half of the drama. The production was good, but the writing wasn't great, leaving the potential the plot had unfulfilled. I just found myself losing interest in the story about three quarters the way through.
The narcissistic dictatorial parent trope is so very overused, the next writer that uses it should punch themselves in the face.
I don't think this drama is as bad as some of the reviews and comments here suggest. The early episodes were quite good, but the drama ended up mediocre and bland.
I'm giving it 7½ mostly because of the early episodes.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo was THE first KDrama I ever watched, and I loved it. I'm hoping this remake is just as good.

Genuinely funny in places, and entertaining enough to keep my attention to the very last episode. It also had some positive messaging, but didn't come across as preachy. It's the first time I've seen Kim Hyang Gi in a drama and I was very impressed with her acting. I also really enjoyed the campy over-acting of the guys during the BL drama scenes.
Definitely recommended and easily bingeable with short episodes.

iQIYI would be your best bet.

It's a really good drama, so you should enjoy it.

Chan's extended periods of just standing there like a store mannequin while Key and Jay bicker over her is getting tiresome.

I wish I had a dollar for every time Key ran her hand through her hair.

For me, it is easily the best Thai GL to date.

Did the writers really expect me to believe that it did not occur to Lu Xi Xiao that his family may have forced Zhou Wan away? Really? Not even a tiny suspicion that might have been what happened? Even after his family's long history of controlling and manipulating pretty much everybody to get what they want, it still didn't occur to him? Really?
Because I don't believe he is that stupid.

Noble idiocy is the most overused, boring and stupid trope in the history of dramas. Yet drama writers keep using it over and over and over.

Now I think about it, their "relationship" was more like a series of one night stands, than it was a normal relationship. So when the ML asked the FL, "do you even see me as your boyfriend?", her reply should have been, "not really, you're just the man I fuck on the weekends".

"Acquaintances with benefits", or perhaps just "work colleagues with benefits"?

The relationship did seem to be purely physical. Even though there was a proposal at the end, to me their relationship was never anything other than friends with benefits.

I don't deny he did some "good" things as well, but his long list of toxic and controlling behaviours can't just be summarised as "arrogant and conceited". Many of them were psychologically abusive. The regular insults, the belittling, the petty jealousy and the accompanying controlling behaviour etc. etc. etc.
Many of those "good" things are things any decent person would do for another human being, or certainly things that a person would do for a friend or sexual partner.
There is also the argument that he did at least some of the things you mentioned simply because he wanted to keep her close so he could more easily control her and keep her sexually available to him.
I lost respect for the FL because of her willingness to acceptance his mistreatment, although to be fair, she was terrified of losing her job so she had no real choice but to submit. She did grow and mature throughout the drama, and I thought her best moment was when she told him some home truths when she broke up with him after being robbed of the award. I think that this would have been a good place for the drama to end. But of course, it was obvious that a happy ending would be manufactured, because that is what most viewers demand.
I will admit that I have a problem with males harming females, and this influences my perception of the drama. Consequently, I tend to focus on the harmful behaviour, which I will admit causes my comment to lack nuance. However, I think a similar criticism can be made of people who identify some attitudinal flaws in the ML (e.g.. arrogance and conceit), but ignore or minimise his toxic behaviours.
While our opinions of the drama differ, I thank you for the respectful discussion of those different opinions.
