A cute rom com that doesn't take itself too seriously. The production quality was quite good, as was the cinematography. It is refreshing to watch a drama that doesn't have homophobic family members for a change. There were some genuinely funny scenes in the drama and the intimate scenes were beautifully shot. I especially liked Lookmhee's acting - she was very believable in her role as a girl raised in a rural environment. Personally I thought the last two episodes were unnecessary, with a silly contrived breakup and some filler scenes that didn't add anything to the story. If I was to watch this again, I'd probably only watch the first six episodes.

This confuses me. The Taiwanese Lesbian dating series "Love Girl's Dormitory" (AKA "Girl's Love House") was 13 episodes long, with each episode about 90 minutes in length, and the quality of the show was on par with this show. Not only that, they produced hours more content that was available for YouTube members. And they did this without crowdfunding. I just don't understand why this show ended up being so short.
This drama had potential, but it didn't anywhere close to reaching it. Poor writing, corny dialogue, wooden acting, inconsistent behaviour from the characters and terrible audio dubbing resulted in a very amateur final product. The writers tried to fit far too much into the short run time which unfortunately resulted in everything being treated in a very shallow manner. The issue of Ching Shui traumatising Shen Fang with her brutal and humiliating rejection wasn't even dealt with. One of my pet hates in dramas is unearned redemption for an evil character. In too many GL dramas, an evil homophobic parent (or grandparent) simply changes their mind about opposing the same-sex relationship and then all is suddenly forgiven. The oceans of suffering they caused are all just forgotten because she's magically not homophobic anymore. It's lazy writing and is a lost opportunity to provide viewers with a powerful and emotional redemption scene. Overall, I'd recommend this drama only for rabid fans of GL dramas. For everyone else, I'd say spend your limited drama viewing hours watching something else.
